  1. No you cannot do either, which I found to be extreme BS after buying a "guild bank access" unlock while I was preferred during a sub lapse, sure it lets you access the bank, but they forget to mention you cant do anything with credits in the bank.
  2. Theres a difference between "hacking" and "exploiting".... 99% of really odd things you see are exploits and are eventually fixed (bolster exploit, scamper over shields) I do have a question though, I've only seen this happen a few times, but I have always been 1 on 1 with a specific sorc... and we all know sorcs have no stealth... who will be losing (I am also a sorc) and suddenly "fall" through floor be untargetable for a while then suddenly pop back up through the floor healed back up. Now 1, every time this happened it was in Huttball against the same Sorc 1 v 1... 2, they always ran over to the wall close to the medpac before they fell through floor... 3, the first time I gave it the benefit of a graphics glitch or lag, after that it was obviously an exploit. Any answers for that one? Oh and no they didn't get stealthed by someone else because my toon stayed locked on them and showed them targeted under the floor with him looking down at them, but getting a message about not able to see target.
  3. Pretty sure I didn't have an argument.. I had a point that a sage healer can boost their HPS using their AOE heals on EIGHT people at one time can and does inflate their numbers to make it look like they did some magical single target heals that saved everyone on his team from dying... learn to read, my point had nothing to do with the rest of his team or what they were doing.
  4. So wait youre basing your argument on the fact that the healer had more HPS than the DPS had DPS.... that doesn't mean squat, a sage healer especially can heal EIGHT people at one time with their AOE heal, which will inflate their numbers significantly.... next argument please because this one is invalid.
  5. LMAO.... actually the 3 herp a derps standing there are doing EXACTLY what the sorc/sage wants them to do... focus 3 guys on 1 guy for 10 seconds when they cant even touch him... brilliant. I use this tactic a lot, and live to laugh at the tards who just stood there... why?... because all my heals are off CD even if I'm DPS specc I have my instant heal, a wz medpac, a wz adrenal, and a fresh bubble. See how that works Sure sometimes youre gonna die anyway, but taking three people out of an objective based battle for 1 guy is a win any day.
  6. To answer your original inquiry... yes in PvP gear inside a WZ you get bolstered stats... why you ask? Because people in 69 and 72 pve gear would have much higher stats than people in pvp gear... so youre basically complaining about them giving you free stats to make sure your pvp gear is better than someone in pve gear lol.
  7. So... click the lock to "unlock" and "relock" again and it works again.... not that difficult really. I do agree that its annoying and should be fixed by now, but it doesn't really warrant a novel about it IMHO lol.
  8. 200 damage as in 200? not 200 K? lol... sounds like a serious case of L2P my friend, I have done over 900 K on my sorc several times and usually average around 500 K plus in partisan gear.
  9. I've got 4 words for you.... welcome to the internet.
  10. /sarcasmsigned I don't like bolster, I want to be able to faceroll people who don't have the same gear as me because that's fair and balanced player versus player gameplay that shows my skill is superior to theirs because my expertise gear made me win, which means I'm awesome and will call that person a noob and laugh at them for their terrible skill even though they used the exact same rotation and attacks that I did.
  11. Yes its from the player not the droid itself... but the green light on the ring around you is a 180 degree arc unless you have the little seeker droid boost... meaning that the item it detects could be anywhere in a 180 degree arc in the direction of the green semi circle, ie right next you on either side or right in front of you. The best way to find whats been 'detected' nearby is to triangulate it by moving to where you just scanned if its not there, then the scanner circle will recalculate your new position and show you if you went to far or the wrong way.
  12. You're definitely not "forced" to go into pvp areas... theres ONE seeker droid area in a pvp zone and its the one on Tatooine, which by the way Tatooine has 3 total seeker droids areas, so just don't go into the pvp zone and instead search the other 2 areas, problem solved.
