THIS WAS ABOUT SINGLE TARGET now i really really really wanna see you Watchman 700k SS. since the smart guy doesn't know the difference between Single Target and AoE. Please enlighten me. For one Battlemaster gear is a joke right now and thats not gonna make you some god in pvp Regardless of the damage reduction the gain doesnt compare to Full rakata. Please stop posting SS's of your AoE spec'd sent. And yes, everyone on Elysium knows me. I've proven time and time again i am one of the top sents on the server. You just made my day posting a SS of a Force Sweep Crit Voidstar where nubs group up as they drop down...as you can easily tell your team facerolled them. I bet you was looking like crazy for a screenshot of that 500k Force Sweep cit. I really wish you would of highlighted the damage to see what ur biggest crit was

why are u basing my damage off of every single heal, and the total amount healed from the other team was 626,826, so a tad shy from your calculation. also..the 640k with only 19 kills def isnt what any team needs..in voidstar u need em all die so they sit behind the glass, but w/e... again, this post has nothing to do will waving an epeen..it shows what the Watchman spec can do....I use no pvp gear and run full Rakata with only Columi Chest/gloves/

I personally know of a sentinel doing 640k with 19 kills because he beat on the healer the entire match. but pls SS this 700k+.. lol sorcs and sages can break 700k with AoE...this is single target and again. i'm not saying im the best sentinel..i watch twitch.tv to learn just as everyone else can.

Who wouldn't be pleased with a 542k total damage with 51 kills...its my first time passing 500k as watchman and i've read on these forums that watchman never seem to get high damage in wz's. You may think this is just for my epeen, well sorta..but im proud to dish it out. I use no AoE..maybe 25-30k of that came from sweep. Im not a Sage, not some AoE spamr...no tracer missle/grav round spam'r. Im a sent, and Proud that I am. Sorry you think i'm full of myself, that was never the intention.. I'm just a player that is giving info out on the benefits of watchman

I play on Elysium and Republic outnumber Imp 3 to 1 atleast.. We hardly loose when it's Rep vs Imp, but gettin so tired of Rep vs Rep Huttball.. CAN YOU SAY, "SERVER MERGES" pls.

another thing...51 kills is fine...I stay on my target until its dead. Not tab target so i can rack up more beause i tap'd em with a slash.

im 4 ranks from battlemaster...the stat gain imo outweighs the 10% extra dmg you get from expertise. i will more than likely switch over once i start getting battlemaster. and i'd rather run around with orange gear than look like a frign toolbox they came up with for Jedi Sentinels..atleast maruders have decent looking armor. can't wait for the changes

no not really...overload saber burns for 1600 and cauterize for 800...that dmg adds up. and yes there is pletny of argument that combat sent is superior in pvp...

oh..and bee tee dubs..my 540 with 50+ kills is better than 640 with 19 kills..lol

i use zen everyime its up, with overload saber..unless the cd has a few seconds. overheal doesn't count towards healing btw.. 700k...yeh..are you just beating on there dps while there healer heals away.. I use no pvp gear, 0 expertise...but 700k..i'd like to see a screeny of that one. most aoe spammers can't do that unless ur running against scrubs

opps, should of placed this post in the Sentinel forums, and not just Jedi knight. But anyways, as a Solid Single Target dps Watchman sents are insane and I myself feel we are a tad OP. Not by much...but 400k wz's is very common nowadays for me. Today was my first time breaking 500k and I was very proud of it. SO, to all those saying watchman are trash in pvp...proof is given.. We have the same burst as combat, more survivability and more utility. Personal preference is always first, but just letting you know watchman spec'd sent a ****** in pvp.. meh, its personal prefernce imo.. I dont have leg slash on my hotbar and its just one less button to push. using leg slash is just a dps loss on your target and a waste of 2 focus. use the slow with cauterize and there not getting away from you.

A singularity loaded Sweep will not hit a single target harder than merc slash..what/where are you dreaming on that one. maybe multiple targets added together yeah, but this has nothing to do with hitting multiple targets. @the guy claiming burns get cleansed..lol..who cleanses burns, there healer is struggling to keep ya up in the first place and if they miss that heal your dead. Nobody is saying combat is ineffective and if thats your cup of tea then so be it. You can have your 6 seconds of 2 possibly 3 attacks on someone for decent dmg, but other than that your a one hit wonder. I've played both and have tested both. All that utility + the damage a skilled watchman can bring is one sick cocktail of arsekickn. Quesh world boss helped me alot with making my decision. As combat I've only dropped him to 240k before he enraged..As watchman I dropped him to 112k before enrage. Enrage timer is roughly 6 mins give or take. but all in all, the burst of Overload Saber + Cauterize + Merc Slash beats out on any 3 attacks a combat sent can do during his 6 seconds of 100% armor pen...even with zen the watchman burst is still superior in my eyes

lol @ the guy saying Zen is what makes watchman have burst. My burns seem to crit everytime, and on top of that..I can merc slash you for 4.5k+...Highest Merc Slash I've done to date is 6,719. Inspiration + rakata pwr relic + rakata pwr adrenal. I've tried combat, and the only burst I see is with the 100% armor pen..while ur waiting for your precision slash to come off cd, my dots are rolling for 1.4k from overload and 700from cauterize. then wait..here comes a 4.5k merc slash, oh snap refresh of cauterize then force stasis while you bleed out...then pop dispatch your arse and your dead..nothing you can do about it. imho..the watchman sentinel is by far the superior spec in both pve and pvp. Its still all about personal preference..but combat just seems like the 6 second hero. then you gotta force camo out of there. But i feel a nerf bat coming, because there isn't one class a half witted watchman sent can't destory.

i've spent much thought between watchman vs combat.. Easy solution to dispel which is the better spec. Go to Quesh, coords are (300, 200) and see how much you can drop the Quesh World Boss before he Enrages.. The enrage timer is a lil bit over 6 mins. The boss has a lil over 800k health. I did 4 attempts. 2 as Combat and 2 as Watchman. Combat 1st attempt dropped him to 242k 2nd attempt dropped him to 236k Watchman 1st attempt dropped him to 123k 2nd attempt dropped him to 112k All in all, the results in my eyes are conclusive. Watchman is the better spec. All 4 attempts I had the same buffs, same gear. No outside help. No companion nadda. So there ya go. It's still all about personal preference, and this is a pve comparison, but I still use watchman in pve. Free heals are always nice.

i dont use pvp gear...mostly rakata, and a 2 columi. 48 expertise is all i have from the relic..

wow, thanks.. I never noticed that tooltip damage changes with gear. Thats awesome.. My merc slash tooltip says 2659-3142, and my normal crits are 5k. Highest I've hit for was 6719 with Rakata Attack Adrenal and power relic. I have both Rakata weps, with 28% crit chance, 70% surge and 380 power.

very simple solution...remove all gear but weapons. have sent/maruader with same weapons and there ya go..see what they crit for..easy solution

I used Kira until I got Doc..after that it was all over...Doc is a monster My Doc has all Columi except weapon and implants...Champion Weapon and Crafted implants with Aug. He is one beast of a healer. With Doc well geared you can solo the Heroic 2 Dailies on Belsavis and Ilum. All my companions have tier 1 or higher gear (pvp/pve) I just can't seem to let Doc set on the shelf that long. I've tried using other companions, but imo..there just Crafting slaves. I love doc.

yes lets keep adding more non-sense to the pvp aspect how about..lets just give every class a immobolize that has unlimited range so when the timer starts we can just cc each other..how fun is that.
