  1. ^^^^^ All of this. So maras want push? Juggs want a pull, shadows want electro net or shoulder cannon (either really would be fine plz), snipers want saber reflect... We could play this game all day. Everyone wants something some other class has, boohoo. These kinds of differences is exactly what makes the classes different. You add a new ability to one then everyone wants one. You add something that one class lacks, then they all want what they feel their class lacks.
  2. So I've been trying to get the Ord Mantell lore underworld influences. But as of 4.0 it seems to be broken. Swtor spy, dulfy, and torcommunity, all have the same information. I have tried what they said, and variations on all conversation options. I have two thoughts as to how this broke First thing is only troopers/smugglers can talk to the quest giver. Other classes can pick up this mission via a box, but at no time talk to gizmel. Maybe adding the weekly boxed version broke it. Other thought is that on the completion of the light side conversation with the droid you don't go back to gizmel. The quest auto completes and gizmel's voice projects to you (he calls? Voice texting?) with what I can only assume is what He would have said if you went back to him. Maybe that is the issue. Lord knows I don't know the coding, but is there any chance we can get this fixed? Here is what the direct websites list as how to get it: http://www.swtor-spy.com/codex/underworld-influences/1494/ Has: Additional information: You’ll get this codex entry after completing the daily Heroic 2+ Buying Loyalty. Underworld Influences lore the only way to get it is to have the droid destroy the spice in place on the daily heroic mission (the light side choice). You don’t get it if you take the spice to the original quest giver and have him watch you destroy it, or in any other cases. Keep in mind, having the droid destroy it grants Light points. And http://dulfy.net/2013/10/20/swtor-galactic-loremaster-achievement-guide/#3 Has: Underworld Influences (Oradam Village) * Talk to Gizmel to get [H2] Buying Loyalty. Make sure you pick the light side option that tells the droids to destroy the spice. Returning to Gizmel after its completion will reward you with the codex entry. And https://torcommunity.com/guides/achievements/planets/ord-mantell Has the following: Buying Loyalty Buying Loyalty * This mission is started by Gizmel in Oradam Village.
 * He will send you to Savrip Island to meet a droid about a shipment from a ship that crashed on the island.
 * By selecting the * Light Side choice when talking with the droid on Savrip Island, the codex Underworld Influences, for Loremaster of Ord Mantell, will be awarded at the end of the mission

  3. What exactly is "ready"? 100% bug free might take quite some time.
  4. This is an old issue. The only reason some chairs on your ship are interactive is due to a rogue programmer putting in "worrisome" code. They do not feel that coding is safe to replicate, and your personal him is hooked Ito to many parts (flags) of your story that it simply can't be changed now. The least time consuming answer they found what to be able to make you sit as if in a chair, thus letting you use anything chair-like in the game.
  5. Yes, the solo he means is the one with the tactical droid. Yes is has effectively 2 comps. It is easy. So easy it doesn't give very highly rated gear. Tacticals can be soloed. They are far less easy, thus they give better gear. HM is even harder... And they give even better gear (I smell a pattern, but that could just be the Taco Bell I ate). Yes, gear makes things easier, which is why the game is set up to give you better gear then what is needed to do what you are doing. That bug sounds annoying as ****. Can customer service not help? Graphics changes? Idk what would fix that, but I am sorry to hear you are missing out on it. Yes players have more abilities - that doesn't mean much. The ability to use those abilities varies from person to person, so the best way to look at it is net output (damage per second, heals per second, threat per second). And a rank 50 comp puts out a ton of those (well maybe not tps but whatever). The point is the comps are more then a below avg human you might find in a Pick Up Group. Moreover the comps are often immune to various AoE's and dots put out by bosses. They generally can't get knocked off, and whatnot. So in many fights having a comp is outright better then having some random human as is. Sure they could weaken the comps, but then you risk those times when mechanics does matter for them to melt like butter. All falling to my point of how much effort this idea would take, just to appease a few. Yes is does hurt to try. Because time spend of this is time not spent on other parts of the game the majority of players would actually use/enjoy.
