  3. 11 for 70 here, the RNG system is complete garbage. They made us pre1.1 BM grind through RNG champion bags, then proceed to make ilum an easy valor farm and change champion bags to fast grind to full champion. Now they expect us to grind out the RNG BM bags just so that they can change them a few weeks later? No thanks, I will just not play until you realize the RNG system is a terrible way to encourage gameplay.
  4. I can honestly say that the bags are definitely broken and not working as intended for some individuals, I am currently 10 for 68. My drop rate has started to level out around 14%, which is nowhere near the intended 25%.

  6. I am pretty sure there is no constant algorithm going that is magically cycling through numbers. I am pretty sure when you open a bag its just an instant bit or code or whatever that does a RNG if statement.
  7. You are ridiculous. That would make sense if it was like champion bags and you could constantly use WZ commendations to buy them. However with a RNG, daily only way to get better gear there is no point in doing WZ past the daily requirement which is usually a total of 30 minutes at most. Not to sound like a cocky bastard either but I do not need BM gear to be "good", I do considerably well it most WZ and am in the top tier of PvPers on my server, but I want to remain competitive in the top brackets. Considering almost all of the pre1.1 BMs and many who hit BM almost a week after me are full BM with maybe a single piece missing, for me to be missing 6 pieces puts me at a disadvantage. To address the other person talking about gear grinding, this is an MMORPG, gear is a major part, if not the main reason why people play. Spending time and effort to give the player an edge through gear is a satisfying feeling. If I wanted to play a 100% skill based PVP game I would go play an FPS or an RTS. Getting your gear maxed out and theorycrafting stats is the fun of competitive play in an MMO. Don't even get me started on the bull-**** of patch 1.1 and changes to champion bags, completely screwed over the advantage gained by everyone who grinded to BM pre-1.1 and those who grinded through all the duplicate champion tokens. The non-RNG change is a welcome sight to champion bags, but someone who grinds WZ for two days can almost have full champion which before took many of us weeks to do playing for over 8 hours a day. Ditch all the RNG from the PVP gear. Put guaranteed steady and meaningful progression in PvP gear. The pace before was correct but the method was off with the duplicates setting the pace, instead set the cost of the PvP items to dictate the progression pace of pvp gear. I have high hopes for Rated-WZs and hope that we see some thoughtful progression and rewards for those who put in time, effort, and skill.
  8. Exactly. There is no incentive to play when one cannot make guaranteed progress toward completing their goals. You can get a total of 16 Battlemaster bags a week, based on my numbers, I have nothing to show for a little over three weeks of play time except a nice pile of useless champion commendations that cannot be used even for enhancements and mods as the duplicates from the old champion bags fulfilled that requirement.

Insane sustained DPS, great survivability and with all our amazing cooldowns aside, we have a 15% damage bloodlust that allows your team to pretty much drop someone instantly in the opener.
  10. Fairly sure a sample size of 32 should show an effect. I am a pre-1.1 BM. Not an exaggeration, it is a story of heartbreak and agony. Also please explain my uptime with 9 out of 62...
  11. I am aware of how statistics work, blah blah blah sample size, blah blah blah per bag, I am complaining the system is terrible. Most people quit before they have it this bad.

  13. No, RNG is not GUARANTEED progression toward an item. Technically you could NEVER get a BM commendation. There are some people who have opened 40 bags with 0 commendations.
  14. A lot of top tier PvP players I know have quit already because of the RNG nonsense. Its hard to be competitive when the best gear in the game does not have some progressive route for attainment, and as has been said before it does not encourage you to play the game other then to log in and do dailies and log off. I personally am 8 for 58 Battlemaster Bags, this is a 13% droprate and as a pre1.1 BM (who did not get gear before patch) to not have almost a complete set of gear by now having done the dailies every single day since 1.1 is complete ********. BioWare needs to make a progressive system that allows for people to make guaranteed progression toward the best gear and in my opinion need to make it grind-able and not a daily quest as to promote actually playing the game. The changes to champion bags are a welcomed sight as every bag progresses you toward new gear, while I think the champion gear should cost more with how many commendations they give you per bag, it is at least a step in the right direction of NON-RNG. But yea OP, come talk to us when you go weeks without getting a piece of gear from those RNG bags and you will have some concept of how bad it can screw you over.
