  1. I know it's been suggested before but for the sake of showing sustained interest, please add a crew skills vendor personnel decoration to the Cartel Market. A good idea would be to offer vendors in various races (got catch/collect them all!). Preferably female Twi'lek, Togruta, Chiss, and/or a droid like Scorpio would be nice. If you won't place them in the CM directly, at least consider adding them to a pack shipment in the immediate future. Thanks.
  2. To those that made a purchase for swtor via the Origin client and were able to download and install through it, when you launch the game does it still bring up the swtor launcher and require you to login to it? I got a new HD and did a clean install for Win 10. I liked how Steam serves as a portal for various games launching them and even logging into them for ya or at least logging into the launch for you to hit "play" when it comes up. I imagined Origin working the same way for swtor. After installing Origin, I couldn't find any way to download and install swtor directly through the client short of possibly making a purchase through it. I ended up installing swtor outside of Origin and adding the game to the client but it just brings up the launcher and I have to conduct a second login function. I was just wondering if it worked same way regardless if you installed through the Origin client directly or added the game?
  3. I was thinking about it and couldn't figure out a good reason why not to change the current ranked mission objectives from "win" to "play?" With the changes they made to PVP involving removing the old rank comm system, the missions are just extra comms and PVP consumables. It's not really a fix but may foster activity on servers where the solo ranked queue doesn't pop too often giving it a shot in the arm. Otherwise, they'll be accessible goals (to a larger population) to fulfill for extra comms/consumables/creds or/and personal/guild conquest (if it ties in?). I think it'll be a good change. Thoughts?
  4. Few things to consider: 1) Mob compositions - All standards? One gold? A silver and a couple of standards? 2) Mob densities - Are they all nicely clustered? Are they spread out? 3) Mob abilities/behavior - CC? Repositions? Heals? 4) Distances between other mobs - Within range of a leap? Far enough to just finish the pack before moving on to the next? There will be some instances where one spec is more ideal than the other or equal for both. I think it averages out, that's why I say one is not worse than the other. Whether one is more efficient than another, it's to a negligible degree based on the games current state/content.
  5. Undoubtedly, there is a difference in the feel of the playstyle of the three specializations. Despite this, the game's content has been made easy enough that currently the differences are negligible with respect to their being an ideal specialization for leveling. Mobs die rather quickly regardless of specialization while leveling and you'll zip through levels just the same with any of the three. Again, any will do so just pick the one you find the most interesting and fun to play for the sake of leveling. Side note, Concentration does have improved mobility but Combat's is no worse than Watchman's. Combat can also target switch easily. It's Watchman that'll struggle with switching.
  6. Not what you'll probably want to hear but you've hit the nail on the head, "any will do..." Especially, since they've streamlined stuff and companions scale off your gear now.
  7. I've searched around and found various sources that didn't quite have up-to-date information on this subject. I currently have 5 primary only, 5 secondary only, and 30 primary and secondary dyes....40 total. Are there more?
  8. Disregard post, I forgot about bolster. Although, I remember reading you don't want to replace piece by piece because it screws with the way bolster calculates?
  9. OP, I'm not sure if you mean by generally glancing at the ops frames or when you have someone targeted but hopefully some of these in-game settings can help. Go into your UI editor which is the "+" found near the lock on your main bar or through hitting "Esc" and selecting it there. The various in-game UI frames will be displayed along with the main UI editing window. The UI editor window displays a list of global settings by default. Clicking on frames brings up their individual settings in this window. The frames that you'd be looking for are ops and/or target's buffs. You are able to increase the buff size or move the target's buff frame from it's normal location to one that better suits your purpose.
  10. There was a post in the general forum about this but should have been posted here. I'd just like to call attention to a bug where companions which seem to be flagged as "Guest" for class missions are not appearing and are not listed in the Companions And Contacts window or the Crew Skills window which prevents players from progressing their class story lines.
  11. A friend I'm trying to get back into the game has the same problem. He's a level 44 Jedi Consular (Sage) and can't progress his class quest which requires Nadia Grell for the mission Fearless. He's tried the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this thread already too. Nadia is no where to be found.
  12. I'm a Jedi Sentinel who's just finished Chapter 9 in the Fallen Empires expansion. I reached influence level 25 on the T7-01 I had been using for missions when I noticed I had a second T7-01. It appears in the Companions and Contacts window and the Crew Skills window. I'm sure they're separate companions as the influence level of the second T7-01 is only 10 currently. When I summon the level 10 one, his stats are lower than the T7-01 that's level 25. When/if this bug is fixed, please retain my highest level one as I invested a good chunk of my resources and time in my level 25 companion.
  13. As a combat sent, I currently have Centering as a utility because most of the guides have it as highly recommended/mandatory. Does this selection still stand? I'm not doing progression or dummy parsing currently. I just find in Ops I only get to make use of this utility once per boss fight (or none if the tank pulls before I finish channeling). Are there other viable options? If so, which? Thanks.
