  1. So far I haven't seen a single post about it being a person's own responsibility of whether they purchase the crates or not at their own expense. Is this the new mindset of the players that it is someone else's fault that they were forced to purchase the crates? As a player it is entirely up to me whether I purchase the game and pay the monthly subscription and whether I purchase the crates, EA didn't force me to and neither did anyone else.
  2. An interesting concept of not having the Sith vs Republic but isn't this what the Star Wars universe is about, Dark vs Light, Sith vs Republic, and who will win in the end. There are no other viable organizations to ally or fight at this stage, you've taken care of the Hutt Cartel over Makeb, decimated many if not all the gangs while you were leveling and the Mando's now work for you. As I see it there are three viable factions, your Alliance which is composed of both zakuulian, republic, sith, mando, and criminal organizations and then you have the traditional factions Sith and Republic.
  3. You get HK-55 on February 11th.
  4. I don't presume to talk for other subscribers but as a 'subscriber' the devs nor the cms owe me anything other than producing more content and continuing to streamline the game by fixing bugs. Considering on what the forums have become and the sense of entitlement of players and the actions that they have taken against the devs, it shouldn't be a surprise they don't post here. Also, the developers have another 7 chapters to produce and debug, their time is better spent developing the game and looking at the suggestions that come from the players.
  5. 2. The gree armour colour, tie the colour crystals to it so you can custom colour the armour set?
  6. I haven't seen or experience a Harbinger crash in more than a few months now, so I"m not sure what the OP is all worked up about but again this is my personal experience with the game and the lag doesn't bother me either.
  7. Why should raiding be a thing of the past in the world of MMO's?? It should be really up to the individual person and guilds to decide whether they raid or not, I personally don't raid for such reasons that run from the attitude of the person in charge of the raid down to a lack of time.
  8. Why change it I have no issue with the current system and the way it works, so you have to spend a little extra time to look through another screen.
  9. Rofl, this is just so amusing, so if you extend the OP's argument to the collectible card industry, such as the NFL, NHL, NBA, and the MLB card packages is a form of gambling. It's an individuals own personal choice to continue to spend their own money on the CC for that last piece of armour or for that rare trinket, where did personal accountability for one's actions or choices go??
  10. I've never had or experienced any issue's with 'lag' or 'lag associated deaths' when I've been playing SWTOR.
  11. WAR would still be going if it was profitable I had played WAR starting with BETA and yes purchased the CE as well, initially it was a great game and had the luck of being with a great guild. I knew the game lore as I had played the tabletop version of Warhammer and yes the lore was correct in many ways but as with any mmo there were restrictions placed on the game. The pvp/rvr was great and was getting more dialed in as time went on to make it more balanced than it was at launch and the single player campaign was also fun. What eventually caused the guild and myself to quit was just a lack of refreshing things to do other than the rvr grind, some days there was no rvr grind to be done as Chaos wasn't simply there. As far as the future of SWTOR it will be around for as long as it's profitable.
  12. I would vote No on 'no or less voice acting' as it's part of the immersion of the game play I enjoy so much.
  13. Have you been to your ship and started the quest for Makeb?
  14. What level are you at with your sentinel and counselor?
  15. The server was having issue's with chat and mail functions as neither were available around 7 or 8 pm pst.
  16. What major problems as I haven't encountered any 'major problems' with my swtor experience or game play or the thought that they aren't listening to the players, look at a couple basic changes they implemented in 1.2. To those that have or had the impression that the dev team was listening well you are wrong as people were whining about not being able to spring until level 15 and that they couldn't ride their speeders in the spaceports, so the devs gave in on those two points. At launch people were complaining about cue times so they clone more servers to make people happy, now that people have gone onto different things the cry goes up about server transfers and about how slow the devs have been to react to the demands. Server transfers should never just be done quickly as, and I have gone through this before, that the devs have to figure out how to deal with duplicate names, who gets to keep there's and who has to change. . The MMO's an ever evolving project we are now in the seventh month since launch and we have been promised two large patches within the next couple on months people have to be more patient in their demands and realize that just as long as things fall within the reality of SWTOR it can happen.
  17. This is normal folks, the new game comes out and people flock to it to play it, beat the game, and then they come back, in my long experience with mmo's and the gaming industry in general that swtor will get back 90% of the people playing d3.
  18. Sorry OP but to disappoint you I do not feel that we are paying for a beta version of swtor.
  19. It would depend on your style of play, do you like to get up close and personal or do prefer engaging from distance? I've tried all the classes and the one class that is truly enjoyable and which is in my opinion is the best written class is Smuggler.
