  1. Just running my alts through the Makeb missions and whilst completed the quest "The Ark", located in the Ark Construction Site, just before you speak with Foreman Tiero for the quest to confront Veedrig, my Sages companion Nadia Grell just blurted out... "Wait, where's the ark? I thought it... oh. Oh, wow." It is one of those 'in the moment' comments that made me look around to see what prompted Nadia to make the comment, so I zoomed out to 100%, then looked up down and all around and realised that I was looking at The Ark, it is huge! so huge I can't see the top of it! Made myself a mental note... Must remember to open my eyes a little more often... Have fun out there
  2. Thx, but it wasn't to do with me not using the mission item... The mission item that you click to perform the scan at the drilling platform worked perfectly the first time at Fwanna platform, but did not work again after that for either Dopa or Bo. So this morning, I reset the mission and hey presto, it worked perfectly for all three scans and uploads! I guess it had just bugged out for me on my main toon, as my aults were also ok with it. In short, the mission reset did the trick for me!
  3. Hi all, I am stumped half way through [stage One] Operation : Overwatch... I was able to Scan and Relay the data at platform Fwanna perfectly, but for the life of me I can not get the drill scanner to work at either of the other two platforms Dopa or Bo.. No matter what I try or where I stand when trying to run the drill scan, it just does not work for me. I know I am doing something wrong, so can someone please explain how I can get the scanner to work at platforms Dopa and Bo? Thx
  4. Hi all, Most of us have laughed at something that one of our companions has said or heard during conversation with one of the games characters we have interacted with whilst questing and levelling our toons.. My favourite quote from Makeb is from the scene immediately after defeating Isotape-5 Protoype Walker Droid in Tarlam Settlements when Mayor Erkens says:- "Here I was thinking it was a shiny Wookiee on stilts wearing turbo blasters for a hat! "A droid," Indeed! Now... who the blazes are you?" What is your favourite quote?
  5. Thx so much I had been down there twice already, but could not operate the lock on the right side of the door, so assumed the entrance or a quest item to unlock it was somewhere else! Nope. So I rebooted my pc, ran repair from the launcher menu, logged back in and magically, it was working! Thx again and have fun out there!
  6. Hi all, Can someone please tell me how to Access the Secret Entrance to Toborro's Palace? Thx
  7. Nothing worked for us. Can't complete his Sniper class story from Alderaan.
  8. This is also happening to my friend who is playing his sniper, which is why we are on the forum. He is trying to complete his Sniper Class Story by using the ships holoterminal, but it will not work. Space bar doesn't work and he has now reset the class story and will try the ships holo again. Will update shortly or if you have an answer, pls post.
  9. Hey Ashlaboga and congrats on attaining "Honored Silver Acute" rep with the gree. Well done! Confusion for both of us then... Your confused that I am not "Hero" reputation with the Gree, despite having more than enough Gree Reputation Trophies and I am confused as I have no idea what combination I should have used the trophies in so that I achieved a better reputation.... I have "Friend" legacy reputation with "The Gree Enclave", have played my 9 x level 50's each day on Ilum but only one toon has completed the mission "The Ancient Gree Relays", as it is so time consuming jumping from planet to planet compared to just parking all of my toons on Ilum for the event. Playing so many toons for this event, I also gave up on the PvP daily mayhem and Heroic's after day 2... So, I think I went wrong by only using the "Gree Memory Core" and "Gree Data Core" after collecting at the end of each daily toon run, in no combination, just clicked them to add reputation. My "Friend" Reputation is 9120 out of 10000 and I have maxed out my weekly cap, which means I receive this message :- "You are already at the weekly reputation cap with this group". Naively, I am confused that there is a (mathematical) combination as to how I should have used the "Premium", "Prototype" and "Artifact" reputation trophies to maximize the weekly reputation.... So for now, I have dozens, yes dozens of Trophies to use and the event ends on Feb 26th, before my weekly rep cap is reset.. I am also hoping that when the event ends on Feb 26th 2013, I can continue to use the Trophies each week, until I run out of Trophies or the event rolls around again to continue developing my legacy reputation.
  10. Totally agreed guys, this is a great event and even though it hasn't finished just yet, I am really looking forward to it returning, soon I hope, so that I can continue building my Gree Reputation! In fact, the event has been so much fun that I want more , why not bring back the Rakgoul World Event from April 2012 that was also a bucket of fun on Tatooine!
  11. The Gree Weekly Reputation Cap. I am really, really challenge driven and was determined to achieve the highest Gree Reputation that I could and managed to hit the first weekly cap in around 1 day.... which was great, but seemed strange to me that a weekly reputation cap is actually beneficial to any player? So having maxed out my weekly reputation cap early last week, my initial challenge to achieve at least Hero reputation was on hold, but I continued to put my toons through the event and build up Gree Reputation Trophies to comvert to Gree Reputation as soon as the 2nd weekly cap became available, which is today.... So I popped a few of my collected Gree Reputation Trophies and now I have maxed out this weekly cap which is Friend Reputation without even puting a foot on Ilum So I guess I am feeling a bit down in the dumps that my challenge can not be completed due to the weekly reputation cap, which for me, is now locked at Friend level for another week or if the plug is pulled on the event this week, I will have to wait until the event returns to continue my challenge ... but in my mind, waiting on an unknown return or end date for the event doesn't work well with setting goals, objectives or completing a challenge. Any idea of when the event will return as I am not keen on stockpiling my Reputation Trophies, just like I stockpiled my Rakghoul DNA commendations from the Rakgoul World Event in April 2012 that came, went and hasn't returned. Now that would be nice, bring back the Rakghoul World Event as well as I am sure a few of the newer players would enjoy that one
  12. Yep, I agree with you on that one, I really enjoy setting a goal, especially with a new challenge and getting stuck into the task until it is done... mind, I don't think I have had a 48 hour season.... without food, drink and some sleep that is!
  13. Yeah, that sounds plausible. I put all of my 50's through the missions yesterday, which capped me for the week and yep, I can just stockpile them until next week. Your also right that it will take some time to progress the reputation, but at least they are planning to run follow up events throughout the year, unlike the Rakghoul Pandemic one in April 2012 on Tatooine that had no follow up and the Jawa vendor just disapeared when the event plug was pulled... Shame really as I still have around 160 of those Raghoul commendations in my vault... but I have stopped coughing and spluttering on everyone It would be nice if that event came back as well..... Anyways, I'm already looking forward to the sequel events following this one.
  14. I'm just curious why there is a weekly 'Cap' on how many 'Reputation' points you can put towards your 'Gree Enclave Legacy' reputation? So bascially I am now stuck as a 'Newcomer' for almost a week and cannot achieve 'Friend' level until next week.. A shame really as I was looking forward to achieving the 'Friend' level today as a bit of a challenge and just don't understand why it is time capped..... Any ideas?
  15. Lol... yeah, every time I light up the park with that rather spectacular green come to my party laser beam, I can't help but think that I have just sent out a huge invite! But on the other hand, it is a very effective taunt in PvP if your trying to draw the crowd's attention away from your tank and dps so that you get to spend some up close and personal time with a few of the other team that are sure to bounce your way Also lets you know pretty quick how switched on the other team is as well... So in reality, I tend not to use the Green Beam a lot if I am a fair distance from my team members that I am healing and prefer to jump onto Hammer Shot to keep stacking my Combat Support Cell to get the 10 seconds of Supercharged Cell fun. A shame the Green Party Beam is not invisible to the other team... that would work for me.
  16. Good insight into the Rep healers, for which I play all three and having recently taken my Commando out of storage for another run and even with full War Hero kit and a basic understanding of the toons mechanics, I simply find the Commando a really challenging toon to play well at lvl50 compared to my other toons. Especially if my friends aren't online and I PuG or once the Imp's dps mobs spot me and my team mates are unable to support their support healer. So I find that my current tactic is to allow the attacker/s to get it over quickly (2 good dps toons can do this in approx 3-4 seconds) so that I can get back as quick as I can to support the team as best I can... As there is no advantage to my team having me running around trying to oppose the attack as I am no use to my team as a support role doing that. So, at best, when I have a good tank on my back and one or two good dps to look after, I seem to be able to function as a reasonable support / heal toon. However, I must admit that for some reason, I still enjoy holding onto the idea of the Commando as a viable PvP toon, despite all the hastle I seem to go through with the Commando in lvl 50 WZ at the moment. Maybe I just like the punishment some of those Imp toons can dish out whilst I try to figure out better ways to support my team mates.
  17. I play both sides of the fence, so if my friends are on we will group together and at other times, we simply queue Solo to pug. But now that so many more players are levelling their toons and investing serious time and creds into the best kit for a serious PvP toon and actively queue their group for solo play, I think the fun and more importantly, the interest in WZ is dropped faster than picking up a super-hot potato. I mean, solo players for what ever reason they play solo, do not sign up to be steam rolled by a hard hitting Premade and I'd like to think that the same genuine hard hitting Premade doesn't get any fun from steam rolling players with low level kit trying to learn the art of PvP from level 10 to 50+. So I think Bioware should add an extra option in the War Zone group finder that allows the Solo player the option to queue against like-minded players. Keep the option simple, such as 'Non Premade WZ' where only Solo players are then grouped together, no groups, just simply 8 solo players on one side against 8 solo players on the other. Then we can all get back to enjoying the game. Have fun out there and try to enjoy the PvP, especially those really close matches

