  1. I couldn't care less if Koth leaves, but threatening me I take not easy. That means he is dead meat. Ralo is a dick anyway. With my Wrath I didn't helped the trapped soldiers, he welcomed we on Fairheaven like a dick, yadayada it's all my fault. Then I played as SI, saved those morons and how did he welcomed me? Yadayada, because of me not all soldiers made it out. ...I wished for that particular moment, my alt could have thrown him down the reling. "Accidents happen...!";) Most of Koths crew are anyway replaceble dorks. All Redshirts. Oh and beeing on the topic, mostly 2/10 To short, wrong options which I couldn't care less, no option to finish off Koth and/or Kalyo directly, generic encounters. Was that the reason I prolonged my sub? The conseqquence of this is, I'm going to cancel my sub for at least a half an year until I got enough to play. I couldn't care less for the HK55 minimission.
  2. Yeah, he described a lot of stuff who happen to be non canon by now.
  3. Beside the reasons Rankyn already mentioned comes the fact, dveloping Cathar avatar models was the easiest and fastest way to deliver. Nevertheless, or rather "how wonder" the Cathar as a playable race was not a success. Simply because most of us can't relate that species with Star Wars directly. Any other playable Race we already learned about due other media, but Cathar is (as far as I know) a KOTOR only invention. IMHO they had better introduces Bothans. Actualy noone really know how they look like. They are not the "Wolfman from the cantina" not the Jedi from the animated Clone Wars. There are several interpretations but anyone of them was at the end not showing a Bothan. And as we know "many Bothans died ...":D
  4. Simply because most of the surviving Sith Lords are not simpleminded maniac anachists. Kalyos kind is definetely disturbing their circles of power. Those Sith Lords would have killed for less. As for "Why is nobody complaining about Senya". Well indeed, but that also depends on what point of view we see her. Playing some goodie-goodie Jedi I'd definetely would have my problems with her. She is totally neutral but rightfull. This is dangerous. But only if you are a Lightsider. Both my Sith toons get quite well with her. She is inquisitive, driven a formidable detective and fighter, a open minded person and well formed. She is kind of what a Sith Lord think to see in itself. (But mostly they are not) Nevertheless IMHO she will clash with the Outlander for the strange monolyth in the Gravestone at some point. I for onbe never really Thought of Koth beeing a whiny girl. But as a Sith I can't get along with his motivation. While as the Wrath I do not tollerate this at all, as Darth Nox I like playing games with him, but he is definetely expendable. You know what grind my gears? Not being able to show my reasons why I do my decisions.
  5. You think beeing a Darksider makes people love her? It's not that axis is bothering us but the righteous-chaotic axis. While most of us see the Outlander as a freedomfighter, Kalyo is nothing more than an anarchist terroist. This doesn't come along well.
  6. Simply because he is a traitor. For me as a real person he is clearly a good guy. If not the only one with a heart in his chest. But yes, he seem to onesided with that opinion. As long Zakuul people won't get hurt he is ok. But people here aready pinpointed it, what about the rest of the galaxy. He is ok, if Sith Imperials and Republicans die. War is dirty indeed, but does it have to be Kalyos way? She is nothing more than a terrorist. My Wrath would react quite strong to both types of prersonality. She doesn't trust traitors at all. They did it once they'll do it again. And she is clearly reightous evil in her basic conviction. Firebrand is chaotic evil. Chaos and reightousness do nog get along well. Her aversion is even stronger for Firebrand than for Koth. He is for her more usefull and manageable. - And by the way neither gender, nor skincolor has anything to do with the decision I take for my Wrath and how she sees the things. Thas as well! Yeah for the cost of my Wraths integrity. No thanks. What I wanted was "Firebrand you are not only not helping, you are by the way dead. I've seen enough from you to know you are a danger to my cause." , cuts her in half where she stands. "This was her test of wothiness. I do not need mass murderers who do it for the thill." Koth yaks about killing hundreds of thousands. "Stop right there. What about your Emperors who slaughtered billions of my people? Oh, you