  6. Who said companions aren't needed in the game? I don't see that in any of my posts. What does having a choice of comp's have to do with your wish to use them all at once? I have some toons in mostly 224, I have toon's I 174s. The state of my various characters' gearing has nothing to do with how I feel about your gear drops inside your 3 comp dream FP. I was mentioning GSF due to the devs feeling as if it was largely wasted effort for little mass usage. As I said your idea, I fear, will be the same way. I don't know how to make that more clear for you. You are asking for tweaks to the AI of comps and all FP npcs (with possible power level rescaling) just so the few people in this thread can have 3 comps in a FP. As I said before I don't think this will appeal to enough people to justify the effort in programming. Personally I'd rather see them use that time for new worlds/WZs/story then just give use a new way to play old stuff. You don't like to do group stuff, fine. Then do the SOLO stuff, or get good enough to solo harder content by yourself or with a friend. You want the rewards of doing what you don't want to do. I want to be paired without having to work, but it won't happen. The reward of grouped content is because it grouped and its level of difficulty. Your same logic should let non-pvpers have PvP rewards, or pvpers get endgame PvE mounts and such. Not like doing the content (like long it or not) should stand in the way of the rewards right? As for speedrunners not being gamers, well that is definitely your opinion. Some people might think having 3/4ths of your team be AI in a FP isn't gaming either. To each their own. Frankly if you don't like who you are grouping with - then get a new group. I welcome you to the guild I am in on Jung ma. We run op at least bi-weekly, and we are happy to not rush if that isn't your play style. You don't even need to transfer, as I believe you have a lvl 60 token on each server. We can run you though SM Op's even at that lvl. Come try it.
  7. From the Dev notes on the live stream: "Receive a code you can give a friend which will give them access to Chapter I: The Hunt along with a feww level 60" (not my typo) So my question is simply; is use of this above mentioned code going to be treated as a friend referral, or a completely new hoop for my "friends" to jump through?
  8. You asked for help to become a better player? Here is comes: stop using your mouse to click things. Bind keys. Once you stop relying on your mouse cursor you'll be much better off for it.
  9. I run a high end gaming system, and I've done bless is repeatly across 14 characters. On resent trips back to mob up some achievements I found myself crashing often. Lowering graphics and different characters still had crashed. Reloading the game would buy me some time on world though, so it isn't a instant location based affair. Seemed most frequent in the starting zone near the imp and pub bases.
  10. Can only confirm for solo mode so far, but across all planets I saw the same things happening. Eternal pilot's chest was glowing a soft purple and ephemris's legs were not visable.
  11. And yet you seem to think you are. Insults will get you nothing. EU didn't lose a whole day, it lost the same about of time as everyone else. Was that time lost more "prime time"? Sure. But to expect either time staggered updates making SOMEONE get stuff early isn't fair, but everyone getting the same thing at the same time is the MOST fair. Frankly no one ever said this or anything else would be fair. The ToS doesn't say it will treat EU fairly, nor does it say it will treat the USA fairly. You want a bunch of 9-5 America devs to stay up late just to make EU happy? When do they get to sleep or go home on a patch day? Can you not see the bigger picture? If I was playing an MMO based in the EU I would understand patches happening on EU based timings. Pity you can't see the same for BW.
  12. No it's a bad idea imho. You want the same loot as people that are coordinating. Your 3 comps require much less effort, so why should you get the same gear? In normal group content the drops are fought over by the 4 people. I your group only you get it all. You want them to speed time and energy that could be put toward new items, new missions, new anything, and instead put it toward the comp AI? The same AI that currently isn't even needed in end game or group content? Do you ever play GSF? People whined here on the forums for ages about how they wanted a better space game. Just improve what was there! And when they made it, they had wasted their time. The devs admitted that even at its peak GSF didn't have the player use to have justified the effort. I fear it the same with this idea. All the effort you are asking for to do this, but how many will honestly use it? Wouldn't the player base (you included) be better of with a new planet? Daily zone? Nearly anything else? - this is my point. Sure, if they have infinite money and time, i'd sign off on this and a million other ideas, but that's not happening. You ask to much for to little. Find a way to make your idea appeal to a larger base and you have a shot.
  13. Few would use it. People whined for years on the forums to make transport this easy, and BW gave it to them. I doubt they will see any reason to set all this up just to have it ignored.
  14. It would be very nice to have reminders of which character did what with/against Valkorian. /signed
  15. If they wanted to put in a new class it would be prohibitive to do anything but start it at KotFE. No level 1-59, no original worlds. It took them 5 years do 8 classes. Seeing as many people still are unwilling to try all the classes - they would be pressed to justify the manpower. I'm sure they do not want another GSF situation. This is a well planed idea, I enjoyed reading your storyline, but sadly unless this started at KotFE, I don't see how they would justify that amount of work for the limited return.
