  1. They should just release the "invisible lightsaber" on the CM. That would require the least amount of effort and do the trick. Other than that, I'd really like to see more shotos (is it the correct plural for shoto?) in the game. A shorter blade could indicate that the weapon is secondary to using the force.
  2. I don't think they were given the funds this time around, otherwise the cinematic would have been presented during the expansion reveal to help build up hype.
  3. I pronounce it either the Russian way "Es-Veh-TOR", or "Es-Doubleyou-TOR".
  4. I realize that this is not a 5.10 issue, but is there any chance that the Jedi robe "inflated butt" bug will be fixed in this update? Or in any of the following ones in the foreseeable future?
  5. I believe they should have "soft reset" our characters again before starting a new chapter, just like they did at the beginning of KotFE. That way they could have written a plausible story of us moving on from the entire Alliance thing without having to show it in-game. This would also have given the galaxy some breathing room while we were away.
  6. I feel like the CM is largely responsible for the game still being alive at this point. Without it, SWTOR would be long gone. Thing is, character progression needs to be a thing, in one form or another. So you want to either focus on providing your players with quality and abundant end-game content, or an abundance of cosmetics to collect. Assuming Bioware doesn't have resources and manpower for the former anymore, the latter is their only option.
  7. Meh, all I want is for the "big butt" glitch to be fixed (again). Would start playing again if that happened.
  8. I realize that this change is needed considering the current state of the game, but I also agree with the OP. The feeling of what (most) Warzones are supposed to be - a representation of faction conflict - will be lost. It is now randoms fighting randoms just for the sake of it. Good for gameplay, not so much for immersion.
  9. The weekend being over, I'd like to bring this to the front page one more time to try and get some devs' attention.
  10. I would agree with you if it hadn't been fixed in the past. We had this issue affecting Jedi robes since launch, but at some point early on in the game's lifespan they fixed it and the robes looked just fine. About a year or so ago, however, this bug was reintroduced and started to affect more types of gear. As for mitigating it - yeah, I can try to find a workaround for my own characters, but not for the various NPCs who wear bugged outfits. This is terrible and literally game-breaking for someone like me who mostly plays this game for the story and records all the cutscenes for their personal collection.
  11. Dear Bioware, This is probably my final attempt to try and bring some attention to this issue. There's no need for me to write an essay on it, just take a look at these two pictures: https://imgur.com/a/XU52xe8 https://imgur.com/a/zvCMBXW As you can see, the bottom area of the character is clearly inflated. This bug affects a wide range of armor sets, including various Cartel Market pieces. I would really appreciate it if you would dedicate some time and resources to eradicate this issue once and for all. P.S. As you could have noticed, I'd left out my character's name and title on one of the screenshots above. It would be really nice if you could add a comma between them, or just shorten the title to "Knight".
  12. Bought a couple of sets for later with CC accumulated from being a sub (can't recall the names, sorry). Always liked them but had never had a chance to get my hands on them. Could have bought more though if not for the big butt issue which totally ruins them.
  13. Almost two months have passed, the issue is still not fixed or even acknowledged. I've officially lost any hope. The devs simply don't care about the quality of their game and that's not going to change.
  14. Bioware can hardly spare any resources to pump out new content or even update the Cartel Market these days. On the contrary, they're cutting expenses wherever possible. Something as monumental as localizing the game in a different language is far beyond their reach. That said, I see that anti-Russian bias is going strong on these forums. This makes me a sad panda.
  15. Hmm, I somehow had an impression that they fixed this when the eyes were fixed for the most part. Sad to see this isn't the case.
  16. Unfortunately, they are not. As Zion said, 6.0 has probably been under development for quite a while. As long as they won't shed some light on their truly long-term plans, nothing will be certain. Besides, the development of any further content may still cease at any moment should the higher-ups decide to discontinue SWTOR in the end.
  17. Do Vette and Risha have some kind of interaction once you get the latter on your Smuggler?
  18. I guess we may have some hope for January 23rd. I wouldn't get too excited though.
  19. I wonder why the companions are class specific. I mean Andronikos is a pirate, he could fit literally anyone. I'd much prefer seeing him in my Smuggler's or BH's roster than in my Inquisitor's... They've been in Wild Space. Everyone who needs to stay out of the picture for story reasons has important stuff to do in Wild Space.
