  1. Ok, offer players money for killing you in Smuggler's Den. You'll be able to advertise this to people from your faction, and they'll be able to kill you on account of the way the Smuggler's Den area works. I'm planning on doing this on my server at some point in the near future. And if anyone asks you, you heard it here first.
  2. How about Bioware adds a basic gear requirement for PvP. WoW had it for HM dungeons, and it was a good idea as it kept the undergeared scrubs out. This would solve part of the leaver problem, as many don't want to have to play with fresh 50s that have less then 12k hp.
  3. I'll suck it up, and deal with it. Everyone has to deal with the same system. I really couldn't care less that gear isn't handed to me on an hourly basis. I don't think the intention of having bags is to give everyone the best gear in the game the very moment they hit 50. If anything it's pretty obvious it's the opposite, it's to keep people playing over and over till they get what they're trying to get. BM bags aren't like a trip to McDonalds.
  4. OMG, I can't kill every single class in a 1v1 fight. QQ Please give me godmode button so I can kill everyone with zero effort involved.
  5. Got 1 token out of my first 4 bags. Seems to be working as intended.
  6. ROFL. Only Battlemaster gear has a Valor requirement. Out of 4 Battlemaster bags, I got 1 Battlemaster token. Damn, 25%, just as advertised. So not only do I get MORE Champions commendations, I still get BM tokens at the advertised rate. I <3 Bioware.

    Stealth in Pvp

I have, but that's because my reactions are fast enough that I can aoe the spot they vanished on and break them right back out of it. It's always funny to see a stealther vanish one moment, and then to see their corpse on the ground the next because I used carbine burst.

    Stealth in Pvp

Only bad player cry about stealth classes, as they're the only ones who can't deal with it. Calling someone else bad because you can't adapt and play better, rofl.
  9. Some people did some dalies and upgraded their oranges. They visited the GTN, upgraded their oranges. They visited the GTN, bought epic lewts for all their other slots. Others wore level 40 items at 50. The former are not scrubs, the latter are.
  10. Do PvE dalies, upgrade oranges. Spend some money at GTN, not much else you're going to do with it other then spend it on mounts anyways.
  11. They actually upgraded their oranges and weren't still wearing the items they got at level 40.
  12. I can't suddenly make your 12k HP turn into 20k HP, sorry, no.
  13. Surge nerf is a nerf to pretty much EVERYONE. Therefore, everyone benefits.
  14. You really can't go wrong stacking expertise.
  15. Is this the reason there are so many 50s in WZs still wearing level 40 gear? Operative level 50 PvP set > level 40 PvP set, both in terms of visuals and stats.
  16. To say gear doesn't matter is an outright lie. Gear matters in the 10-49 bracket, it STILL matters at 50. The biggest difference is once someone hits 50 they're not going to outlevel their best gear and their gear will only get better over time. With the part about gear out of the way, a premade can definitely be the difference between victory and defeat in Huttball as it requires coordination to move the ball, or a TON OF KNOCKBACKS to prevent scoring. The other two are more about calling things out to your team, so I wouldn't say a premade really means much aside from the player skill/gear of those on the premade.
  17. I have, and just like on these forums the responses haven't really been that great for the most part. Then again I wouldn't expect them to be, I'm essentally telling people they're either bad or ignorant, which they are. Not everyone can deal with the truth. I upgraded my oranges when I hit 50. I did the PvP grind. I hit Battlemaster a few days ago. It was pretty smooth. Some people just can't comprehend that better gear=better stats=more medals=PvP gear faster It's as if they think crafting and the GTN where put into this game for no reason. Still, no one gets punished for not bringing fresh 50s to Hardmodes. PvPing against people in partial/full Battlemaster gear while you're still wearing level 40 gear is no different then trying to get into a Hardmode while still wearing level 40 gear. The only difference is in PvE you can kick people from a group, or you just don't bring them from the get go. PvP doesn't afford people the same luxury. I'm not here to run a charity, I'm here to make my character better. If someone hasn't put the effort into making their character better, I shouldn't be punished for refusing to carry them.
  18. So how about giving people a REAL reason to use the existing open world PvP areas, like Smuggler's Den. Money makes the world go round, so provide some sort of credit incentive and I guarantee there will be hoards of people there. Going there once to buy two mounts doesn't really give people a reason to return.
  19. If the set bonus is tied to the armoring, I can support this. Although I see no reason to change the way my Operative looks, as the PvP set looks totally ******.
  20. Surge will nerf everyone's damage. Surge will nerf everyone's healing. So it seems the only one's benefiting are tanks.
  21. And Centurion gear is often covered in Accuracy, which for MANY classes is USELESS in PvP. I win at this game. I guess having less stats > more stats, at least in your eyes.
  22. Level 40 items in level 50 PvP are a joke. Orange items upgraded to level 50 mods/enhancements/armor are on par with Centurion gear, minus the set bonuses. Sorry but you clearly missed a step. Even more so when you consider the crit/surge mods you can buy in the GTN won't get upgraded until you hit Champion gear. I guess you'd prefer to advocate people leeching, instead of doing the best they can with what they have at the time. Better stats=more medals=more bags=PvP gear faster