have a problem with that? Leave as long as you can and don't come back. Just a fair warning, because you helped my escape. Do not cross me! And another thing. I did nothing to kill the Zakuul people. It was all Firebrand. That is why she died by my hand. I just let her pass. Same thing you did when Zakuul destroyed so many of our planets. Now you have just a little hintch how it feels." And to all my companions around at that moment: "Listen up, you all! I want this thing cristal clear. I am still the Empires Wrath and I still have a task. To kill Vitiate. If this means I have to kill his family first, so be it. If it means to anihilate everything that stand between me and my task, so be it. I can give you your freedom as your Commander, as long as your movement do not contradicts with my goal. You stay on my side, and you WILL see your world freed by the Zakuul and freed by the Emperors gasp once and for all." -This would be what my Wrath would say at this debriefing. And not that junk BW let our alts say. (By the way, interpretations very much allowed ) I'm not yaking because he is leaving, but because he is leaving for the wrong idea and I have to keep that lunatic instead. Indeed. But I liked Thana to the end. Sadly she overstepped and provoked my Wrath. She was killed, but I didn't do it with pleasure. I'd rather have kept her under my wing. After all I liked her attitude. In some kind it reminded me of a DS Kira Carsen.
  7. Oh, this guy is on another special level for me. Despite any other foes the Wrath hadm he got personal. And I got beside playing my Wrath really pissed. Yes I had to keep him around because he was the ony healer comp the Wrath has, but he was dead the minute he betrayed me. I don't want an accident. I want that wheel ofchoice. After all I understand he got some sympathies by other players in here. But I for one actually want to tear him limb by limb apart and slap him with every one of them in the face before he dies a quite painfull death as a reminder of "do not beray the Wrath, do not mock him!" Actually we can and we shoud. Therw are plenty of alternative companions who could act as replacements. I belive a good version of the Firebrand could be Vette. She is can be a spitfire And I would like her having learned of consequences during combat by the Wrath. She could be a mature version of herself by beeing not a freaking agent of chaos, but a freedomfighter. I could swap Koth in a sec for her and Kalyo is already on my terminate list. The thing is, itwould be great if we really had the choice of deciding who we want and who we don'T in our companion rooster. And I belive it really matter what alegiange the companions have. It is quite unimportant if we "need" them or not. There is alway a replacement, but one with the right allegiange. Well, at least it should be in the game as well.
  8. Well with Chapter 10 there are some major choices. Sadly the possibilities are awfull. Your choiches will blow right into your face for the first time you do this particular Chapter. Taky my warning and do not play at first with your main. You'd might be quite upset with the outcome.
  9. First of all SPOILERS! So, now we get to gain Kalyo as a companion. What a b****h. Never realised what a disgusting persona she had while playing my agent. Anyway, let's get to the point it bothers me: Koth Vortena vs. Kalyo based on your decisions. Why I was playing as my main toon, the Wrath, She has absolutely no love for Koth Vortena. He stands for almost everything she dislikes at someone, but he is useful and his humanitarian driving is also a pole to her "I don't care if the world burns" mentality. Well, as said, Wrath and Koth Vortena would never really be friends, but at least allies. Now, during Chapter 10 I let Kalyo do her thing, it was her show after all. I acted properly to my Wrath and I gave a poodo about the Zakuul City. Didn't let her manipulate me, talking about why I am doing this, blabla, let me pull the trigger, blabla. That was her show, so she should do the dirty work by herself. I haven’t incriminated the Wrath. ... But I let her do all of it. I wasn't ok, I simply didn't cared. Now Koth Vortena talked to me accusing me of mass murder. First of all 'dafuk he was thinking the Wrath is?! The Wrath is "That Guy" who the Zakuul Forces once fight against. The Wrath stands for the brute Force of the Sith Empire. Oh, now Koth Vortena is shocked.... O'rly!? Anyway, he had several chances to leave the Wrath without gaining on his black list. But on Chapter 