the only downside to Watchman come 1.2 is you can't burn focus through cyclone slash anymore. until burns get affected by armor/stats..it will more than likely be the go to spec. 31/5/3 with 2 points to throw around comes with amazing ST and now some decent AoE dmg from Swirling Winds. and your perspective about watchman being a cowards way out is entirely off bases..I respect your opinion but honestly..what does choosing the watchman tree have to do with being a coward. It may still be the better of the 3, but imo..it's still the harder to achieve success with. In any case. Whoever runs the sentinel/marauder has to suck playing at it. We are in a good place pre 1.2 and more than likely the threads of how Overpowered we will be post 1.2 will increase. They turned almost every other class into glass and us into carbon fiber..of course not everyone succeeds as sentinel/marauder but there has to be some give and take. Overall we got a decent buff/fix whatever you wanna call it. while everyone else got ram'd. I give it 2 weeks post 1.2 before we are hit with a nerf bat..and more than likely to hard.

I use Plasma Burst Device and BM Power Relic. I also play watchman spec. For pve.. would recommend the Proc relic I have. It's elemental damage and bypasses armor. The Kinetic and Energy ones don't. I'm sure they probably round off about the same. Plasma Burst Device has 30% chance to do 168 damage. Now each time it proc's it always does that damage. Bonus Damage does not modify the proc damage. The only thing I have found to increase the damage is Juyo form. Each stack increases all damage by 2%. At 5 stacks the proc is 185 damage w/o a crit. I haven't done testing to see if the critical modifier plays a part. It probably does because I've seen it crit for a little under 400 damage. Now for the matrix cube which gives 58 strength and 24 crit. Each point of str gives .2 bonus dmg so thats 11.6 bonus damage to all attacks. Not sure how much that figures in. I've only done a little bit of testing with it. Don't really pay attention much when we are in HM Op's. I'm sure Inspiration increases the damage of the relic. If anyone would happen to play the Watchman spec and have the Kinetic or Energy Proc relics test there's on any mob. I just wanna know what damage it does at 5 stacks of Juyo form. Not crit's. Also not sure if there are damage reduction differences from HM bosses or regular trash.

I have a 50 Assassin with the spec you are referring to as being OP but wow. You have no idea. I also have a 50 Sentinel that imho..is by far the hardest nut to crack. Sentinels now compared to Sentinels after 1.2...lol, if ur not a Sent/Mara then you might wanna roll one. The tank spec'd dps wearing assassin/shadow comes nowhere close to being as effective at dishing out the damage or surivial as the sent/mara. It's not even a coin-flip. The gap will grow after 1.2. Sent/Mara will be way ahead of every other class its not even funny. Some call them fixes for Sent/Mara...but we got buffed. Fixes or not, and imho..we needed tuned down some. 1v1 and in group play..just a bit op..

It's a simple question, "Why are Burns cleansable" Burns are probably 70%ish of my damage. Can I have a skill that sticks my hand out in the air and stops Tracer Missile/Grav Round, or better yet..let me hold my saber in the air and absorb all the Force Lightning/Pebbles I get. How about a skill that allows me to make a hole in my body that lets Aimed Shot fly right on by. Does it seem logical to allow 70%ish of an advanced classes damage be nullified by someone cleansing it off. To me it doesnt. Now i know at this time. Most classes that have cleanses don't utilize it. But come rated WZ's there will be a lot more competent players in there that know to use it. Thoughts?

combat really didnt get much..i'd say the Inflammation buff was better Focus spec will now how something else to do while waiting for CD's to come up..although i do like the fact the slash crits will have a chance to give 2 focus, but imo..it shouldnt require a form Focus may be the new king for pvp though i do give you that.

YEAH!!!! Lets give another check mark on the board on something your doing that other games should have never done. crafting gear should never equal that of Raid/ops gear. Having an Aug slot of an item that drops from HM KP or HM EV is a horrible idea. (For Example: People taking Synthweaving and making there bracer/belts with AUG slots then dropping that profession for Biochem while still getting to keep the items made.) Every Rakata/Reusable item that Biochem makes requires you to be a Biochem to use the item..Thats BS. Also, we can make Implants. Columi Implants not Rakata, so we can't pay 19k and Train for a Rakata Implant to try and get Aug slot like other professions can. Your crafting system is fail. Lets just give everybody the exact same loot and call it a day aye. Cause thats what it seems like your doing. Carebears will be carebears and they will ***** moan and groan until they get there way. People should have to work for there stats..not just get it. I know you wanna look cool and all with some of the orange stuff and I agree with that...but having Aug slots on it is just BOGUS

