  1. A lightsaber takes time to cut through metal. It would not be able to cut Superman. Luke's reflexes are fast for a human, but Superman can react at a good percentage of the speed of light. If Luke tried to use the Force, Superman could fry Luke with a wide beam blast of heat vision or freeze him with cold breath, or just slap his hands together and turn Luke to jelly with the shock wave. Or just keep it simple and pound his fist through Luke's chest in a millionth of a second. The Force is a nice trick, but I have not seen it able to completely prevent someone from moving. Heck, Superman could even flick a booger through Luke's skull if his hand was the only thing he could move. People like to throw in kryptonite or red solar radiation. Sorry, but that is not Luke's abilities beating Superman. Luke could not even dream of being in the same class as Superman.
  2. Read it again, Einstein. PS: I never said that I did not like PVP.
  3. Some people just do not get the fact that others do not like PVP and dislike when they have to engage in it just to finish a storyline, especially when it is the only way SWTOR made to get certain items/rewards. The people that do not or cannot understand this are too narrow-minded and inconsiderate of others. If you think that people that do not like PVP are "cry babies", then I suggest you take a dose of maturity and think about what you said. If this hurts your feelings/pride, then tough. As I said, take a dose of maturity.
  4. Oh great, another "currency" to deal with. That's why I quit playing Star Trek Online.
  5. I guess the Empire has not learn the usefulness of hatches yet.
  6. You're kidding, right? Baras would get his Baras handed to him.
  7. I think it is a massive waste of time made up by some kid that wants everything in one mission. If you do not like my answer, then tough. You asked for it.
  8. You accepted it, but cannot accept it if people do not go along with you? Did you forget your previous paragraph? I smell hypocrisy.
  9. Yes, but not from the person you were hoping for.
  10. It has been getting really bad since F2P, which most of us knew would happen.
  11. If you wield a double-bladed lightsaber while being attacked from the front and shot at from behind, you would be in a tough spot compared to someone wielding two separate lightsabers.
  12. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but it was not "your" jacket. If it were, the NEED/GREED system would not be there.
  13. Any chance to get a cat or a cup of tea while sitting in it?
  14. Not to mention that you get charged a FEE to send credits to yourself (an alt). That is BS.
  15. Enemies underground. Taxis frozen in mid-air. Enemies not showing up on minimap.
  16. The only thing these extra missions really are for is to get gear in the first place. By that point, you are level 50 and have completed endgame anyway. In reality, there really is no reason to worry about the high-end gear. Besides, most of the top level gear looks like absolute cr@p, IMO.
  17. I have been playing MMOs for years and NEVER had to change my name before SWTOR. In this game, I have had to do it twice. That is enough to tick me off, especially when I did not move to another server and had first claim to the name.
  18. I cannot believe no one has used - - - "It's not my fault!"
  19. It is getting annoying to have other players run in and take the loot or perform the task while I or my team is fighting the mob to clear it. I would think that they could code the loot to only be accessible to the player/team that agros the mob guarding it first, until an acceptable re-spawn time expires, of course, to avoid people locking out the item. If people observed a little in-game courtesy, this would not be an issue. But far too many players opt for the easy steal instead of earning the prize.
  20. People talk about how other MMOs did the trial-and-error before SWTOR. Do you REALLY believe that they share their inside information with a competitor? If you do, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale cheap. It is a new game. LIVE with the growing pains and shut up. Expecting perfection from the start is unrealistic. THAT IS REALITY.
