  1. The event just started a FEW hours ago - - and people are already complaining about the rewards, the quests. I'm sure they will implement more quests as the event moves forward, and more rewards or whatever. It should be pretty cool, It would be awesome to have to go to EVERY planet and search for items, but prly not gonna happen if its not only for level 50's. But atleast its something different, I'm about to log back on now - - have fun
  2. I've also gotten a couple from critting on the Slicing 340 purple missions that I bought from the GTN. Also once on a Rich Level 5 UT mission, critting of course.
  3. Ok, what song is that? - - it's fantastic Edit:: Nevermind i see it
  4. Its a RNG, no its probably not broken at all. Also the +2 is only 2 percent. It's really, really minimal. So that means on average of 100 runs, Scorpio will crit, on average 2 more times than the ship droid . . . . . . . thats it.
  5. Yes the max is eight. And if I'm stuck defending a node on my sorc healer, hell yea ill hit consumption a few times and heal myself. But I definitely contribute to the game and only do it because im bored. I can get the 8 medals easily by just doing what i do best - - - kicking some pub a**
  6. I laughed out loud numerous times during reading that. Completely on point and correct. Classic.
  7. Yea, the above poster is correct. I can't count how many times I'll just randomly choose another player to see their gear, and I find that they have greens, or even worse, arent using a relic or two implants. There is also a skill perk that when 3 points are put into it will bump your endurance by 3%, but honestly its pretty minimal. One more thing, if you can afford it, make sure you are using a stim from a vendor at all times to increase either your aim or your endurance. I think at level 24 you can use the ones that increase that stat by 32. I ALWAYS use stims, no matter the level - - - The presense ones work really good as well
  8. I hope we are playing the same game. Biometric crystal alloy sells for about 20-25k, I havent seen it as high as you say in months. Of course, prices will vary from server to server. The point about gathering goods in the open world is a good one I really didnt take into account. I dont know, I guess I just enjoy making more money than most people and helping out my guild with creds when I can.
  9. You're not understanding. Competition is a good thing. But when someone will put an item up on the GTN that costs significantly less than the materials used to craft it I can only shake my head at their complete lack of economical understanding. The point is they ARE NOT making a profit. If I own a restaurant and I sell my sandwiches for LESS than the cost of buying my ingredients from the wholesaler than I'm either a terrible businessman, or stupid. Oh, and yes I use the GTN for all of my money making. Dailies for cash? Don't make me laugh, I can make way more credits using the GTN than traveling to the BH, Belsavis, and Ilum everyday. I feel bad for the players that actually have to do that on a daily basis so they can buy their stims or whatever else.
  10. You do know that people would buy it if you listed it 1 credit lower right?? Im betting you've missed out on hundreds of thousands of credits this way, but its your game have fun with all the money you should be making but arent.
  11. I agree with the section for companion gifts and sorting items by primary stat. Although if you know the gift you want you can enter the first few letters in the search criteria and ALL of that gift will come up. For the search to work you only have to enter the first 3 letters of the item search for. One thing I disagree with is having the default price set as 1 lower than the lowest price. Now, I'm all for people making money as much as the next guy, but I put a lot of time into crafting or surfing the GTN to see whats in demand, etc. but I think having the default price one lower would take some of the challenge away of trying to play the market. People would just throw everything up there and not look up prices. And the ones that dont look up prices and put something up there a lot cheaper than it should be, if I catch it, I buy it and resell. If someone else buys it, oh well - but they could have definitely made more money if they would have took the time and researched the product beforehand.
  12. Hmmmm, I'd like to know this as well. Although just guessing, I'm gonna say that expertise probably does not affect companion's stats.
  13. I really do not see what the fuss is all about. I have Armormech/UT on my main and Cyber on an alt, and I have stockpiles of blue and purple level metals in my cargo hold. It is not broken, the metals are MEANT to be rare. Especially the purples. And guess what! They are rare so they are going to be expensive. I just dont understand all the whining. Although, I'm prly a little biased because I've made millions of selling UT metals on the GTN.
  14. I'm wondering if any other Pyros out there put 1 point in Combust from the Shield Tech Tree. If not, I def recommend it. Basically it makes Flame Burst and Flame Sweep,( not that I use Flame Sweep) combust the target, lowering its damage dealt by 2.5% for 15 seconds. The key isnt the reduction in damage, but now Flame Burst will combust the target giving you the chance for getting your PPA off, and with superheated rail you will lose 8 heat with the railshot. I can pretty much take IM out of my rotation except when i am at 30 or so meters. So instead of opening up with the heat intensive IM If I'm within 10 meters I'll open up with either TD or FB, but now FB gives me my chance for the free RS and since the target is already taking damage I can get the railshot off without having to use IM. Just a thought, but it works extremely well for me. Your thoughts???
  15. Man I can't wait to meet you in a Warzone Keyboard turning LOL
  16. This happens to me all the time with items such as Neuranium, Mandalorian Iron, and Augments. I think people DO NOT look at what the items are going for, and just put it up there for a random amount. It irritates me to no end. And if they do know what they are doing and post it 4 or 5k below the listed prices, they are plain stupid and are losing credits that would otherwise be gained. Because guess what, it doesnt matter if you undercut an item by 5 credits or 5 thousand the person buying will always take the cheapest item, so this person potentially just missed out on a bunch of credits that could add up to hundreds of thousands in a short period of time. So, it goes back to my statment that they are completely stupid. Who lists items BELOW the cost to produce them? - idiots do.
  17. Is it terrible that i found this funny as hell? This is exactly why I stopped drinking a year ago.
  18. Sadly you cannot return to the planet you were on. I think this is a great idea for convenience and could be easily implemented in the games code. Nothing worse than completing Battle of Ilum and having to meander my way back to wherever i was in the immediate galaxy. The thing is, you return to the same spot after WZ's, so why not with the group finder as well. /signed - great idea.
  19. As far as I understand, and i remember reading a quote somewhere, the legacy crafting perk ONLY effects critical success on crafting. Not missions, or gathering. Companion bonuses definitely help out so I recommend that for sure. The thing is, because getting an augmented result doesn't really matter that much anymore due to augmentation kits, but when you craft an augment and crit you get two.
  20. This is from 1.2 - but if you scroll down, it tells you exactly how many credits you get from each daily, what the reward is, the name of the quest, etc. Hope this helps. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=409021&highlight=dailies
  21. /signed - Great idea - especially when i switch from Dps when i Pvp, to Tank when i PvE - it tends to get WAY expensive.