    PVP premade sucks

I was silly enough to post into an old thread. So, to keep everyone happy, I deleted my post in the hope that you can all be happy again Have fun out there!
  19. Nope, I haven't used that escape pod yet, can't say I have even found it... Makes me queasy just thinking about jettisoning off in it... But I can't imagine you can coax C2-N2 to take a ride anyhow...
  20. At least my companion Aric seems to get it right! My day out goes something like this... Where going at a boss and I take a few steps back to help out my companion and a fellow group member who are in the thick of it.. All going well, then... Aric is done, my fellow group member packs away his kit, the target goes down and I just manage to complete my very pretty looking routine with the mortar, firing off the three powerful rounds, albeit after the target has already bitten the dust... Very impressive to view is that!

    Hey y'all!

Hey Corey, Welcome... Sounds like your really going to like TOR. This was new for me as well and I have really made some huge mistakes along the way, but really enjoying it as well! Any how, the SWTOR forum has been great and answered all my questions and still helping me find solutions to build my Trooper class into a worthy Tank. Bye,
  22. Hi, Hope you have fun out there as it is a pretty cool MMO once you get into it..
  23. Yep, hope this gets fixed as it seems like my Trooper spends ages trying to look good before he actually gets down to business...
  24. My Trooper is only level 21 at the moment, but I logged into the forum today in search of an answer as to why my class seems so slow to respond when other classes don't seem to have the delay.... But having read this thread, it looks like my Trooper aint the Trooper I thought he could be, he is broke! Glad I found the thread and hope that it is something that is going to be addressed as I really like the Trooper class, but will have to rethink how I build up my skill tree to better tank around in the back ground offering support. Still better than blue milk!
