I propose an option be added to select your preferred level range when queuing in GF within ten levels of potential group mates (i.e. 10 to 20, 20 to 30, etc).
A low level player won't have a rotation or very much survivabilty when matched with players tens of levels above because of the bolster effect. Now I know you can simply decline the group when this happens but given the wait times it is quite aggravating.
A low level player even with bolster simply doesn't have the ability range to keep up and detracts from the groups overall perfprmance. What you get is the tank who can't draw aggro, the healer who can't keep anyone alive (including himself), or the dps who may as well be throwing rocks. Players missing vital skills like taunt, interupt, or AOE heals/damage shouldn't be matched with higher level players in GF. Granted there may be a few exceptions, but generally this is what I am seeing.
There is a very noticeable difference if your tank is level 23, the healer is level 50, one dps is 64, and the other is 16. It just makes for an awful waste of time and credits in my opinion. With the level of the FP set to the highest player, you get one player trying to carry the whole team.
While this may work for some (yes I know there are hypergamers who can solo HM FPs), again, in my opinion I think it's a disasterous recipe for the vast majority of players relying on the holy trinity to complete group content.
