  1. The problem isnt level scaling, its slow development and lack of content. Things become boring faster than they should for an online game. New content needs to be added regularly OR the current setup should be converted to include random spawns and evolving dungeons.
  2. It would really be cool if these were excluded from class quests and only accessible after you had completed the story on another toon for the class you wanted to play. Or they could go a step further and require you to have legendary status to unlock these races.
  3. I'd like to see a persistent set of missions specific to class. Some repeatable class based heroics. Bounty hunts, holocron retrievals, sith/jedi assasinations, smuggling runs, Trooper assaults each with a reputation vendor.
  4. It's only that train that really bogs it all down. I never likedthat thing. Stronghold idea was stupid too imo. I mean just tge planet. Don't need the train at all.
  5. There's a lot they need to do. I keep getting so frustrated with the game's development. It's such a lazy effort that they never feel the need to explain.
  6. I definitely agree. They really need to add a lot more planets to the game. A whole lot more.
  7. I think that would be awesome with one addendum--- maybe a minor damage penalty if it's not specific to your advanced class. I hate how the commando can use a rifle minus a few abilities. I think simply a damage reduction would be enough.
  8. The work that went into the environment is really amazing and unique. Really a shame there's no daily area there. A planetary quest would be nice too but I feel like that's too much to hope for.
  9. I agree too. It would be acceptable if you only needed one crafted item instead of a stack of them.
  10. A lot of good points have been made but one of the things that really gets me is when things don't go how someone imagined it would and they immediately resort to insults and profanity. Or they immediately vote to kick and start gaslighting to back up their vote to kick. The term sh****r gets thrown out a lot by people that have trouble voicing their grievances or their intended strategy for that matter. It's almost like why even pug if you expect people to play precisely according to your style? That's what friends, progression groups, and guilds are for. I've long resigned myself to asking if people need pointers (should I see a problem) but otherwise staying quiet. It's too out of hand for me to do anything besides dps in most cases. I applaud healers and tanks for even bothering lol.
  11. I'd love to see a quest or an achievement that allows this. I'm imagining a complete shift to the opposite side. As for class stories going forward, you could just be inserted into your mirror class's story. This could also add some new life to the game for older players as a fill-in for the popular "time for a new class" idea that continually resurfaces. Don't know how this would affect companions but it would be fun to run an imp toon through pub content and vice versa. I think it would add more longevity to existing content than a lot of the usual content updates we get.
  12. I'm not saying it's the steam guys, I'm using Steam's infusion as a chronological marker to denote the difference. My suspicion is that the toxic players were somehow rejuvenated by an increase in population. Maybe they were lying low until they saw the opportunity to get into groups due to being on too many ignore lists. I welcome new players. They're good for everybody.
  13. If it was just words it would be more tolerable. The thing is they wreck whole groups by upsetting a key role. When the tank or the healer quits it's pretty much over man. I got so sick of them I haven't tanked in a year and I might heal if I know you already.
  14. Yeah that's something to think about. Those guys just really wear me down. I just don't even want to play with come out in droves. From one group to the next it's really draining. The part I enjoy the most is group content otherwise I wouldn't really play at all. I guess I'll see what I can figure out. My whole guild's on hiatus so I need to think for a while.
  15. Since the steam release there's just been this radical influx of toxic players, more so than usual. I don't even know what else to say. I think I'm cancelling my sub for a few months, let this die down.
  16. Great idea! They could even use it for some of the much older deleted content like orange items from planetary token vendors and removed flashpoint drops.
  17. I hate making a ton of premium attachments to make a ton of prototype attachments to finally make a ton of artifact attachments. Who thought that up? Fire this guy. There are plenty of different mats for that to not be a thing.
  18. Yeah I like this idea. I'm often disappointed at getting my chip returned lol. It's just tedium.
  19. I don't like the abilities + animations healers are left with for dps out of their class. I want the cooler dps abilities and they kind of give you the lame ones. As a result, I don't player heal er very often at all. Aside from healing it's just too boring personally.
  20. I just saw these as they are in the link on the loading screen. Why would they do that? Lol I want them too. Especially the boots.
  21. Mmhm. Yup. The all of this too lol. I don't like to insult EA but they really need to Star Wars it up when it comes to this games feel in terms of gameplay. As a decades long fan what always stood out to me in Star Wars was that you coukd do anything. Everybody was a customized and unique character with varied skills. Here, you get forced down a narrow path of playing a rotation and using specific gear instead of being your own character. Prime example Kyle Katarn.

Combat pets 2. custom animations for every companion 3. combine gsf with class ships and make starship fps and ops 4. let blaster classes use any ranged weapon albeit with penalties based on class, same for force sensitive classes with lightsabers 5. allow all classes to use techblades and techstaves 6. make randomized or evolving dungeons 7. Add a design your own lightsaber station or forge so we can design our own hilts 8. Allow 2 comps in solo fps so we can have trinity 9. Let force sensitive classes choose their own lightsaber style (soresu, ataru, etc.) and add custom animations for each style
  23. I level up whichever ones I find interesting or that I feel fit the class I'm playing. Moreover, they come in handy to keep me from getting too bored during content droughts. I also like to max certain ones for specific roles -- Shae for dps, Senya for tanking, and Hexid for heals, etc but that's just my preference. It's always good to have a reliable 50 on standby for FPs when somebody drops or gets kicked. If everybody is geared, knows how to play, and your comp is at max it saves you from having to requeue with the exception of a few cases. Oh last note.. It's a lot cheaper to level the creature and droid comps thanks to the jawa scraps that drop and it's considerably easier to make credits these days too for the rest.
  24. We need those. I enjoy playing this game as much as I hate it. With that said the slow content development wouldn't be so bad if there were more options and variety in play. Custom animations on comps would lead me to level more of them to 50 instead of just one or two considering how many we have.
  25. Lol there's quite a few that sound absolutely terrible. I fire them once and trash them they sound so bad.
