  1. Still waiting for the exact metrics supporting your previous claims. Just sharing my experience having seen people show interest in LS Jaessa. If she's all over Youtube, that may mean something. On the other hand, I still haven't seen any evidence supporting your "extreme minority" argument. What do quests have to do with the discussion about companions? The two things are of entirely different nature. No need to grasp at straws. Jaessa is basically two companions. It's one thing to have a returning companion treated poorly, but another one to not have a returning companion at all. Not sure what you're trying to prove with this sort of argument. Are you implying that for them to remove "good apples" from the better days of the game and not giving them back for whatever reason to a select few "kids" is justifiable in any shape or form? I'm sorry but I disagree. You know, to me it seems that the whole point of your arguing is that things are bad, and they will stay bad, so we should all silently support that and quietly hope for the state of things to improve in some distant future. Speaking out against current decisions and critisizing them contradicts your view which you seem to consider to be the only legitimate one.
  2. How do you know these people are the extreme minority? And how do you know this is a factor in them having made such a decision? Any statistics or official posts or something to back up your claims? I for one have seen just as many vids of LS Warrior and Jaessa on Youtube as of DS ones, if not more. Well, all the other classes (except Inquisitor) eventually got back exactly what had been taken from them. The Jaessa case is an entirely different matter. Once again, all the other kids were getting their apples back over time. With the exception of Inquisitors, who got a plastic model of their apple, and LS Warriors, who got nothing (or a different fruit to which they were allergic). Next, LS vs DS Jaessa has always been a special thing, even post vanilla. They have different looks, different quotes when you click on them, different battle cries, etc. All these things are felt no matter what content you are playing. Sure, but then go ahead and explain it story-wise in-game. And give us an option to refuse her, or at least to make her "moderate" DS like Lana. It would still feel extremely bitter to LS Warriors with their past choice having been made meaningless, but not as devastating and plainly game-breaking at least. There's always a way, you just have to be creative about it. I personally can think of several ways to avoid this situation right off the bat. I'm sure that Bioware story writers can see even more of them since it's their job to write coherent stories, they just seem not to care enough to deliver quality anymore.
  3. Let's say I'm a LS/neutral Warrior who picked LS Jaessa back in the day. Sometime later, Bioware decides to take her from me for story reasons. Same happens to a DS Warrior who picked DS Jaessa. We are the two kids who have nothing at this point. Then, Bioware decides to give us Jaessa back, but only the DS one. That's cool for a DS Warrior, but not so much for a LS/neutral one. In fact, for the latter it's worse than getting nothing - he's getting something that blatantly contradicts his story choices. Or, in other words, breaks up his story. So, we got one kid who got the whole apple and is satisfied, and another kid who got nothing but a sour taste in his mouth. Thus my analogy is absolutely correct. Then they probably shouldn't write their story in a way which invalidates a huge chunk of the previous story and discover other ways for it to move forward.
  4. The second option is definitely a much better solution. It's like you have an apple and two kids. Would you give the whole apple to one of them so he can have a better experience while the other one gets shafted? Or you would cut the apple in half so both kids can experience something?
  5. Bump, so this can have some more time on the front page.
  6. I appreciate you guys working on the eyes, but could this problem get some attention too, please?
  7. Still waiting for this (and the Jedi robe big butt bug) to be fixed so I can resume playing the game. Or at least for a response. Of any kind. The silence is really putting me off.
  8. 1. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=934303 2. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=934601 I've recently returned to record some story and perhaps play some end-game, but decided to hold off doing that until after these bugs have been fixed. It seems I'm in for a long wait, however, because they are clearly not a priority for the dev team. Oh well, it's not like there's nothing else to play out there.
  9. They said they'd look into it about 2 weeks ago but have never replied ever since.
  10. Any update? I mean it's been a while...
  11. I'm sorry, not really sure how else to call this type of armor. I'm talking about something like this: https://torf.mmo-fashion.com/remnant-arkanian-inquisitor/ The armor I've linked is a nice combination of armor and robe elements and it's basically the only one I enjoy on my Assassin tank. Everything else feels a bit too "robe-y" (sorcerer) or too "armor-y" (warrior) so doesn't really suit him. It would be nice to see more sets in the spirit of the one I've linked. Oh, and preferably without hood or at least hooded down, please.
  12. Not sure why you guys stopped making them, but I feel like they are quite fitting for Sages/Sorcerers who concentrate on using the Force itself rather than melee weapons. It might even be a good idea to introduce some kind of lightsaber daggers/knives for them as well. The hilts would have to be rather short though, much shorter than what we have now, or it would defeat the purpose of having such weapons.
  13. Sure, take a look at this thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=934601
  14. It may seem like "little silly thing that can wait" to you, but alongside the Jedi robe big butt syndrome, this issue stops me from recording cutscenes, which makes it game breaking to me. So don't speak for everyone, please.
  15. Just logged on my Knight only to find that this same bug is present right now. Please fix it, I wanted to record some cutscenes but can't bring myself to do that while my character is looking so comical
  16. Is there any chance for these to ever return? I remember seeing a handful of really nice ending cutscenes back in the day and it's a shame to see them gone. A simple straightforward "yes/no" answer from a Dev would be appreciated.
  17. I would have probably missed it. But if this game suddenly changed into something non-starwarsy, I'd still play it because I do enjoy having cutscenes with my character choosing what to say and do in them, regardless of the theme of the game.
  18. I see this thread has been empty for some time so decided to pop in http://imgur.com/a/HnXVE
  19. Here's a snapshot of my main (Assassin) taken during one of the cutscenes. Feel free to used it for practice if you want http://imgur.com/a/HnXVE
  20. Just wow, way to twist facts and spread misinformation. I don't even know where to begin correcting you... and not sure I even should since this is not a WoW board. For anyone who is wondering, I'll just say that the latest expansion has been very well recieved by the playerbase and people are mostly happy (not saying there are no issues, nothing is perfect, but still). And for reference, when it comes to WoW (and SWtoR as well) I'm neither a blind fan nor a hater.
  21. Thanks, but no thanks. I hate using keybinds for anything but the most crucial abilities. They really need to give us an option to revert the menu bar to its original state, having to mouseover-choose-click on a desired element is so much more uncomfortable then to simply click on it.
  22. This actually made me remember something. Many years ago, when I was still playing KOTOR, I installed a mod which changed T3-M4 into Yuthura Ban (a Sith from Korriban) as if you recruited her after the Korriban questline was complete. All was more or less fine until one of the last cutscenes in which your companions held a meeting. During this meeting, "Yuthura" was moving her lips beeping like T3. This really cracked me up back then.
  23. Does anyone know of any videos showing the actual killing of your companions in beta? I've been trying to find some but to no avail.
  24. I'm kind of curious how Vette will react to a Warrior who never took her collar off and mocked/shocked her at every opportunity.
