  2. Georg can you consider sharing your thoughts on the changes made to scrappers? I think the healing buffs were well deserved, and I understand that you have definitive data that suggests scrappers are too good in its current state, I'd just like to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
  3. Yeah I cancelled. Funny thing is after reading the 1.2 patch notes I actually felt good about unsubbing. I think the timing is right, and I have no regrets because the latest update were just so bad; and in the mmo habitat swtor is slowly following in the footsteps of....well everyone else. Overall I think SWTOR was a good game with a real potential to be better, which could still happen. Maybe I'll regret unsubbing. Maybe Georg will play the game and actively explore the changes himself. Maybe I'll just buy Diablo 3 and forget all about SWTOR.

  5. Is that how you play you scoundrel in the world of make believe? In the real world it's more like this: Shoot first, set up for back blast but oh noes condition not met. Get lightning spammed by 3 sorcs. Move a little to the left and hit back blast, condition not met, then die.

  7. I had fun, but I told myself 1.2 was make it or break it for me; I just cancelled my subscription. I guess now I can focus more on school so I think it's probably for the better. Anyone else cancelled or thinking of cancelling, or do you guys have plans to stick around? Whatever the case may be I wish everyone the best and I hope these changes get revamped in our favor in the near future.
  8. I thought the class was bad too, but the more I played the more I realized that if you learn to play this ac properly it's devastating in pvp. I don't know why people think scoundrels are bad, but as far as I can tell it's really good at pve and pvp. I'm going to lawl when they release combat logs and people see that us scoundrels are the highest melee dps.
  9. Scoundrels rock and are very fun for both PVE and PVP.

  11. I just got Shoot First tonight and it really does make a huge difference. However levels 10-35 should have something, perhaps a gap closer. I can wish right?
  12. I agree there is no dps parse, but as far as I can tell most people on my server consider a scrapper to be a burden. It's assumed our dps is low, bursty, and relies on specific positions for certain attacks where other melee do not. I'm rolling a gunslinger right now. I'll still like my scoundrel alot and I'll still play him, but to say his dps is low is just ridiculous without meters to prove it. Hopefully I can do something with him in the near future, but it's not looking good atm.
  13. If you put heat on a healer and make him heal himself instead of his teammates, or better yet make him run away then I'd say you won that encounter regardless of whether or not you killed him.

  15. This ac is just bad atm. I'm sure it does get fun at level 36, which is just retarded, but there are various other classes that get to be fun from the get go such as a gunslinger. Way more fun than a scoundrel simply because you don't have to wait 36-40 levels to get your key ability. I hope 1.2 brings new change to this ac.
  16. Honestly my problem with this class is levels 1-35 are just horrible. I'm not sure what other scoundrels do to get through this, but i'm certain it's not having fun. No one plays this ac because it's hard as hell to be effective. It's based on directional attacks, no gap closer, and it's the ONLY class that doesn't get to be fun until you're almost 50. Trying to shoot someone in the back in a WZ is a nightmare. You target the guy, sneak behind him, shoot BUT oh wait he reappeared on the other side of the map because of the god awful lag and you get knocked out of cover by one of the 5 sorcs on the imp team, and then annihilated. I don't need a dps parse to tell me scoundrels suck in WZ. If you want to be effective in a wz as a scoundrel you really need to think about speccing heals, in which case is laughably bad until level 36 (Is that crazy or what?!). "Scoundrels aren't broken they just don't good until about level 40." Not broken my ***. Who wants to play a class that doesn't get fun until level 36-40? I'm not saying we should make scoundrels op but c'mon give us a fighting chance ffs.
  17. Yeah if you're going to play a stealth class roll a shadow. The Scoundrel is just simply broken until level 40, and then it becomes viable but still inferior to what a shadow can bring to a wz or raid. Keep in mind you will not feel like a real ac until level 40, healing or dps, how stupid is that? At any rate, 1.2 is make it or break it for me. If scoundrels continue to suck I'm probably just going to unsub.
  18. I'm in the same boat. If 1.2 doesn't present any kind of buff to the scoundrel I'm out. I don't know how this class played in Beta, but as of now it's bad; border lined broken bad. I have faith that BW will fix this ac though, however only time will tell.
  19. Thanks for the compliments. This was used in a final for the school i go to, and i think i might use it in my portfolio as well.
  20. I'm happy you guys like this, it was a lot of work. I'm going to make either an x-wing or a walker next. I'll make sure to post it in the fan art when I'm finished.