10 he overstepped. Accusing the Wrath of something he is was not. Trying to steal "MY" ship! Threatening the Wrath... oh, that's swell! He made it right on the second spot of my Wraths death list during several minutes. Aaaaaanyway, back on the topic: Why do my Wrath has to sacrifice a potent ally for a person the Wraths absolutely knows, she is neither help nor trustworthy. Mostly everything she stands against. Chaos, Anarchy, damage without purpose. So, let's talk about the choices we make in here. Do I want to kill Koth Vortena, by now totally. Do I have to accept Kalyo? She was pushed into my main rooster without having me to decide. Same went with Theron, Koth Vortena, etc. As Wrath I would never recruit those guys. It's not about competence, but loyalty and where we stand. The actual major choice is either cancer or cholera for me. Both decisions are the worst and I can't get rid of any of them. I hadn't had the choice to redeem myself in front of Koth Vortena, so now I have to kill him with my Wrath. I can't get rid of Kalyo for reasons unknown for me. The bottom line is, I am not happy with the choices we gain. There is absolute no freedom of any kind to chose who your companions can be, or not. I feel like a liar in the game, especially with my main now. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What were you impressions while playing Chapter 10 for the first time? Did you enjoied the decission you had to made, or had been made for you?
  10. Frankly mostly none of my toons would reshape anything. As a player who can get along mostly with the stories from Sith, I will mostly refer to them. My Sith Warior. The way he sees the things is quite simple. He is the Wrath of the Empire. That means, he is the first Executioner. His duty is to execute anything and anyone threatening the Empire. His main task at the moment is to fulfill "Justice" and execute the former Sith Emperor Vitiate. The Wrath is no leader and do not want any political responsibility. He actually despised anyone who seeks this. So, for him beein placed as the Alliance Commander is like putting a Wolf as a Sheepsguard. His only goal is to kill Vitiate no matter what. He is neither nice, nor social, nor has any sympathy or respect for anyone. But he has an honor code. You let him break his word, you will suffer. He will do whatever it takes to fulfill his task. Even if the entire Galaxy would burn for it. Sith Inquisitor My Sith inquisitor is absolute egocentric. Everything that happens has to happen in order to improve and sustain her demands. So, I think, she might to have a monotheism culture around her, similar to the Sith Empire for the Emperor. Despite Vitiates plans she does not get along with alternatives, agreements and compromises. Only dead enemies are good enemies and there is no redemption, even if she let you think that way. That means, as far as the Eternal Empire will be defeated she will definetely tun on the Republic and the alliance wannabes. Bounty Hunter First she'll defeat the Eternal Imperial forces with any help she can get. She'll be the finest Commander ever been, because she can. But after that she want to do what she is best at, Bountyhunting. The slow life is for the lazy people. Agent Why did he even come up again in the first place? I don't get it at all. It's not the agents task to be a prominent person at all, but at best only a grey eminence. ...actually I just realised any of my alts are into galactic domination but more of a "do your duty no matter at what cost", "burn the house down", "playing others", "do it for the fun, and because I can!" guy.
  11. There is no satisfactory sollution. We are here, because we like playing Star Wars MMO in the first place. People who just pay their mothly subscription just for the idea of keeping the game runnig are IMHO "special kids". We have no alternative if we ant to play that kind of game. We either don't have the brand, or there are no game coming near to the features we like here. So, what do do? And EA knows that. So, what to do? Just nag. At least we can express our frustration. But the reality is, EA will do a darn about it.
  12. What's the trent with the thin Lightsaber blade anyway? Never liked it. Neither in the original Star Wars concept art, neither in The Rebels TAS and especially not in here. Look like my Forceweilders are fightig with a glowstick. But the unstability animation looks good. ...So, if BioWare is going to do them as well as normal blades, I'm definetely going to buy them. If not, I'll pass.
