To me it's dead. At peak times the rep fleet on my server was filled with 20 people max. This lead to too few PVP buddies, imp battlemasters vs. fresh rep 50's. Losing WZ's all day every day. Less people on the fleet. I cancelled my sub and know other reps have done the same. I can't generalize and I only know what I see... without knowing actual numbers I can't verify it's dying but at least count me out.

lvl 50 pvp rant. Vanguard in centurion/champ gear Our server is really light, we dont have enough pvp people to huttball against republicans. Because the server is light we fight the same imps EVERY warzone. They are a group of the same battlemaster premades that I see EVERY game They are all max gear against no battlemasters and win 97% of the games. I can't even finish a weekly in under a week. And now more people are leaving! Meaning even fewer republicans to pvp with!

lol, no you can't I know gearing up isn't super difficult. I've got mostly centurion gear. I'm just not having fun, hence I quit.

I just cancelled my subscription 10-49 pvp was really enjoyable, I had many awesome huttball moments as vanguard. The moment I dinged 50 it became horrible. Ilum sucks and warzones suck because I am up against imp battlemasters. I know I have to gear up to be able to be better, but to me it is about having fun. I’m not having fun getting defeated game after game not because of skill difference but because of gear, I don’t want to gear up having to scout crate after crate to get the daily/weekly. I was busy with 150 crates this weekend and my wife asked what I was doing. Yeah… uhm… I’m picking up armanents to get better gear. Am I having fun, no! Yes L2P. I guard stuff and taunt the hell out of everbody to prevent damage, I’m not useless but that still won’t overcome the gross imbalance that is imp vs republicans. I feel the company should have spend more resources thinking pvp through then commit so much to VA and all those planets I never visit anymore. I suspect that more and more people will quit if nothing will get done about it. I see absolutely no reason anyone can enjoy lvl 50 pvp at the moment. Even the imps must see the decline of republicans to play against. The funny thing is I still have 27 days left on the subscription I'll be back when improvements are made.

Interesting to see the replies. Me, the original poster, has not yet given up hope yet. I have done the weekly (grinding 150 crates, who the #$%&*$% hell designed this?!) Now I have 2 champ items and 5 centurions with 302 expertise. Q's aren't firing at the moment but we'll see. Still the overall feeling I get is that it's severly lacking in the fun department. Oh, and healers suck and are OP

So here I ding 50, i've read all the drama on these boards thinking it can't be that bad. I pvp'ed pre 50 to 40 valor, saved up on commendations to open 6 champ bags upon 50. I opened the centurion and champ commendations that allowed me to buy 2 centurion items and 1 champ. I did a couple of warzones and it's absolutely horrible. I die so fast and I hardly make a dent damage wise (i'm a vanguard running taugrims iron fist spec). Healers prevent me from killing anybody.So I travel to ilum... nobody is there and I resort to picking up 30 armanents for a daily, wow that was fun... driving circles in the center waiting for a chest to spawn. I really liked the pvp game pre 50... but knowing how it'll end up has really dampened my spirits for this game. Sure I could roll a new char but eventually It'll jus head to the inevitable. About the only thing keeping me in the game is thinking maybe that with some more pieces of pvp gear it'll make a big difference. I really don't want to be one of those cry babies that wines on boards that he'll cancel his sub. But god the pvp experience i'm having now just isn't fun. And I play games to have fun!

Never had a single crash with swtor before, now i'm crashing all over the place. Way to gimp on the 1st big update

I just want to post to say how much fun i'm having with my vanguard, i'm at lvl 21 atm. I play tank but 1st i went to talent gut and now i've switched to shield talents. Yesterday i PUGged 2 flashpoints and it was fantastic. I just love the way it combines heavy armor with still good dps.