  13. Obvious troll is obvious.... the guy is complaining about a legitimate exploit, someone being able to jump over a forcefield when they are not supposed to be able to and all you do is troll him about needing Kleenexes and saying he and his guild cant PvP.... very constructive discussions you're adding to the thread:rolleyes:
  14. The premise of PvP isn't supposed to be who has better gear to kill the other guy with... the whole idea of it should be to work as a team and DO THE F'ING OBJECTIVES... but alas people are all "I want the best gear so I can pretend I am awesome, but WAHHHH now other people have the same expertise rating as me and I suck" QQ some more, PvP should NEVER HAVE BEEN about gear, it should be about OBJECTIVES--- you know those things that make you win the Warzone:rolleyes: Now admittedly bolster is screwed up at the moment, but removing it completely in 55 PvP would put the whole thing right back at square one... people who don't usually PvP would quit playing again because SURPRISE, getting your face kicked in and losing not because the other guys are better but because they have 2000 expertise and you have 0 is dumb. Then all the "Career PvPers" as you people keep claiming to be would be whining that you never get any matches again, all just so you can go around swinging your epeen like you did something special winning based not on skill, teamwork, or objective gameplay... but expertise gear. So looking at what I said there and the comments in this thread it seems that the people complaining don't want fair and balanced objective PvP matches based on skill and teamwork... oh no my friends, we just all want to have better gear than the other guy so we can deathmatch it up in huttball and pretend like the 900 K damage I did while never once helping the team with scoring made us win, to quote Charlie Sheen--- winning:rolleyes:
  15. Yeah I don't pay money for this MMO so I can dress my guy up like the SIMS or give him a haircut and change his race (seriously just choose the right one to start with).... I play it to, oh you know, do some game content with other people.
  16. 1. No one wants a lazy teammate standing there being dead weight... let them leave. 2. You get kicked often enough because of crappy connections that many people would be penalized for nothing. 3. They should fix plenty of ACTUAL issues with PvP before they start making even less people want to play.
  17. Yes the link you posted is for the Ilum dailys... not the Gree Event... however you can start doing Ilum dailys at level 47 now, no need to do class missions or be level 50 anymore. They give aound 11 K each, plus whatever loot you get from mobs... usually around 100K to 150 K total.
  18. Honestly when leveling its hardly a big deal over loot unless its your first toon.... experienced players with alts have the crafters and funds to gear their toons without loot from LFG. That being said, if you're going to roll need for a companion, just take 2 seconds to ask if anyone else needs the item, if they say no then roll away... if you see someone who rolls need and they are the class for the item and you roll need for your companion, yeah that's bad form.
  19. The Ilum dailys themselves are separate from the Gree Event dailys that are also on Ilum... so they are always available. Depending on your gear, your companions gear, and your skill, you can expect them to take 30 -45 minutes give or take. Their are also dailys on several other planets... Section X... Black Hole... Belsavis.... which all give you daily comms and fairly substantial credits. Each set of dailys takes different amounts of time to complete ranging from 15 minutes to 1 hour or more. Hope that helps.
  20. It happens with the majority of speeders.... dont hold your breath for a fix considering its been that way since day 1.
  21. Yes I actually finished Chapter 2 at level 36 on my Operative... had a buddy help me with the final "boss" fight of Chapter 2 and boom, buff unlocked
  22. I believe its actually "Collector's Edition" not Collection Edition
  23. You dont need to get to 45 to unlock the class buff.... You can do it at 36 or 37 (may need a buddy to help with the last fight) because all you need to do for the buff is finish Chapter 2, which is immediately after Hoth.
  24. Warzones are definitely not the fastest way from my personal experience... You have to wait around for queue pops for starters and you get less EXP from 1 warzone than you do from a single mission turn in on a planet that can be done much quicker (not to mention you get EXP from the enemies you killed doing the mission) I would say do some Planet/Class missions while Queued for Flashpoints.... Flashpoints not only get you geared with nice stuff quickly, but offer massive EXP from the enemies, the completion, and the respective daily. Going this route will maximize the EXP you are able to get, as you will be doing big EXP missions while waiting for big EXP flashpoints. Thats what I would recommend from my experience... oh and try to stay LOWER level than whatever missions you are running or you are getting less experience per kill and per turn in.
  25. Thats why you dont use TK in PvP..... I rock out 300 - 500 K DPS and 100 - 150 K self heals in a single match on a very regular basis with my Sage and my Sorc. First off get the 2 piece set bonus to get the self heals from mind crush / crushing darkness to keep your butt alive, secondly specc into Balance / Madness tree to start racking up major DPS. You'll want the AOE boost from the healing tree, so thats around 7 or 8 points to max that out, 3 points in the middle tree for maxing mind crush / crushing darkness, and the rest in the Balance / Madness tree to get the top Ability which is a DOT with a root built in for keeping those pesky melee off you. Lastly... rotation wise is a breeze... drop the big AOE (FIB) for the bonus to DOTs, cast the 2 instant DOTs with the bonus now on them, use recklessness if its off CD and spam pebbles or lightning until you proc instant cast of mind crush / crushing darkness, and if you see a crowd drop the channeled forcequake / lightning AOE on them. Rinse, CD, repeat, win (Obviously throw in some self heals, bubbles, sprint, stuns as needed) Congratulations, you now have a sweet support DPS class that can also solo several other classes if played correctly.
