  1. Day One play here, just came back from a long break, before Shadow of Revan. Good to be back, enjoying playing Sorcerer again Should I use a level 60 boost to play the newest expansion or will I miss some stuff from Revan? I currently I have no high level characters to play.
  2. I've been having the same problem. Happens every few flashpoints. It's a pain but since i'm a healer and know it takes awhile for another to queue up I stay so I don't ruin everyone elses run by having to wait. I get XP for kills at the boss fights and for completing but that's it. My server is The Shadowlands.
  3. I really don't like Alderaan either, it's mainly the Killiks, can't stand them. I just level my self up through warzones and flashpoints then go and do my storyline on that planet and move on, simple really.
  4. Isn't WOW also making less money now. I read that they're operating profit is 88 million, down 48% from last year. And that their revenue (282 million this year) is down 32% from last year as well. They're slowly but surely dying.
  5. I've had the same problem with Commandos. Every FP I've done this week, except one, had a Commando healer who wasn't healing. Whenever I checked the gear of the Commando healer they, for some reason, had the wrong equipment on (Willpower, Cunning, Strength), it's ridiculous. I have a Commando healer, it's easy. Most of the time I just have to spam Rapid Fire or whatever it is, and Kolto Bomb.
  6. Oh, didn't know that. Thanks

    Valor Rank Stuck?

I'm a level 25 sniper and my valor is stuck on 25 (maxed). Am I suppose to do something? Does it go up as I level up? I've played a few rounds of PVP and it hasn't increased at all. It does that little symbol thing over my head telling me it's leveled up but it doesn't show in the character panel.
  8. Anyone notice this? I play a Commando DPS/Healer on the server Jedi Covenant. Whenever I queue as a Healer I immediately find a group, whenever I queue as a DPS it either takes an hour or not at all. I've been playing this character for a few weeks now and I have only been in a group with a healer (I was DPS) twice. Do people not like playing a healer in flashpoints? I can see it being frustrating since I've only had a few good groups (tanks kept aggro and dps took out adds), while most groups I'm healing myself because tanks either don't use the right form/cell or dps choose to focus boss rather than get the mobs off the healer.
  9. I can see them giving us something if the servers are down for the rest of the day or for a few days but not for being down a couple of hours. When LOTR servers were down for longer than they said they gave us some turbine points and added a few days to our subs.
  10. I doesn't bother me, but I wouldn't mind a change to it. I've learned not to use it as often in PVP, which has been working lately. I still have the times where 3+ players attack me but I see it as a good thing since they're focused on me rather than the objective. When I do use green beam I'm pretty much jumped immediately, it's far too easy to spot, but you just gotta learn to adapt. Unless they've marked then you, then you're dead no matter what. Sure, as healers, we're the easiest to spot because of the green beam but it's still fun to play.
  11. I've found that it kind of ruined flashpoints, at least for a little while. People level up so quickly that they haven't learned their classes properly so completing higher level flashpoints has been tough, but it also made it more fun at the same time, so not too bad. I do love the double XP, I only play for the class stories, I'm getting sick of running the same planet side quests, so its been more enjoyable.
  12. Well, that sucks. On my server they sell for 140K, though some are priced near one million. I guess people are just willing to pay that sort of money for those crystals on your server, that's why they are priced at that.
  13. Leveled my Jedi Knight Guardian from 36 to 45, which is great. The amount of XP I was getting from warzones was awesome, ranging from 30K to 80K! I can't wait until this happens again!
  14. Oh boy. I wouldn't have mentioned anything about having your child playing this game. Now they'll rip at you about "you won't expose your kid to SGR but you will expose him to violence!". It has happened many times with people being against SGR in the game.
  15. Don't see how being against something automatically gives you a phobia. You do understand what a phobia is, right? Doesn't matter to me either way, I don't do any flirt options or romances. It wouldn't make sense to give the option to every single NPC or companion that is romanceable. Some of the companions just don't make sense and others do. Obviously (more like for legal reasons) they won't actually put someway to have SGR's as an option...not many people or large business's want to be sued for discriminating or be called "politically incorrect" or be diagnosed with a made up phobia.
  16. It just takes a few to ruin the experience of tanking, that's what happened to me. Twice I was told to uninstall the game because I didn't tank well, depsite the fact that they were my first run (which they knew) and one would tell me how the boss fights were and what to expect, so obviously I failed. I have a JK tank that I now turned into a DPS because of these things. I may try tanking again, I do love taking a lot of damage in a fight and surviving.
  17. Well, I just finished my Chapter 1 on my inquisitor storyline, I didn't like it at first but now I love it I have to say that fighting Darth Zash was quite disappointing. I'm a level 30 and she was level 32. Even if we were the same level I was expecting a good fight, it didn't happen. I was able to beat her with Khem not even dropping below 70% (he seems pretty squishy for a tank). Did they nerf the fight or something? It's hilarious that she's stuck in Khem!
  18. These are never ending complaints. PVE players complain about forced PVP. PVP players complain about forced PVE. How about we all just play the game. If you don't like it, leave.
  19. The tank is always blamed no matter what. It's things like that which have made me stop using my tanks in flashpoints anymore, I only PVP with them now.
  20. Don't agree with the Firefly part. Though, after watching The Avengers, my respect for Joss Whedon went down. There were several things that made no sense and the ending was as cheap as heck. All the aliens conveniently die after the main ship or mothership is destroyed, what a rip off that was. Wasn't there a nod to LOTR? When you're talking to Baras on Korriban he says "with this ONE RING". He said it so weird that it just has to be a nod to LOTR, makes no sense to say "with this ONE RING", could have just said "WITH THIS RING".
  21. When I was using my Juggernaut for flashpoints I'd maybe wait 10 minutes tops for a group. Now that I'm playing a Gunslinger, I'm waiting at least 45 minutes and sometimes not even getting a group at all. I love playing Tank, especially Juggernaut Sith Warrior. Whether for PVP or flashpoints. In PVP I was able to distract at least 4 other plays to attack me, and I'd last awhile with all the abilites kicked in, it would give my team a good chance of moving the ball or setting a bomb. Though, the disadvantage is that I'd get little commendations in PVP since all I did was take damage rather than dish it out or attack. I'll probably make a Tank soon. I miss the short waits for flashpoints and being a difficult kill for other players
  22. Oh boy, I have the exact same problem. It's very frustrating, you think you're guy is using an action but isn't, no damage caused to enemy, just cooldown starting.
