As a solo player and atlholic, I really miss 6.0
Ghostius replied to Pricia's topic in General Discussion
All weekly heroic and daily areas reward 425 aquatics per week. you can do it twice a week, so it is 850 aquatics. every single daily mission and heroic gives 3 aquatic and 10 tech fragments. if there are 120 missions to be done, thats 360 aquatics. so, in total 850+360=1210 aquatics. 1210 aquatics is enough for upgrading 20 gear slots per week at conquest upgrade vendor. Should be more than enough -

Aquatic currency is reward from every planet heroic, every weekly heroic mission and every weekly daily area. Medals are reward from conquest. You earn both on every alt and its both from solo activities. Both are used to upgrade gear to 326. This is designed for strictly solo players to have upgrade gear path. Solo flashpoints are only useful to learn flashpoint mechanics for playing in harder modes in groups. https://swtorista.com/articles/swtor-level-80-gearing-guide/#Conquest_Solo -

Going solo -only route is just fine, only I dont get why you would be still in 320 gear, when upgrading to 322, 324 and 326 requires only currency from solo activities. -

42 minmaxed alts? Respect If BW didnt reward you with 6 months free sub, they definately should. Or maybe 7 days Hawaii trip and no swtor access during vacation -

Think solo players are doing just fine regarding conquest, think your problem is you play the game too much trying to max gear 34 alts, pretty extreme number of alts. Best thing would to change your habits and adapt to 7.0, they wont be reverting to 6.0 -
Noone is dismissing reddit poll, ofcourse it shows what some people think and it is completly valid. Trouble is sample is too small to be taken seriously on larger scale. On larger scale results could be totally different. Also, people searching for polls and voting are mostly people unhappy with present state and want change. For the same reason, on forums you mostly see negative posts. Happy people dont go to forums or polls.

They certainly do read the feedback, it would be unproffessional not to. They just choose not to always follow it because their vision is different, their priorities are different, their budget is limited. Gaming companies have totally opposite interests than players do, they depend on profit and expenditures, while players dont think about at all. Feedback? My feedback would be more stories, guys next to me wants more ops. Who to listen to? They have resources only for one thing. There is always someone who will be unhappy, always.

It isnt really logical to think devs are in illusion about game focus. I mean, they have the data what players mostly play. It is in their best interest to keep game going to make money off it for shareholders and employees. To make keep game going, they need to focus on content majority play, but also dont neglect lesser played content totally. So, it would be totally ilogical to conclude devs are making content for playerbase which is in minority.

Trouble is story itself can not support MMO for longer time and BW realised that and gone raid/ops route. Story is fine, I like stories ,but it looses steam very fast, since story and cinematics arent really cheap content and MMOs need repeatable content. Just remember Kotfe content and disaster it was, hours of never ending cinematics with just pressing 1 2 or 3 choice. Also, remember SWTOR launch with hundreds of servers, story isnt really what keeps people playing. Overall, story driven games are more suitable for single player games which is proven by SWTOR story being single player experience. I get you like story, but you want KOTOR sequel, not SWTOR.

330er gear in pvp zone better then 326 gear :-(
Ghostius replied to Uebli's topic in General Discussion
Well, the same goes for pver having to pvp (326 purple gear) to be competitive in master OPS. If there is separate pvp stats, noone would have to pve to play pvp or other way around. -
Really glad you are enjoying the game and write this positive post about it. Forum is full of negative posts by veteran players who play too long and every little thing they need to cry about here.

Everyone has an opinion, his, mine and yours could be different. Doesnt mean anyone is right or wrong. It is known as tastes.

Im in the same boat, 326 purple gear and wondering what to do next. Ok, there is weekly gsf on lvl 80 alts for Tech fragments for upgrading implants on main, but thats it. No need for FPs, no need for currencies, no need for credits. If only vet OPS giving 328 gear, it would be fine. Or some kind of heroic FPs woth 328

Easy, it is much cheaper to upscale old content than make new one. Everything is about money.

Which equipment to save and which to trash?
Ghostius replied to RBWTOR's topic in General Discussion
I have one set of purple 326 gear that is exchanced between alts. Each alts works on his own weapons, offhands, tacticals and implants. That one set of 326 is not optimised stats wise, but since I dont do OPS, it doesnt matter for any other content. GSF is a way to go on all alts, since 326 pvp gear requires much less Aquatic currency and gives a lot of tech fragents fir legendary implants. -
Patch notes say players will be more powerfull in h2+ content.

There really needs to be more PVE options to get tech fragments
Ghostius replied to Pricia's topic in General Discussion
Agree, tech frags should be given more from heroics, but imo frags from gsf should be lowered, it is too much.
