Ok, maybe that was in bad taste, but it was funny to me. I've seen Merc DPS do GREAT in end game PvE - but I don't think its a force vs tech user issue. Just added something very simple like an interrupt to the Merc arsenal should help out a great deal

Armormech, Armstech, and Synthweaving make the kits. They are going around 50k for the Mk-6 kit as well on my server (The Fatman). I sell the kits, and alot of my money comes from selling the level 22 augments. As an armormech I can craft, the aim, cunning, shield, and absorption augments. I really dont spend time crafting the purples with the advanced neural augmentators as its too expensive to get the components, although I am leveling up a slicer. Also, Underwater Trading makes me a ton of credits. I typically am constantly running 1 or 2 purple 340 UT missions. I buy 5-7 at a time. Then, of course, sell off the Mandalorian Iron, and Denebrium Silk. The competition is pretty fierce on the augments, but the UT metals - particularly the Level 5 purple Promethium - don't have too many other people selling.

Just to clarify a bit, you DONT get augment schematics from your trainer - - They come from Slicing Missions and can be bought on the GTN for really cheap actually. But the other info is very good.

No, you can use the gear for any amount of alts you have, if you crit on the missions for the kits.

He's probably talking about Shield Rating, Defense Rating, or Absorption Rating.

Yep im done with my class story and it says the same thing. Its an "interlude" for things to come. I think it also serves as an introduction to operations and end game flashpoints. I also killed Tormen even though i was total dark side most of the game

Yes but not if you already have learned all the purples from that particular blue item. When you RE there is a percentage that says for a new schematic it will be a 20% chance, sometimes a 10% chance, and if you cant learn anything, it will say, no research available.

Why did you buy the Mk-5 again? Also Biochem has a TON of advantages that my main BH armormech does not have - access to reusable consumables, adrenals, etc. You may want to consider playing an alt for awhile and leveling another crafting profession while enjoying another class story. You understand the basics of economics don't you? The sellers on the GTN pick the price of an item, not Bioware. To illustrate - - - I craft level 22 blue augments - - A few days ago, the blue Reflex Augment 22's were going for around 9500 on the GTN. So I crafted 3 blues and looked at the GTN and there were NO blue Reflex 22 Augments - sooooo . . . I CHOSE the price - - and you know what I set the price at?? 35,000. And people still bought the augment. Also, 400k people didn't unsub because of the price of augmentation kits - - what would you have BW do? Not create anything new for end game crafters to craft? Remain at the status quo because it suits you better? If you don't like new content and change (albeit all the changes are not always for the better) maybe you shouldn't be playing an MMO.

Well, that being said, you should be able to solve a technical issue regarding the game. A few days ago after downloading the latest patch my anti-virus flagged and quarantined the execute file to SWTOR. I wasnt aware at the time that it was a false positive. By the time I did find out, I couldnt restore the file and I subsequently erased it. So I changed setting on my AV to allow the game and went to find out how to get another copy of the EXE file. I poked around with running setup again and did a few other things to no avail - - i sent a message to customer support and ten mins later got a response that directly correlated to my issue - - and boom - - - problem solved. Thats just my experience, maybe I got lucky, maybe some guy was at the desk at that time and saw my letter come in - - I dont know -- - - but personally, I've always been treated promptly by them. Maybe the forum community could help you out as well. But if they are giving you the cold shoulder that is unfortunate from a customer service point of view.

Agreed. I'm new to running Op's, I mostly PvP, but I do learn fast. That said, last night I queued up for Story Mode EV. After a half hour it popped and there were 3 of us who had never done it before. All it took was a few minutes extra time to explain the strategy of the boss fight mechanics, etc. We did die twice, once in the lava room and once on Soa - - but it was a great experience. I told the 2 players helping out thanks quite a few times - - i really did appreciate the assistance - So next time if someone comes along and has never done EV before, I'd be happy to help him/her out, because someone did it for me. Oh yea, and we were communicating the old fashioned way, through operations text.

Do you mean game changing suggestions? Or customer service issues? I've had my customer service issues responded to very quickly . . . once in less than 10 minutes. But as far as game suggestions, this is where you would want to start. They actually do read these posts.

As it happens Windows does not have an option to disable that feature. You will have to download a third party driver to disable the shortcut. You cant get to max gear and level 50 in a couple weeks to compete in ranked WZ's unless you have no life, shoot meth all day, and play continuously 24 hours at a time - Quit it - By the time everyone who rolled a PT get to 50 status, Im doubtful there are many, there will be another class people will whine and cry about - -

I've become rich from Armormech and this was before 1.3 Also, instead of moddable oranges i use blue and purple armor from RE'ing. I've sold blue and purples for thousands and thousands of dollars and always had the top gear for my level. Armormech creates ALL your armor - no need for oranges - then sell the blues or purples on the GTN and rake in the cash - -

The above request about repairing equipment is a great one. By default i think your primary blaster attack is put in slot 1 of your Quickbar 1. So you could probably push the number 1 - or click the icon to use that attack. You may have by accident clicked and went to page 2 of your Quickbar but if you did that you would not see any of your abilities' icons in the lower middle part of the screen. Also, your primary attack does not generate any heat (your ammo source) so you should be able to use that attack infinitely without any problems. MAke sure you have it equipped and check your Quickbar at the bottom of the screen . . . . . . best of luck,

Im not even level 50 but 400 armor mech and i posted about 20 items on the GTN then logged out and played an alt sentinal for 2 days - i went back today and- and ALL of the items sold - i made well over 350 thousand and NONE OF THOSE ITEMS WERE AUGMENT RELATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is an economy, iT IS working - - - - - -- geez, what the hell is wrong with the people that play this game and keep ************ all the time This is why i barely look at these stupid forums - if you are aggravated with the game, quit playing the goddam thing, you ARENT chained to this game - go play crappy D3 or whatever, just relax and have fun. Yea Im pretty sure there are a bunch of new orange schematics for armormech and synthweaving that they added to Underworld Trading. I read up on everything 1.3 would add - - So I would assume they probably add to other crew skills as well.

I just read 5 pages of this to not find out what damn class it is??? Wow I must really be bored - It's a video game - if I am put in a situation where I don't like what my character HAS to do - (this is a game, and games are written by programmers, who more or less are the Gods of the video game universe) I get on with it and realize there is nothing I can do about it. Also, if you are reading a book and your favorite character does something monstrous do you stop reading the book? You ARE NOT your character - even if you role play - its called role play for a reason - just do the quest, forget it and have fun again. Besides, the choices you CAN make in the game don't have any real effect on the game as a whole anyways.

Less Huttball, I want more!! I think it takes generic run of the mill PvP, and takes it up a notch requiring more communication, more teamwork then I've seen before. Not to say the map could not be improved, because it certainly could, but there is a ton of potential with Huttball. Its by far my favorite Warzone.
