If there was another chapter over 2-3 planets costing $40 I would have waited another 12 months and still be subscribed now. As some have said WoW does this type of end game better than SWTOR, I left that game for the stories.

I have nothing against rewarding people who buy cartel packs. I have no problem with cartel packs randomly dropping certificates that can be used at the vendor, after all they only sell stuff that is available in the CM, so no loss there if you don't want to participate. My only gripe is that it is linked to a reputation and as has been shown many times purchasing with credits will probably not be possible to even the reasonably dedicted player who does not play the GTN. Once the new cartel shipment comes in the old ones will not be buyable, assuming EA follows its current format so people have 4 months to buy there way to legendary rep with credits and the 5-600 cartel coinsthey receive a month, not possible for an average Joe in my opinion. Remove the rep porption and everything is fine I believe.

Agreed. I have no problem with a reward programme, just let the certificates randomly drop from crates, no need for a reputation. I unsubbed because of this but whilst this is a step , sorry Eric it's not enough to make me resub. Removing the rep aspect is the only thing that will suffice.

Do you really need it spelt out. MMO's have a thing called reputations that you grind by playing the game. People like to grind rep. Rep should not be linked to the cartel market. You want a loyalty programme fine drop certificates in boxes and let them be sold at the vendor no need to link it to a reputation. Anyway it's not much of a 'loyalty' programme when it is only awarded for buying packs, what about people that spend coins on other items, it's like a supermarket having a loyalty programme for the delicatessen only.

Oh forgive me it's a rep in an MMO, but its not an MMO rep, and you suggest what I said was silly . I'm not after an advantage I'm after a rep to grind that doesn't cost real money, to me beating on one NPC for 20 minutes is silly, different strokes I suppose.

I'd be happy if they put in a vendor and the certificates dropped from the boxes, no problem, but linking it to a rep, which is something that I consider my end game, i.e. maxing out reps because I have no desire to raid, makes it P2W for my style of play, therefore I'm out. Don't worry though they'll get to your style of play eventually.

Last quater it was pre-order the 'expansion'. As you can't throw out an expansion every quarter watch to see these new assignments every 3 months just to top up the quarterly figures. Yay conspiracy theorists unite

I don't raid in this game so my end game before levelling an alt is to grind reps. The only defence I see people saying is either its 'fluff' or buy it on the GTN. Well if you are happy to have people buy 'my end game' on the GTN I'm not. It's a repution, what's so hard to understand? Or the oh it's just fluff arguement - when 80-90% (made up figure but in my opinion accurate) of rep vendor gear is on/going to be on this one vendor, your arguement falls flat.
