  1. Tbh, assault is better when vsing melee. Well that's my opinion at least. I've tried both specs, well I was actually a gunnery commando, switched to assault and never looked back.
  2. It just shows the damage potential of the tree I am using. Furio is a gunnery commando who did significantly lower damage compared to mine (didn't even break 500k eveb with the heal fest) and we do have similar equipments. He's a war hero I'm a conqueror, I am slightly more geared but only by a couple of pieces.

" I like to do 4-5 matches a day just for fun" <- Doesn't seem like you're doing it for fun if you're out here complaining about how you don't get rewarded for being crushed, unless of course what you mean by "Just for fun" is winning and crushing enemies. Plus you only need 1 medal to start getting rewards. 8 medals to get maximum rewards. If you can't get 8 medals in a WZ then too bad.
  9. Are you serious lol?! You're comparing Diablo with MMO's. Hahahaha. P.S. D3 is from blizzard so.... it's definitely more popular than those 2 games you've mentioned.
  10. Right now in our server we know who the best Republic PvP Guild is and we know who the best Imp Guild is. We would vs each other throughout the day but most of the time we get stuck with vsing pugs or teaming up with bad pugs against our best counterpart or vise versa. 8v8 Ranked Premade PvP's would be awesome for Real PvPers as it brings out greater challenge than just pub stomping normal WZ's everyday. If it's Cross Server that'd be even better cause then we'd be able to face people we aren't familiar with but we know could possibly bring up a challenge. Players would start to recognize other good players from other servers. Servers would also gain popularity/reputation which could possibly attract current non-pvpers to strive and earn a spot from the best guilds of their current servers or they could reroll to a server where them and the leading guilds have more in common and create a better harmony between each other to hopefully form a new line up for competitive PvP. It's just something for competitive players and just another option for end-game.

  14. Thank you for your input. I assure you though high-end PvP is nowhere near the level 10-49 tier PvP. It's just a whole different story when premades battles premades.
  15. Don't give them a visible target to leap to you say. Well I wish a player could push his team mate off platforms then the problem with inexperienced players is solved. What buffs and nerfs are you talking about? We're talking about possibly changing the actual gameplay for the ball carrier and the ball carrier alone. Nobody gets nerfed or buffed.
  16. Choices are : 1. Alderaan Civil War 2. The Voidstar 3. Huttball 4. Novare Coast I'd say my favourite WZ Map right now is Novare Coast. Well maybe because we almost always finish it a little quicker than the other WZ.
  17. This is obviously not high end PvP. Because in high end pvp, each match is different. Lots of strategies are being shuffled upon landing in the warzone. Which is also why all servers are readying their line ups for rated PvP when it comes out.
  18. Situation 1: Ball carrier is a leaper on the last fire hazard before goal line. He gets knocked back but then could instantly leap back to where he was just at. It's that easy. Situation 2: Ball carrier is a non leaper on the last fire hazard before goal line. He gets knocked back, now if there are no team mates anywhere near where he was just at then that's another 30 secs of walking while being shot at to get back to where he was just at. End of story. There's the beef.
  19. Which is exactly the point, Huttball is the only warzone wherein it's obvious that Composition trumps Player Skills.
  20. A poor analogy indeed. Your statement just proves that composition does trump player skills. You're instantly branding leapers as the Messi of the huttball match because they have the skill to score with ease. And sages being the Ozil or Iniesta. The rest of the team which are troopers and smugglers are branded as Maicon or Pique and possibly a Casillas.
  21. Lots of people are missing the point. I never said HUTTBALL was unplayable or is too hard for other classes. HUTTBALL was designed as a warzone of many obstacles. However some classes are just able to bypass all these obstacles making the whole warzone seem like nothing but a flat plain to them which then trumps the whole design of the warzone. This warzone could be won in 3 minutes or even less. A single play could be done in less than 30 seconds which results to a score. It does take decent players to do this however, even the most decent opponents would find it extremely hard to stop them. I have a shadow and Huttball is my favorite when I'm playing my shadow. It's just too easy for me, I get into position at the right place at the right time and there's no stopping me or I'm going to be too quick, gone and about to score before the opposing team could even make a move.

  23. This is coming from an Assassin who could pretty much go through only 1 fire hazard from the midpoint and score in huttball. And please sir do explain and justify the last part of your post.

I'm interested on knowing what your valour rank actually really is right now just so I know I'm talking to someone whom I could have constructive discussions with about PvP rather than receiving what seems to be more of contradictions about everything I say from this thread and another separate thread. Because so far you haven't provided any answers to the thread starters post apart from the obvious "DYING" thing which of course resets everything.