  13. EA is a Behemoth similar to Walmart or other huge companies who are selling something to the customers. Everybody nags abot the price-performance, still everyone is buying there. As long as so many customers still do buy the products, as long as the provider will not change its course. Personally for me it is quite sad seeing games with real potential beeing trown out on the market by EA well knowing they are not ready yet. Also the low quality standards. It's hard to belive any developer mit a bit of self esteem is happy releasing this half baked work. After all it's the developing teams reputation at stake, especially in MMO's. Beein more precisely, BioWare has actually a quite low reputation by now through SWTOR. They blew it so many times in quality, keeping deadlines, etc. This pressure has to be imense having to deliver despite any quality of work.
  14. WOW has one, STO also as far as I know.
  15. Just my recent impressions of my latest tickets. Three tickets were made in about 2 weeks. Those three were all worked up. ...So things changed. Keeping in mind, tey are not even written in english but german. Most of them were answered even a day later from edit. Cudos on that Customer Support. BUT!!!! ... none of my problems I generated a ticket for was solved by the CS. NONE! All of their answers were mostly Ballonium. The saddest thing was, I found two of my sollutions here in the depths of the very own official SWTOR forums. All ofh the CSs suggestinons weren't helping at all. Nevertheless, they wrote me quite nice toned emails as wanswer to my tickets, swell. Anyway, If I'd had to give them a rating it would be: (1-5 stars) 2,5 - Reaction time 5 - Customer frendliness 1 - Sollution 2,8 - Sum
  16. Wait, just realised, are we talking about GRAPHIC engine? Only that, and not about the GAME engine itself? (Since I'm not a native englishspaker, I can't find the right words, so hopefully you'll undersand what I mean.) Several MMO's upgrated the grahic engine, who is a part of the game engine. EQ, EVE Online, WOW, STO just to call some, and not to forget even SWTOR had a minor upgrate for the enviroment. So yes, technically ist is not only possible, but already done. The question is not if, but when. But anyway this hs nothing to do with the OPs FPS breakdowns. His issues have nothing to do with a bad engine, but a bad PC setup.
  17. Your FPS dropdowns have actually nothing to do with the engine itself but with the errowed coding of some areas in the game. Just an example of mine: Almost anything in the game runs with my i7-4790K, 16GB Ram, 250GB SSD, Nvidia Geforce GTX970, yada, yada, etc. with ease. SWTOR is not even tempering to 30% my entire ressources. BUT on some places in KOTFE I have from a fluent 60 FPS dropdowns to 20+. Places like Odessen, and especially the Starfortress. So, is thatfore the engine outdated, or broken, or somthing like that. Not at all. The prechaged Hero Enige, which was used to build the (the devs at least call it ) SWTOR Engine (they actually jst trew the best parts out of the code and called it a day), ist at the same level of potence as the current Cryptic Engine, and that thing, boy is still the thing, at some features! Long talk short, the engine is fine, your settings are most likely not. No that's the funny thing: They didn't stripped her. And beside that they are using a different design choiche and amount of frames per object. If BioWare hadn't stripped SWTOR from all those features the Hero Engine have, they could change the design and smoothness whenever they wanted. And they could have given us full editable character creation as the Hero Engine has integrated.
  18. I have to say, I quite have a problem with this entire idea of coumnicatons. But let me explain why: For quite some time, acutally about 15 years I am a MMO player. What I'd leadned about community behavior and devs reaction was nt the thing I expected. There are even a quite promient example for how communication can go the wrong way: Anyone remember Cryptic and STO? Well there are devs woh areally do care and really want every day o make the game better and listen to the community. But it totally went south. Simply because the community learned how much the devs had to fix problems. At some point the poeple thought the entire game is broken and everything has to be revmaped. ...Well in defence of the devs, any MMO has absolutely the exact developemt during the time. There are no longelived MMO who even looks the same as at the release. But those unfiltered informations were got the wrong way and not only damaged the game eperience but also the trust in the developers. ...And again, they were only honest, the game worked, and everything was green. However they felt the warth of the mob. So, what is the right aproach on this communitaction problem? As we see, no communication is also extremly bad. What I personally would like to have is the activity of the joung WOW forums back in the day, where there were enough devs in the forums and really helped a little here and there, or had a little smalltalk just to get sympathy for their work. I'd be quite happy with that. But to much information on how the point to point status in detail of the game is, i think would be a voertkill of information which will be perverted.
