I'm kind of torn. I have been using elim set and I am happy with it. I'm just starting to get BM gear now. I almost want to get combat tech BM set because I can use it in either spec. When dual spec comes that means I can play tactics some time if I am feeling saucy. Elimintor set would be totally worthless in tactics.

If you are unable to fully piano your hand and keybind everything. A hybrid style can more or less lower your disadvantage. Even as much as using 1-5 as your attacks and licking everything else and using mouse to move would be a big jump over clicking everything. Edit - Licking = Clicking...unless you prefer the former.

I have a hybrid style. I keep a few less often used/big cooldown abilities off to the side that I will click. I click pots as well. Attacks and common skills in combat I use are keybound though. So I guess I am a partial clicker.

The ability is pretty herp derp. 5 seconds against a dps class is an eternity. Not sure how to balance it.

My reward is when my opponents team poops their pants when they see they are facing my guild.

So people enter war zones to not play the war zone to get gear faster? To eventually...queue for war zones and not play those either I guess?

This is very true. My experience is the same. If you want to know why the Tank is beating you on the damage at the end of the WZ it is because of the passive DoTs that tick and refresh all match.

I hope they nerf assault for my vanguard. I've wanted to give tactics a try. If they do I just hope they let me trade my champion eliminator set for combat tech set.

If Vanguards and PT's are OP then they are by far the least *****ed about OP class to have ever existed in an MMO ever.

It just said Bounty Hunters did it not? More likely referring to tracer missile if you go by all the whining on the forums.

I always have at least 1 dot, usually 2 and they still disappear and it wont break stealth.

I'll speak about what I know. I play a Vanguard and I am usually somewhere near the top of the damage charts. It comes down to 2 simple things really. I am partially ranged, one of which is a ranged low damage long duration DoT. There is never a GCD when I am not hitting someone. Second, I have a passive DoT that is applied to my attacks. I also have talents that refresh them. I have DoTs ticking like crazy all WZ. That is where the numbers come from. There are times I will be at the top of the WZ in damage with 400k, the next person on my team has 300k. The difference is I had 10kb's and he had 17. That is a better indicator. It is mostly fluff and smoke and mirrors.

What is the problem. Mercs aren't overpowered. So what if they spam 1 ability? Why does anyone else care so much. If anything it should be the Mercs pissing and moaning because the limited aspect of the class bottlenecks their ability to outplay opponents.

Yeah but my cunning is so low base. I got a few cunning datacrons and my bonuses from it barely moved. I don't have a load of time to play so I am trying to get as few datacrons as I need.

I got champ gloves in my 17th bag. Since I've opened about 10 more and none yet. Weeklies reset today so we will see how that goes.

Thanks Just trying to figure out which datacrons I can skip. Seems like cunning isn't worth the effort.

Dumb question I know. Is it strength? It is a melee ability.

Every time a sorc pushes me back or knocks me down I stay down permanently. It is very annoying and I have to leave the warzone. That was my 4th wz in a row I was stuck on the ground.

And they can. It is really not bad at all.

I'm sure there is a lot more to this story than we are getting. I'm sure that act didn't cause the issue. Probably their trash talking.
