  1. This is a very good point.. I have a strong suspicion that the Sith aren't especially racist (since power, cunning, and willpower are what's most important), but that the Empire is simply utilizing a tactic that's been done throughout all of human history: distract/control the population by directing them at someone else. Since humans seem to be a majority, the Empire just cons them into believing that aliens are beneath them, or taking their jobs/economy/women/etc. "It's because of those filthy aliens that you're living in poverty! (totally not because we're funneling zillions of creds into a huuuge space station)"
  2. The outside deck of the sky carrier does not have any Starship hooks unless you convert the PVP arena hook into 4 of them. That's what I did to convert it into more of an aircraft carrier.
  3. So whatever happened to that Resort Swimwear armor set that was previewed awhile back? The Rishi SH came out over a month ago, and we need something to wear to the beach!
  4. While I agree with the sentiment, the final defeat of Valkorion was more of a personal victory, and took place entirely within the PC's mind. As far as the rest of the galaxy was concerned, Valkorion was already killed a couple years ago when the Outlander "assassinated" him. Most of the galaxy just saw a series of tyrants use the Eternal Fleet to oppress them, with the Outlander possibly just being the next in line, so the only real celebrations to be had were already shown briefly on Odessen.
  5. What's with the sudden switch of everything for Light Lasers?
  6. As an Asian person, I can verify that Mako does indeed look like her age, and could pass for an Asian woman up to at least 30.
  7. Sorry, but that's a false equivalence. Let's not act like made-up, non-unique Legacy names are anything on the level of "private/personal" information like IRL home addresses, SSN's, and bank account numbers. If you want to use the workplace analogy, it would be equivalent to your colleagues knowing your last name, because Legacy names are literally the surname of your characters. And every workplace I've ever worked at for the past few decades has had everyone's last names clearly printed on cubicle nameplates, access badges/nametags, and the company directory.
  8. For both male Smugglers and male Sith Warriors, if you romance both your original female companions, you'll eventually be given an option to basically say, "Why not both?", with equally hilarious results.
  9. Oooh, that'll work? If so, I'll be joining you in transferring! Haha, maybe it was all a clever plot to get us to spend cc's on this workaround!
  10. I think of all the deaths and executions my characters have done, this one got to me the most. It’s probably the fact that it wasn’t really an execution, but an abandonment to die slowly, as they plead not to be alone. Of all my toons, I only did it once, just to see what would happen, and couldn’t bear to do it again.
  11. Why is that an issue? Conquest points bonus is no longer tied to having 100% filled strongholds.
  12. Not a bug. If you want music, you have to get one of the juke boxes.
  13. Mine is a reminder and shrine to one of the greatest things to ever be uttered on these forums (in Beta IIRC).
  14. I've had to close and restart SWTOR to get it working again when that happens.
  15. The base prices for DK/Coruscant are only 5k anyways, so the 3 credit promotion is hardly anything to lament the loss of.
  16. Hm, interesting that you use LLC's for Domination Imperium/Clarion. I prefer RFL's for the AP, which I find handy for use against satellites and bombers. It's also a fun ship to use to pry bombers out of little hidey-hole nooks. I roll a similar repair Imperium/Clarion, but with Shield Projector instead of Directional for a few reasons. First, it's easy to use, like Quick Charge. And in a big circling fight around a satellite, I won't get my lightly-shielded behind sniped. Plus, since I'll likely have allies near me, it's easier for the Projector to help them as well. I enjoy playing mobile support ship with this.
  17. That, plus cluttering up the nameplates over everyone's heads even more. Great, can't see anything because of the hovering paragraphs everywhere! I already have to turn off Friendly Player nameplates sometimes in large op groups just to see anything.
  18. ^ Yup, nailed it. Every time I hop into fleet, people are trolling/arguing about politics. I play this game to get away from all that.
  19. Firstly, do you know if that was the only Fleet Instance? Second, since that was primetime, it's also highly likely most players off elsewhere actually doing things.
  20. What type of ship(s) are you favoring/flying? Guarding a node would not trigger a "You are not contributing" warning, unless you're too far off the node. Just being within a certain radius of a controlled satellite racks up defense medals. If you are having trouble shooting things, maybe you would have an easier time contributing by flying a support ship like a T3 Strike (Imperium/Clarion) or T2 Bomber (Legion/Warcarrier). With self-heals and lots of HP, they can be quite tanky. Bomber drones can also take care of shooting things for you, if you're not too good with the regular blasters. For guarding a satellite, practice "threading the needle" to fly around and hug the surface of the satellite to avoid missile locks. I also usually guard while in "F2", for maximum longevity till backup arrives. Using Range sensors may give you additional time to detect incoming bogies and warn your teammates (ie "2 inc A" = "2 enemies incoming to node A"). Remember, you don't have to kill the enemy; just tie them up till backup arrives (assuming your team isn't useless). Better that you stay alive and prevent the cap than get risky trying to get a kill and dying in the process. If it's a Deathmatch, you can keep these support ships close to any gunship teammates, to help protect them from skirmishers, and/or to provide a fallback/rallying point for any friendly skirmishers that need to pull back and recover. Playing a support ship style like this won't usually rack up big kill #'s, but any real GSF pilot appreciates the contributions that good support players bring.
  21. It's like saying, "Babe, I'm sorry I said you looked fat in the red dress. Once I saw how fat the blue dress made you look, I realized the red dress wasn't so bad." See how well that goes over, lol
  22. Lol, a backhanded apology just as an excuse to continue crying about TLJ 7 months later.
  23. Correct, they're based on mustalids, ie otters. Welp, otter fur is renowned for its softness, so Leyta would be nice to hug, lol
  24. It does feel like it's been taking me longer just to zone into my strongholds than it used to, but I don't have hard numbers to quantify it.