we don't need buffs, the watchman tree needs some sacrifices for the amount of dmg it can do plus the heals and with the 2 most OP abilities in the game Force Camo and Guarded by The Force...basically 9 seconds of Immunity if your spec'd right Keeping burns rolling is tedious, but possible. and lots of burns crit. I have 19k hp buffed so I'm getting heals for 380 all the time. Sents are usually the first targets since there the ones who should be beating/interrupting healers. With Zen pop'd you heal the people in your group which i feel should be the entire Ops..not just group members. And that 819k is Impressive, but you can beat on healers all day long and never interrupt them and blow 1 mil dmg easy. There are more issues @ hand over Sents, like sitting there with a ranged attack (Tracer Missle/Grav Round) and spam it non stop over and over for 2k..must be nice..Give a shorter CD on merc slash please

oh and crit rating...some people say 25%, some say 28% surge is garbage anymore and I wouldn't go over 70%

your crit is way to high imho, but thats just me I sit on 1756 strength which yes I know crit gets DR from it but bonus damage doesn't. every 122 points of str gives 24.4 bonus dmg. Im @ 25.80% crit chance 482.8 Bonus Damage 73% surge which i will be dropping down some soon 101% accuracy, which i will dropping down to around 95.5%. I good way to measure whats best for the spec you play is to go to Quesh and see how far you can drop the world boss before he hits his enrage timer. He has roughly a 6 min enrage. Lowest I've got him to is 112k, but I've also upgraded a few things since I last tried. This was all done in Watchman spec. 242k was the lowest I could get him to as Combat. So stick some different stats in there and see what works best for your playstyle

Watchman Sentinels or a tad OP in pvp. We have so much utility + healing + defensive cooldowns. It takes awhile to get use to playing as sentinel and once you get it down..Its easy street from there. Nothing needs changed. We are hardly the worse class, and if your being kited then your doing something wrong. I choose Inflammation over Leg Slash. Just doesn't seem to synergize well with our class. I wish they would bump up the slow to 50%, but still we are the strongest 1v1 class..plus we are awesome Ball runners if your spec'd right. In the beginning I thought sentinel was retarded in pvp. Now I would never go back to my 50 sin. 1-49 brackets can be a tad frustrating, but just wait for 50. U will love the Sent in pvp.

I pvp in my pve gear...don't really notice a difference atm. I have full champ gear sitting in bank. 1 more rank til 60 then i'll think about modding some BM gear. Until then I'll stay with full Rakata minus the chest/helm which is Columi with Rakata mod/enhancement bonethrasher and soa are being *****es to me and not dropping Im at 1782 Str self buffed. Got lucky this past week and both main and off hand rakata weps dropped..So i ripped out the mods and tossed em in my columi pieces with lower str. Trying to break that 1.8k but like you I am a Biochem with the Rakata might stim. I still count it since its a permanent buff.

yeah..i want that helm from karagga bad. We've done him twice on Nightmare, first time we got 2 mounts and 2nd time we only got 1 mount. No helm yet, but the difffernce from light and medium isn't much since we aren't tanks. I would through in the Might Armoring 25, Advanced Deft Mod 25A and the Advanced Adept Enhancment 25... 122 strength 105 endurance 48 power 51 Surge Those are what I want on all my modable gear and currently have 3 pieces like it. Waiting on more extra drops...Although Surge blows after your around 70%..I might just through in some crit. I just like the power. I really wish I could get ahold of a crit/pwr enhancement but not sure those even exist..Anyone know.

he is probably a biochem so take 112 Str away. I have 1758 Str at the moment. but i also run 3% more crit and im also a biochem. Once I have my rakata chest and helm I will have 1800+ str. then i will start modding with the Rakata str mod. One thing you might want to look into is to get rid of that belt. Pick up the Civilian Pilot belt and through that Might armoring in there. Thats what I did. 108 str/72 end/ 34 pwr..its sexy. Can't wait to get ahold of some bracers to do the same. I swear they put Guardian Armoring on the sentinel rakata belt and bracers

Willpower effects any force bonus damage. I have collected all WP datacrons just because it helps with burns

grats. and what chest are you using btw. i have 2 Might armoring from karagga..one is in belt and the other waiting for bracers...take off the stim then post pick.. I have everything Rakata but chest and helm...Have Columi weaponmaster implant with aug,..tryingto make another though.. eveything u have is basically what i got..just need to get more Rakata Str/end/pwr mods 1758 str 28% crit 71% crit Multi 100% accuracy 465.5 bonus dmg