  19. Jeeeeesus Christ! Why did they do such thing? Had recently he same prob. I'll give your sollution a try. Wish me luck!. Thanks by the way.
  20. Sorry for the totally off topic, but where did you got this weapongraded ballonium knowledge?
  21. Depends on what class we are playing, we are also quite the villian. So this would totally work for me!
  22. My Wrath is quite driven by the fact Vitiate got under his skin during Ziost. He didn't took it personal that Vitiate destroyed all life on Ziost, but the fact that he mocked the Wrath and is the only one to elude him. I as the Wrath made up my mind, when Vitiate right before obliterating Ziost talked for the last time to the Wrath. That he would never got a chanche to beat him, that he is nothing more than a puppet. I answered with truth, that he don't know if he is up fo the task, but nervertheless he want a direct confrontation. Fate is not written, by no one. The idea is, as the Wrath I give a freakin poodo about Republic or Imperium and expecially about the ridiculous Alliance. I want that guy dead by my hand as he Wrath. And while playing the Wrath I give a poodo if the entire Galaxy burns for that. Playing the Wrath, realising I had the spirit of Vititate in him, my real reacion, if knowing for sure, would be, "If I'd take my life now and I could take you with me, I would do it because it's my decision!" You may call it an intepretation of the Sith Codex. Then the Wraths chackels would be broken. Maybe I am to subjective on this speical matter and about my point of view about my Wrath. As for Darth Nox. I finished my SI storyline as a bit on the part of the Dark Side, however quite neutral. And I got the calling of Darth Nox. Thafore I got the idea, Darth Nox is the neutral calling. Darth Imperius have to be the pure Light Side and the Dark Side name I didn't got. Well I assume, I was wrong, since I only can find those two names for him. It seems he only has the two alternative names. As the SI I am only into gaining more power and stepping in Vitiates footsteps. being better at it of course. Of course I got the offer of ultimate power struck by Valcorion. But I couldn't care less about saving Lana. During my duell with Arkann I again took the power of Valorion. Taking the easy way, yada-yada. My SIs goal remain to be the new and undisputed Sith Emperor. But my approach would be total different. I would first subjugate the Sith Empire from the shadows, take it under my control, then I would ally with the Republic, ..after of course Chancelor Saresh had a sad accident. All this under the radar of the EE, and then I would hit Zakuul directly. Even if they got that fleet, they wouldn't had any planet left. Eliminating the planet would fulfill the prophecy, but only in another way. I'd be the Snake that eats the world. Beside those two classes, every other of our heroes would follow the path set by BioWare without remorse. Doing the "right" thing is what drive anyone of them, even if there are interpretations to this. And thatfore by my understanding it can be only one fit class being the new Sith Emperor, the SI. Most likely a lot of poeple in the game don't see it that way. And I am quite OK with it. I even like it that way, because even if we got the same meta story with any class, it is up to us what we see and why and how we handle things the wy we do. Anytime we lay a class we see in there what we want. For me beside the SI and SW the other classes are either patriotic idiots, drooling lose guns, chaotic and selfish scoundrels, serpents or dogmatic and arrogant wannabes. As what I truly see for the SW is a absoulte driven force. That vicious spacesamurai true to his word, not playing around. Kinda true to Darth Vader. And the SI I see as the previous version of Darth Sidious. ...I would definitely play him more stealthy, plotting and insidious that in the story here.
