No kidding. I found it to be the hands down most boring class play as for both PvP and PvE. BH merc is the mirror to Trooper commando, the play the exact same. The animations are different.

Adding 20 seconds to your travel route can mean the difference between scoring and dying before reaching the goal line.

I agree... Its sad that it has to come to this, but expertise > skill once you hit 50 *puts on anti-troll suit to protect against the incoming level 50 baddies claiming that the reason they are steam rolling fresh 50s is because of their skill, not expertise* -
That not OP, thats just a class that requires no skill. The reason he is steam rolling people is because he has boatloads of expertise.

True dat, cover needs to be buffed/reworked. Right now snipers/gunslingers are at a significant disadvantage.

The trooper Storyline (up to 46 now) is not bad compared to the to the other republic classes *cough*consular*cough* but the bounty hunter story line is still better IMO. However you are right about the gear. Bounty Hunters only look like bounty hunters for seriously 9 levels, 40-49. Troopers look like troopers starting at 15 all the way to 50.

If you really need someone else guarding/healing you in order to do a good job healing, then you need to reroll to another class.

Yea I have no idea why people say that you can gear out your companions. Companions become useless for anything other than crafting once you hit 50 . -
