  1. So I finally cancelled my subscription. I have been playing Lost Ark since it's launch in the West and will continue to do so for the forseeable future. I haven't looked back to SW:TOR for over a month now and I'm quite happy with this situation now. I usually don't like this type of posts on forums, because it's almost always just a lot of crying over nothing. I'd generally advise everyone to just move on, because publishers and developers are just like any company that wants your money. And best you can do is, vote with your wallet. Having said that, I still wanted to get my reasoning out there, because I really, really loved this game, that I spent over 10 years of my life on, building friendships over it and giving me enjoyment after a hard days work or even cheering me up when I had a rough day. Here's a copy of the notes I sent to Bioware with my sub cancellation:
  2. And yet another thing that gets fixed, that didn't need to be fixed. The loot system worked fine for the past 10 years. Why on earth do you feel the need to fix, what ain't broken!? All arguments have already been made. There are simply quite a few occasions where Master loot system is desperately needed and wanted. And yet, you remove it, without thinking through things. Do you guys desperately want the game to die? You are doing everything to drive the remaining old players away with 7.0.
  3. I'd like to adress the last post, specifically two points that don't make sense at all for me: So, instead of coming up with a new, more impactful utility point tree, you just reduce the available moveset/set of skills in any certain situation. How is this going to be a more fun and enjoyable gameplay!? Why even bother removing what isn't broken, instead of improving what needs fine tuning!? I also highly doubt that this will make balancing more easier for the Devs... There would have been way better solutions to achieve the same goal, especially in PvE, but also in PvP. All in All, if you will follow through with this concept, we will ultimately end up with a dumbed down game. And this is definitely nothing I am looking forward to.
  4. As far as I've experienced, they don't have the same effect. Traumatizer should work as intended (It definitely doesn't allow to put 2 NPCs to sleep, I've tested this), but sometimes shows the incorrect description of Go to sleep.
  5. We definitely need an official answer for that one. This was present on the PTS, too. Is this intentional or a bug? If this is intentional: Doesn't make sense, as it's the same bonus. At all.
  6. Auth-Code via SMS or E-Mail is not very secure. It's better to have it on a seperate device. Or even better a physical device, that is separate from anything else, like the token generator that we got with the collector's edition. Do yourself a favour and install/set-up a OTP app like Google Authenticator or similar ones. (I use LastPass Authenticator) It's more secure and more convenient.
  7. Kaliyo is the greatest companion in the entire game. Her snarkyness is absolutely fabulous. Even better than Scorpio (Before KotFE/ET).
  8. Seems to affect all European servers. I was finally able to get to the server select screen. Logging into US servers works fine, but none of the European servers work for me. I either get a message that "my account isn't allowed to log-in" or it takes forever to load...
  9. Well, yes. And no. The range for the 5% damage reduction is 30m. The 15m are from the 50% damage reduction of Assas/Shadows, so you're technically right, and I was wrong on that one. The threat reduction on the other side has no required range, as far as I know.
  10. So, you are guarding a role that doesn't draw aggro just for a 5% damage reduction that has a range of 15m... GG.
