  4. You always want to get your HoTs spread as quickly as possible as crits proc your upperhand, which gives you your quick cast heal. Your bread and butter is spamming emergency med pack when players are under 30 percent, as this automatically refreshes upperhand. HoTs and emergency med packs can be used on the fly. When stationary make sure to be crouching so you can't be leaped to.

  6. I don't know what scoundrels / operatives some of you guys have been going up against but I can assure you they had no clue what they were doing. I finish snipers / slingers with over 60 percent health normally, depending on whether hunker down was on CD and whether I cleansed sab charge in time. Snipers / slingers have amazing damage and great utility, but nothing they do changes the fact that you can move 2m and force them to either: A. move, negating hunker down and exposing them to leaps for a few seconds OR B. Sit there and do no damage.

  8. ^ This. Make sure to use sab charge in coordination w/ back blast for your biggest burst until 36-40. Vital shot is very important as it is the only way to refresh your upper hand w/out flechette round. Make sure to use it on all targets you intend on killing.

  10. Seriously though. People ***** and moan about hunker down all the time, move 2 feet into LoS and they have to move if they want to keep attacking you, effectively putting that on cool down. It's the funniest on civil war. If you can't 1v1 or at least last forever against a slinger / sniper on this map...just lol.
  11. The class is incredibly strong, if there is no LoS we can kill people in 5-6 seconds flat. The reason they aren't overpowered is because every single map has places to easily LoS a slinger / sniper where the main battles take place, essentially negating a slingers damage or causing them to move, opening them up to being jumped to. On my vengeance jugg I mark the slingers / snipers and when one gets up I jump to them instantly. They are essentially fodder at that point.
  12. That's why I'm leveling a scoundrel. There is no better class to take care of slingers. Scoundrels can easily: 1. stun a slinger to death 2. LoS to break hunker down / LoS to self heal 3. Dodge aim shot or series of shots, depending on the spec of the slinger 4 etc. There is nothing a slinger / sniper can do against a good op / scoundrel. They can use flashbang and delay their death. Luckily their aren't many good DPS scoundrels / operatives around, so good slingers never even really need to worry about their hard counter. WELL I'M COMIN' FOR YOU BABY
  13. Yeah if you keep dying over and over again whilst guarding a healer without any green numbers popping up on your toon, you aren't being healed. Phew, glad we took care of that.
  14. This would be cool, but there is a big difference between using your interrupt and using it intelligently. Like when people interrupt diagnostic scan and such.
  15. As you can see those players vastly outgear us though. I'm sure they won't be in such good shape once everyone catches up. The only classes that really need tuning that I've seen still seem to be merc, DPS Sin and maybe concealment operatives.
  16. While I have been smashed for 9k by the jugg whose image has been posted on this thread, I handled him pretty easy in the open field on my slinger even with 7k less HP. Smash is still the squishiest jugg spec; once saber ward runs out they are easy pickings. I can't speak for marauder because I have never run smash on my marauder or my sentinal, but I would imagine it's a bit more survivable with it's undying rage talent.
  17. I'm sorry but if anything there is less skill in switching specs. The better team doesn't need to make adjustments to win. It's so stupid saying that this increases diversity or skill. It decreases both. How diverse is it when everyone switches to the same cookie cutter spec to meet a certain need? It just pidgeonholes specs and classes further into a niche roll and then exploits it when that roll arrives. puhlease. Once again I'm all for this in regs and it's definitely not an exploit but to sit there and say it adds skill and ****... Just lol.
  18. I field respec in warzones and I actually agree with this. Saying this allows "fluid" changes and more "diversity" is just ********. You're switching to dps on offense and tank on defense, it isn't brain surgery and it isn't unique. You should be restricted to the set up you brought into the warzone; that takes more synergy, that takes more skill. Everyone respeccing during a warzone is doing it to get an advantage and in no way will it EVER make things more diverse. If anything it makes things the same because everyone is changing to the exact same specs for the exact same points in a warzone. What a joke.
