So basically you want to be able to hit people without them being able to hit back? Your attacks do just as much damage at close range as long range, more actually as you can rocket punch. The gap closer is a balance mechanic to keep melee's from getting kited to death. You have plenty of tools to keep them at bay, so don't complain about their tools to close tha gap.

It's not a quest mob, it's a champion that people farm hoping to get rare items to drop. I wouldn't have done that for a quest mob.

So I went to camp everyone's favorite champion, Dootu Mu Bacha, on Hoth, and someone else was already camping him. I went up to wait with him for the spawn, not stealthed, or hidden in any way, and when it popped I was quicker and I got the kill. After it had died, the camper in question proceeded to give me a tongue lashing about how it was his spot because he was there first and how I was a thief. I've been playing MMO's for many years now, and I've never come accross someone who thought they could claim a spawn. A farmable mob is like a TV on black friday, not like a bathroom stall.
