What is best: Getting the 30 days or pissing everybody else off?

"Not getting something for free" = "A slap in the face" We've come a long way.

I think most people are not really offended, they are just plain greedy, trying to blackmail BioWare into giving them a free month.

I think the whining is an indication of the game's succes, with a little luck and hard work BioWare will be able to achieve the same level of whining as Blizzard did.

Then act like it.

BioWare: Is there some kind of charity program where players like me can donate a free month to other players, who have developed an inferiority complex, due to these recent events?

It would be somewhat funny if BioWare decided to simply cancel the free 30 days for the level 50s, instead of rewarding all the people whining and quitting.

This is why we can't have nice things.

I guess loyal means being willing to quit for a good word.

I don't qualify for the free 30 days, but I'd like to say thanks for the pet and 1.2 anyway and congratulations to the level 50s. No hard feelings from me.

In wow players had invested 5-6 years in their characters, before all these paid features became available. I can't imagine this will be a priority for Bioware in year one.

You have to be within close range of eachother to share xp.

This is actually incorrect. If you search for orange gear you get 500 threads, not 10000. 500 threads is still an overwhelming result. If you search for orange gear thread titles, you get 200 hits. First at searching for orange gear thread titles new player help, you get thirty something. Not everybody visiting these forums are trained librarians or know everything about forum searches and in a hyper active forum such as this, you need to know what to look for and where to look for it. If you can't take answering the same questions over and over, maybe you shouldn't.

Haven't played Reb for a while, but I run the Imp version from level 15. Just make sure you make the best use of your companion in the tricky situations. I guess Ironfist is the most demanding fight, make sure to kill all the adds as quickly as possible. Always kill all adds yourself, while you let your companion take punnishment from the boss. The big droid thing you might want to pull him down away from the ramps, so you or your companion don't acidentally get knocked off the ledge. At the last boss, switch your companion to passive, to move him out of the area attacks if he takes too much damage.

If rerolling is unacceptable and staying is unpalyable, I can only suggest you unsub and wait for merges.

I suggest you roll an alt on a high population server. It's impossible to predict when server merges will come, it could come sooner than expected, but it could take months. I know the idea of starting all over isn't very appealing, but leveling all over gets a little easier and more entertaining, when there are more than +100 players on a planet.

Are you trying to solo heroic areas? Heroic areas are group agreas, where mobs(enemies) are all strong/elites/champions, most of these are very hard or impossible to solo and they will kill any normal player easily and quickly. In pve you should always start a fight with ctrl-1 and make sure Khem is targeting the strongest enemy. While he is beating on the mobs, you should cast your shield on him and heal him if needed, while you kill the weakest mobs. You can also use whirlwind(CC = crowd control) to stun strong mobs for 60 seconds, while you kill others first. Remember that if Khem is fighting close to the stunned mob, he will usually break the stun, because of his area of effect attacks. You can disable his AOE attack in the companion bar, I think it's called "Cleave," if you are in a situation where you use whirlwind alot.