  23. You'd wished! It might be quite idiotic for a Sithlord of the High Council to wither his boundings with the Sith Empire and his exfollowers just to gain... what the heck do we even gain by slaying Valkorion and taking a way to strong Eternal Empire head on? ...well beside a bloody nose. Why should the Sithlord even interfere with the perversed Republic? At this point the Republic as more than enough to do with itself so that there is no real threat koming from it. Not bolstering his bondacies with his elder minions is as already written extremly dumb. Playing the Alliance card is even dumber since there are at least as much Light Sided Jedi and Repubic Commandos as Imperials in it. And in the Alliance they all have only one gole and one alone, freedom from the EE oprecion. Beside that it is quite clear either Republic nor Imperials have nothing in common. Maybe a better life. ...But when they realise the Sith Lord is about to become the new Emperor over everything, they will shortly try to overcome him, even before his ascension. The Alliance is at this point the worst ally for a Sithlord to help him for galactic domination. The story is quite a mess, indeed. However the SI also the SW are taking down the strongest and insidious Sith Lords of their time. As for Darth Nox, the title. Darth Imperiax is quite the idiotic and shortsightened personal developement. Acting like Darth Nox brings you a lot of tactical advantages and shows, that a Sithlord is more than a drooling prychopath. Darth Nox is a true tactitian and he alone is wothy of beeing on par with the other Council members. As for the Wrath, he is the most potent forceadept Assasin of this time. he is absolute brute force, but sadly to simpleminded to be Emperor material. The Warath is driven by a simple idea. And it is quite personal as I see it. Even more personal than the enocuhter between the Jediknight and the Emperor. Vitiate got relly under his skin. ...Well at least he got under my Wraths skin on Ziost. I think the Wrath is that guy, that is not caring if the entire world burns as long as he can fulfill his mission. And that kind of guy is all but a potent Emperor. Oh, realy? What did the Bountyhunter did to be called "great". he assasinated the Grandchancelor of the Republic, ...yay... what a man! /irony Indeed, our toons will never be anything really powerfull in this game. But I totally disagree Lord Scourge ever beeing more than a brute. Simply because he is of the same coat as our Wrath. He is actually noting more than our Wraths mirrow. Vowrawn helping? Definetely! Ater all the Wrath is a powerfull tool. Having him at his ally is a very wise choice. But I do not belive Vowrawn would be ever more than a Council member. He is quite smart and wise, but I am not quite sure, he would dare to cross the Wrath. He already know, the Wrath had escaped several times certain death and came back with a vengeance. Beside one point a quite agree. Acina did not start at the same point, and the SI is not on the spot he once were before the EE attacked. He is away and gone for 7 years and even now his once followers think him dead. All his imperial Ressources are gone for good. And he qill have quite the hard time to step all the political ranks back again. Simply because every Sithlord that he have to surpass will give him the fight of his life in order not to lose everything! I mean, as a Sithlord, knowing an old very powerfull adversar is rising up again, you have to act fast in oder not to lose. And as we know the Sith of this time do ally themself to anihilate a stronger one. So to speak, the fleas would kill the dog.
  24. Technically the SI could be the Sith Emperor, if he likes to have the throne and if he might have the political and mlitary powerto back him up. But since the Hero went missing for 7 years it is quite improbable, that he might have kept his minions. So to speak, he is broke as F***. Even if he might kill Darth Acina he still won't keep the power over the Sith Empire. And from that point of view, he is not even near beein the Sith Emperor. beeing the most powerfull Sith alive doesn't make you fit for the role of the Emperor. Allies and supporters have to be bound followerers to be regrouped. Only then the SI might be the Sith Emperor. Sadly BioWare is taking us to a place at least the SI and the SW don't want to be. Well at lest not mine. My SW wants to finish the job, killing once and for all Vitiate. My Si would rather rule over the Sith Empire and gather his forces instead of playing rebel and fightig some ominouse Vitiate Wannabe. IMHO both are only wasting their precious time during KOTFE, because they are doing none of the things that need to bedne to reach their goals.
  25. Or the other way. Mostly the other way, because the most of us have not the patience for this and we are clearly the majority. However I am sad, that it has to come to this. After all it is a MMO and we are in here to play together, but not by taking orders by some monority, who happen to have aternatives. As far as I know yes.
