As a tank i have learned to adapt to these situations in pugs. I am a pt bounty hunter. First thing is to tell the group to mark targets. Jump to the toughest non cc'ed target and throw a single mob taunt on it. Then turn to the weakest target or healer target and pull them to me or just mosey on over to them while throwing attacks at them. As the gunslinger said, they can drop one of these in a couple hits. It may take me 2 or 3 more hits to drop them than a dps, but i can do it, so if i solo it then no big deal. then move to next toughest and so on till i get back to the strongest. While doing this i am watching the healers health bar to make sure they didn't draw aggro on something and if their hp are going down then i will move to them mid fight to beat on their mob. If a dps has stayed on the elite i originally hit with a taunt then by the time he takes aggro by doing damage, I can get back to it and we can kill it off before he dies and/or my single target taunt will be refreshed and i can easily take back aggro. This has been very effective lately and i have had virtually no issues.

If it is only a 5 minute spawn then my exp on these is... Let it spawn and give him/her a second to tag it and then help him/her burn it down. Then when he/she gets the update they usually help you burn it down on respawn.

I don't think i like aric. He was rude the first time i met him and on 2 occasions he went -1 on a descision i made including not to kill a guy. He wanted me to murder someone and is just rude. He will not be my choice and if it upsets him then tough crud. There was a reason he got demoted in the first place.

I am on ebon hawk and i have just started doing flashpoints. Took me a bit to understand the setup for them but i got it. I did a group finder for directive 7 and black talon. I do another and dont even remember which one it was. I tell the group that i am new to this fp thinking they may kick me for that but i would be alright with it. The group does not kick me and we jet off bypassing everything. I try to follow but i get the out of bounds warning and die. Now the group cant get me to res so i had to revive at the start. I don't know the way to get to them and i say that i dont know the way. I figure they didnt want to wait for me so as im about to disband and move along in my adventures... then one of the guys calls me a retard and says they should drop me. I disbanded and left but i suppose there are a lot of impatient players who dont pay attention to others. how am i retarded for not knowing the way in a zone i have never been to. i just assume he didn't see where i stated that i was new to the fp. It can be very discouraging for sure.

The order shouldnt matter, You used 2 blue cubes and the third poster pointed out you needed 2 green cubes. this seems to be the issue i would think. not green blue blue but blue green green.

It only depends on what the primary stat is for that companion.

I bound ctrl left arrow and ctrl right arrow for strafing. is easy to hold ctrl with pinky while using arrows. helps a lot to strafe.

I play on RP PVP as a sith inq and i use a blue crystal as a light side sith because i am a follower of revan. i think that is how you spell it. not real sure atm cause im at work. Ajunta Pall. RP PVP.

I am really enjoying swtor. I loved eq2. Hate warcraft. didn't like rift at all. Liked AoC a bit. Liked vanguard but was released way to early. D&D was ok but not great. Loved EQ as well. EQ2 was the best for me but got burned out. Really liking the sci fi game and really enjoying the space missions atm.

I saw in the key bindings tab that you could designate a key to push to target your targets target so i set it up but it didn't work. I will have to double check the wording on it again to make sure i was reading it right.

it said you have to be billed at least 1 time before march meaning if you sign up after feburary whatever the day is you have 30 days before you get billed once. so you have to signe up before feburary the whatever day.

I didnt see anyone adress this issue. I never use wsad for movement even on my normal non space play. I use the arrow keys and they work well. if you have your a and d keys set up for strafing then they wont work to move so just use the arrow keys to move instead. i find them better than using letter keys amidst the other letter keys. I have my cntrl right arrow for strafe right and cntrl left arrow for strafe left.

gimp is when your not as equiped as you should be. if you got level 21 gear and your level 40 then your gimped.
