  1. My level 12 can make 2k in twenty minutes, you cant be serious about calling this griefing. Also if you are on a pvp server and someone else engages you in pvp its not griefing, its pvp. God people are soft these days.

    I would argue that more people would que since pvp will be a more enjoyable experience for the majority now and we will have both better games and shorted ques. And yes I much rather have quality over quality. If we could compound these changes with server merges or cross servers ques we could weed out the quitting (warzones are more fun) and see short que times (we play warzones more often).

    How about we just take 100 comms from anyone who leaves or DCs and offer them no way to get them back? That would incentivize people to stay. Right now people are icentivized to leave and we all can agree that is stupid. Also before anyone even says it, if you are consistently DCing you are just as detrimental as someone who leaves. This system would also encourage people to fix their connections issues instead of shafting 7 players every time you DC. Lastly leavers do not help you win games, people might have stories of when someone left and than his team cameback. The vast majority of the time if someone leaves you will be outperformed by the opposing team from that point on.
  4. WOW. Thats really impressive considering they took out WZ's ending prematurely in 1.2. From the patch notes "Warzones will no longer shutdown early due to population imbalance." Cool made up story bro.
  5. The best adrenals, stims, and medpacks in the game are not exclusive to biochem. You can still maximize your stats without biochem. /thread
  6. Ha, try having both Slicing and Bioanalysis. Nether of those 2 professions are important enough to merit +anything from the droid. Be happy your professions at-least got something. Only 1 of my crew skills is eligible for a bonus and its a +2 eff.
  7. Easy as that, for three straight games i have been placed into losing warzones with no chance of winning because of the actions others have taken. Leavers should not be rewarded with faster reques, and quicker completions of dailies. Please make it so that if someone leaves a WZ early they lost 100 comms at-least and cannot reque again for some small amount of time. If someone can supply a good reason why leaver's should face no penalties i would love to hear it
  8. The bonuses depend on the mods, not the item they are placed in. So in short War hero mods in anything will be war hero bonuses.
  9. Funny how changing our mortar volley to behave just like the BH death from above has been since day 1 is a buff in some peoples eyes. BH have enjoyed this awesome sill that starts up quicker with 5 segments of damage over 3 seconds since day 1. Don't get mirroring confused with buffing.
  10. I read the whole thing i i agree on 95%. The 5% i don't agree upon is the 10/20 comms for getting 13/18 medals. As a healer it is actually bad for my team if i strive for 18 medals. Capping the medals at 8 so people don't continue to farm medals is a good thing in my eyes. Placing high medal count rewards just incentives dumb number padding like having solo death matches out in the field. Quality post overall.
  11. Lol, your joking right? My friend hit 50 the week before 1.2. He now has full BM and is valor rank 42. It is not hard to get BM.
  12. Are we even sure if the old system sends out 8 invites? I have so many low population games I wonder if the minimum threshold is closer to 6. Ether way the fact that a game starts with uneven populations is a joke. Even if BW cant make the OP's system work, they could probably make it so that a warzone will not start unless it is even for both sides. (As in you cant leave spawn before teams are balanced)

  15. I have biochem, bioanalysis, and slicing on my 50. Need less to say BW only thinks that 10 of the 12 crafting skills are allowed to have bonuses. Also the only bonus I qualify for is +2 efficiency, which is next to useless when you craft in bulk or crafting while logged off. To take advantage of the seconds you are saving you need an absurd amount of mats, and to be playing the game the second your order ends. Both of which are unlikely and unpractical. I guess everyone cant have +crit, but if you gonna shaft 3 professions don't make them highly paired professions. I guess BW really does hate Biochem and Slicing.
  16. Healers are far from useless. We single handedly still win games, and 1 healer has a greater impact on a game than just 1 DPS. I know nerfs suck, but these were needed bad. Before a healer could tank 2 dps and be healing someone else. Now the healer must heal himself if getting focues, or have his team help him. These changes are a good thing.
  17. Yea im real short sighted because I expected nothing and got something. I would have spent the next 15 anyways, so yes i do value a free month fully.
  18. I remeber playing LoL and the servers would go down for 2+ days and given 0 to compensate. Yet somehow when SWTOR goes down for 12 hours, its the only 12 hours in a week that some can play. People just need to calm down BW is working to get servers up.
  19. Do people realize if they that the 30% reduction is not really a big deal. If BW wanted to they could leave healing the same and increase damage scaling and health the same amount and it would have the same effect? They wouldn't even need a buff to do these they could just program it into the item scaling. Also what does it matter if we have a 30% healing reduction than others who are in pve? If PVE didn't exist no one would talk about a 30% healing reduction because that would be our new basis. We don't play against PVE's metrics in PVP, we play against others PVPers, so any nerfs to PVP are nerfs applied to both teams. Also before this patch our heals greatly outshined damage. The expertise adjustment was so that healers could not survive 3v1s, but that they still could operate and function in 1v1's and do moderately well in 2v1s.
  20. So i lead alot of threads and topics against BW as i disagreed with a large amount of what they did. But after looking at the Dev tracker, it obvious they have the players still in mind. So ill leave with this. BW its obvious you care, sorry the patch had some hiccups, but a large part of the community appreciates what you all do.   21. How can some people claim that a respec isn't necessary. If my spec changes depending on the nerfs/buffs that went into talents in a patch, that requires me to respec my talents. Some talents that I used before are no longer worth the talent points or in some cases i might value a talent more relative to the other options. That is restructuring the talent tree. Is 98K alot to pay? no. Is it annoying? Yes
  22. 4-8 second deaths are simply not true, unless their is a giant gear issue. If you really are dyeing in 2 stuns, reconsider your positioning and not getting into that situation. Also between medpac, shield, bacta infusion, trauma probe, heavy armor, and our knockback we have plenty of defensive measures for when we get opened on. Many other CMs and myself included have had equally geared dps 2v1 us for extended periods of time, usually long enough to pell others from the objective. As for current spec im using http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#800dfRzRdcdkqZMckM.1 You only really need 1 point in first responder since the second point with high crit rate only increased uptime by around 20-30%. Also with the nerfs to ammo, i rather have 1 more in cell capacitor, and less alacrity actual helps our ammo issues currently. The only points i would consider reshuffling would be the 2 from heavy trooper into med zone, but I find that with the bubble on I never die anyways and often the bubble is popped so I can heal teammates uninterrupted, not myself. These 2 talent point are more personal preference. Lastly for rotation it is largely the same, i just have to stop myself from casting when my teammates don't need it immediately if i'm at 4-6 ammo and everyone should spam some hammer shot and field aid. *This is a pvp viewpoint

    Great patch

    I wanted to add that i *****ed up a storm leading up to this patch, being a combat medic and all. However this patch is very fun, and for once my healing is balanced. So if i am gonna mock you when you suck, I owe you this. Thanks BW.
  24. I want to say i am a healer, and i love the new changes. DPS can kill me if they need to, but i can still perform my role if i play well. I am still very hard to kill and providing a great service to my team. I think the small majority of the healers are crying because what they perceived as skill in 1.1.5 was just class imbalances. Healers are in a fine spot right now, aside from maybe the pvp medals.
