  1. I agree, but it's not as big a deal for me know with adaptive gear. At this point, you can have her in a bikini and not lose a beat.
  2. This one? http://www.oldrepublic.net/content/attachments/1519d1331595210-male-si-force-masters.jpg/ I love that one too. I wish the shells didn't require valor.
  3. Well, it's been talked about to death on these forums and it's really no secret that a lot of people completely hate most of the designs when it comes to end game gear. My question is, do you secretly really love one of these supposed atrocities? For me, it's definitely.... http://swtor.mmozone.de/wp-content/upload/2012/03/sith-inquisitor.jpg I don't know why, but I love this outrageous armor set. Way more than any of the other SI end game stuff. I doubt I'll ever take it off! Though I do plan on changing the green color to maybe a dark grey once 2.1 hits. What's yours?
  4. They honestly should move it into the level 55 HM queue. A group full of 55's will still have to worry about the mechanics, but that's it. At least it would eliminate fresh 50's in quest gear.
  5. I've gotten it in the morning and at night. The one time I finished it, I did so on my DPS guardian (I've also ran it on my Vanguard and Sorcerer). We got up to the Droid boss and we wiped twice. The healer and other DPS then bailed and the tank and I queued up again. We got a new healer and DPS and proceeded to complete the FP (though we did wipe on the pipe boss a couple times due to someone getting thrown). Other than that one run, I've gotten tanks with 17K HP that get wiped out on the first boss. People that die trying to run around the lava at the beginning and drop after cursing. The droid room boss giving people fits. The pipe boss with people insisting that they were "RIGHT UNDER HIM, WTH?!?", etc. And then there's the people that say "Ugh..." and abandon as soon as they realize which FP they're in. Honestly, through out all of these runs, I've only gotten to the final boss once (the lone time I completed it). Does anyone else remember the Zandalari troll dungeons in WOW? That's what this place reminds me of. I like the FP, but I can't stand PUGing it.
  6. The Protestant says "God is good!" The Catholic says "God is great!" The Jedi says "What the heck are you two talking about?" Or "A Protestant, a Catholic, and a Sith walk into a bar..........." The Protestant says "God is good!" The Catholic says "God is great!" The Sith says "Yes, yes I am."
  7. Addictions are for the weak. Grow some will power and have fun.
  8. I'm so sick of waiting in a DPS queue for 45-50 minutes, getting Lost Island and then either having people drop automatically or drop after one wipe. I've completed ONE lost island run since RoTHC was released even though I've been placed in it 7 or 8 times. They need to either remove it from the regular 50 queue (place it with the level 55 heroics) or nerf the stupid thing even further into the ground. Also, I'm not saying that it's hard because it's not. But, when fresh 50s with 15K HP are getting placed in there, you have a recipe for failure every time. It shouldn't take over three hours to finish the GF daily just because you were unlucky enough to draw that place. The only saving grace so far is that I've never gotten in twice in a row.... *goes back to waiting in the queue*
  9. I'm currently wearing all Campaign/Blackhole gear with my Sorcerer, except I'm missing the chest piece. I'm currently building classic coms for the campaign version, but I was curious which flashpoint drops the chest so I can try to do it once a day after my dailies. Thanks!
  10. Jedi Knight - It just feels grand and epic with a very cool twist. Trooper - Think Jedi Knight without the force. Very Grand battle for the fate of the Galaxy type feel. Inquisitor - This is definitely more of a personal journey, but it's very fun none the less. I love the companion interaction. Smuggler - This one can be fun at times and it probably has the best over all companion compilation. Bounty Hunter - Wow... MEH! I honestly didn't care about anything that was going on at all. The companions are meh, the love interest for males comes off creepy, and the story as a whole is very uninteresting. I'm still early on in the Agent, SW and Consular stories, but the Agent will likely be the next one that I delve into fully.
  11. - Appearance customization - Appearance tab (paying 200K to swap mods every time a cool new CM outfit is released is crazy) - Dual Spec
  12. With the legacy repair droid, no one really has any reason to now.
  13. Who said you had to have anything against it in order to not want to watch it? Some people get grossed out seeing anyone make out. I don't care who kisses what, personally, but I still don't enjoy seeing two men kiss. Which believe it or not, is perfectly fine. Regardless of what anyone says or thinks, it certainly doesn't make me a homicidal maniac, like the other poster suggested. If I heard a gay man say "gross" when a guy and girl kiss, I would probably giggle. I certainly wouldn't get offended and upset over it.
  14. So, people that don't like seeing the same gender make out with one another are violent closet homosexuals? So, It's ok for your brain chemistry to tell you that the opposite sex is icky, but it's not ok for straight people to not want to see gay people make out. What a wonderful double standard.
  15. "Bioware, I didn't preorder in time, it's Friday, and I want to play on Mekeb this weekend!!! Make it happen or I'll invent lame reasons as to why you've ruined the game!!"
  16. No, I responded exactly the way I posted in the OP. I did send the Commando a nasty PM before ignoring her AFTER I was kicked, but even that mainly consisted of them learning how to play.
  17. I personally only play Males for that very reason. It's just easier to relate to the character. To each their own though.
  18. I agree completely. As a content patch, this "expansion" is ok. As an expansion (regardless of cost), it feels very underwhelming. I mean, would you rather pay 10 for this, or 40 for an expansion the size of WOWs Burning Crusade? RotH - New planet with several small quest hub areas. - One new Op - 1 new active ability per class - 5 new levels Buring Crusade - Outland, which consisted of 7 HUGE new quest areas. All 7 having multiple quest hubs and each with their own very distinctive look and feel. - 2 new races - Over TWEENTY completely new Dungeons (flashpoints) - New profession - several new Raids (ops) - New Battleground (warzone) - 10 new levels - Each class received several new abilities - Each faction received a class that was previously only available to the opposite faction. - Flying mounts I'm not saying that 10 was too much for RoTH... but it is very underwhelming regardless of cost. I'd have rather had a monster expansion like the burning crusades and paid 40.
  19. It was a generator with Aim, Endurance, Power and Surge. It was a nice upgrade to my equipped generator (my equipped gen had all of those same stats... just less of them), so I needed on it.
  20. Generators are used for both DPS and healing. And since I was DPSing at the time (I never tank on this toon), I needed on a DPS upgrade. The Commando, also DPSing at the time, had ever right to need as well and if they would have won it, I would have played on. It all boils down to this player being ignorant of every part of the game that doesn't obtain to their main class. As a Vanguard, I have two choices. Shields or generators. Since I lose DPS and gain useless defensive bonus when I use a shield, the choice is obvious.
  21. Well, actually, the commando was DPSing, so they actually should have been shooting stuff. That comment was just a joke playing off the commando's assumption that a DPS Vanguard should only be needing on tank gear.
  22. The fact that the rest of the group typically agrees to these kind of vote kicks is the biggest issue. How about reading the reason and deciding instead of blindly clicking "yes"?
  23. To be honest, I normally have nothing but good experiences in pugs. Of course, I know my stuff and I never need on anything my PC can't use. Which has never been an issue before this particular pug. Honestly though... how do players like this commando play through 50+ levels without learning anything about the game? Thinking that a DPS class should be using a shield? Good grief.... I should have started telling "Why are you shooting stuff when you should be healing everyone!?!?!!"
  24. Yep... and with sound reasoning like "I hate you", how could they resist?
