  4. It;s because T2 scouts are totally overpowered, people don't want to fly those ships - they want to give opponents a chance And seriously - this is a sickness on every server, so don't count that switching server will change it.

  6. As I said before - shooting when you won't hit isn't bright. Shooting when you have a "small chance of hit" is different... sure, in open space fight it sucks, but near sat it is actually useful. And fun
  7. Seriously? I had a match with epic battle for B node, with mostly strikes and scouts (rarely seen a bomber, never got hit by mine or GS) and killing was pretty heavy on both sides. I can agree that gunships are ballanced in stock Domination (stock configuration = bad in close combat). In TDM though they have too much advantage.
  8. In TDM this was all about 'everybody with gunship in hangar hop into gunship'. In Domination bombers were disrupting the ballance as well (however, less people had bombers in hangar). Sure, there were few good matches (one TDM ended 49:50 from 49:48 ), but I think that it would be much better with only 2 basic ships allowed.

While I agree that they are worse than BLC, they have their usefullness - mostly in sat humping, where the ability to constant 'spray and pray' with frequency capacitor means at least one will hit. And when they hit, the shield arc regen is blocked, so in a war of attrition they have their use. Weak? Yes. Useless? no.

  14. Starfighter passes - but they won't do anything for subscriber, just increase f2p/preferred to subscriber level. Also, I forgot to add - CM versions of ships have 10% increase fo reqs gathered, because those ships are considered already 'mastered'.
  15. Well... The equipment cap is unaffected by payement. You will get the same gear at the end, regardless of being f2p or sub. There are no bonuses for p2p players except the progress speed. No damage bonus, no speed bonus etc. The only difference isspeed of progress - P2P players go 50% faster, excluding daily/weekly rewards that have the same value regardless of sub status. So, while it will take longer, f2p player can become an ace pilot as well.

I did the same mistake, buying in haste mats for conquest farming I had my revenge though - unsubbed for a month And seriously, don't know who had this brillant idea of placing comma after 3 digits but this person deserves to make the same mistake on ebay

  19. I am afraid it will be pretty little used. Both scouts that have it (Novabolt and Spearmark) have much better options (EMP field and Tensor Field respectively), so Sensor Beacon won't be a good option. It can have some use in Mesas TDM, in Domination maybe too (place in hard to get location so enemies won't bother with destroying it... or near sat), but I don't think it will be too good. EMP field is useable every 45 seconds and reduces accureacy by 20%, disables turrets and drones, destroy mines... Tensor Field is a must in higher level TDM. Sure, with teanplay it can be pretty nice (accuracy reduction is cumulative with other debuffs) but for solo que I'd suggest EMP/Tensor. Or Targetting Telemetry with Rocket Pods - pretty devastating for stationary targets ...

  21. I was talking mostly about stats records one game with not going optimal - your stats are lowered.
  22. in TDM with 'aces vs newbs' - no. If you show mercy, the newb will be killed for someone else, denying you the point. In Domination - sure, the best tactic for stats is to cap one sat (or no cap at all) then spawncamp. However, this will be also as frustrating for new players. Losing ;0:100 with no chance to fly to the sat at all will give the same frustration (maybe even more, since people KNOW that they are being farmed) than losing 0:1000. In a total wipeout 3-cap it is a struggle to record more than 30k damage or top 15 total kills + assists. The game just ends too quickly, and the enemy team is often so disorganized that you have to chase all over the map to pick up stats. The only stat that is likely to benefit from blowouts in either TDM or domination is Kill to Death Ratio... so you have one case of a stat that is going to benefit from blowouts and about a dozen that are negatively impacted by them. Blowouts suck for everyone, including veterans shooting for records. On Red Eclipse I have seen some guest characters joining Repside (that has a major advantage) then bragging about their stats. And they were pretty good players... so it isn't true for all situations. About 'to 3 cap or not to 3 cap' - I'd say - leave B or A/C in Denon - and 3-cap. Cap and fly away - so the other side can learn that it is better to stick to sat than chase you... however, this is my opinion only. The problem with "switching to weaker ships" is that we have only 5 slots in hangar. Since someone who mostly ques solo has to be prepared for any situation, having even one weaker ships hurt their