  20. I see what you're saying, but it's a bit more complex than that. At least in TOR era, the Jedi Order and the Sith Order are distinctive organizations. If you're a member of either of them, you have certain extended rights and responsibilities. In this sense, being Jedi or Sith means not just following a certain philosophy, but also officially being a member of an organization. You can't become a Jedi if you haven't been a padawan of the Jedi Order promoted by the Jedi Council, or a Sith if you haven't been an acolyte/apprentice of the Sith Order promoted by an actual Sith. What I'm trying to say is you can secretly or unconsciously follow the Light Side and simultaneously still be a Sith with all the rights and responsibilities this position entails. That one Sith Lord from the Jedi Knight story comes to mind. He was more of a misguided honorable warrior than an embodiment of the Sith Code. Same goes for the Jedi. There was a Jedi in the Warrior storyline who was filled with rage and would rather murder a Sith than accept their surrender.
  21. You know, out of all the drivel and insults you've been spouting, this line is the only one that actually makes sense. I should have recognized you for what you are and stopped responding long ago. Talking to you is like stepping into a pile of dirt at this point. It's also not worth it to waste time and energy on a schemer trapped in his own delusions who is simply unable to listen, comprehend, and think logically. I'm no longer going to reply to your posts. Feel free to believe that you've "won" and gorge on your "glorious victory" if that makes you happy. Leaving you, your delusions and your ego alone now. Take care. P.S. You're on my ignore list now by the way, so it would probably not make much sense responding to me anymore either.
  22. Not too bright, aren't we? I've never asked you to back up the fact that Jedi Knight has been the most prevalent class created. I asked you to back up these claims: If you haven't realized that, then it seems it is you who: So are you saying that any data collected back in 2011 is somehow still representative in 2017? Don't be ridiculous. "The info I asked for"? It's a 32-minute video from 2011 which may or may not contain something to back up your claims. I have no way of knowing without watching the entirety of it. And I'm certainly not going to do that since it's your job, not mine. The burden of proof is on you. When it comes to SWTOR, I believe most people upload their walkthroughs just to share them with others, very few do so to actually show a potential audience something unusual. But then again, it's your opinion vs my opinion so this particular argument is pointless. It just annoys me how you try to paint your opinions as facts. And certainly not you. Get off your high horse. Is this "everybody knows" statement supposed to somehow strengthen your assumption? If so, it failed since an assumption is still an assumption until there's actual proof behind it. Uhm, learn to read then? That is exactly what my words say. It is you who decided to bring in quests and stuff to derail the discussion about returning companions. Oh, so we now resort to whataboutism? Cute. You're still wrong, however, since unlike you I'm never afraid to admit that my opinions are just opinions when they actually are. Now that's just pathetic. It's clear that you have no interest in constructive discussion, you'd rather pointlessly bicker about every little thing. Nope, my analogy still stands. The terminal has always been outside the actual story. Disregarded it. Broke it. But the people who used to have LS Jaessa and who are now going to get shafted actually do care about the story. Why do you think people, in general, are so excited when yet another returning companion is announced if they could simply claim them all via terminal? The story matters. I guess I have to make my definition of apples more clear then. An apple is a companion as part of the story. They are incapable of using any other character but Jaessa to move their story forward? No, I don't think so. All that said, with each post you're growing more and more desperate. You're starting to resort to bickering and personal attacks instead of trying to have a constructive discussion and staying on topic. It's both amusing and sad to observe.
  23. The picture has no info related to the topic, I've no idea why you linked it at all. As for the video. Firstly, it's from 2011, so any statistics mentioned there don't reflect how things are today in any way. Secondly, I'm sorry but I'm not watching a 32-minute video just to find your evidence there somewhere. You could have pointed out the exact moment where the interviewees are supporting your claims. OR that's because more people are actually interested in acquiring LS Jaessa and just post their walkthroughs. Who knows. They bring DS Jaessa = an extreme minority has taken the LS one? What kind of warped logic is that? Just your assumption, nothing more. From the very beginning, I was talking about companions only. Nothing else. And what I was comparing to apples was companions and only companions. Your sorry attempt to bring something else into the argument makes it clear that all you really want is to derail it. Just another assumption of yours which holds no grounds. Oh, so now you've resorted to the terminal. Funny. The terminal will surely return most of the companions to you, but not story-wise. Getting a companion back this way and using it is actually breaking the story for you. I guess not wanting for my story to be broken makes me whiny and lazy. Oh well. It's quite simple, really. Just don't use a "two-in-one" character as a major figure in your story if you can't handle writing two separate storylines. Use Ashara. Or Kai Zykken. Or whoever else is more plausible in your eyes. If you're really bent on making DS Jaesa a major character for whatever reason, it's also possible to make it work but would require much more effort on your part.
