  1. I'm not sure about the second half of your post but I definitely support the idea of having specific armor design based on advanced classes.
  2. Save your time and your money, I remember my reaction when I first tried it. I was looking at my computer with this face: .
  3. That would be a shame! Guess I'll just have to accomodate with the idea that it's not available in orange. Would like that they give us the ability to RE green/blue/whatever gear to get a schematic out of it.
  4. But, assuming that's the issue and Bioware does want the two factions to look different, that would at least bring some interesting possibilites. Of course I'd rather have the whole "no restrictions of any sort" system but I have a feeling that's not the way the devs want to go on appearance and gear.
  5. Hold on, I'll search for the link. EDIT: Here you go, second post of the 7th page.
  6. I'm still searching for it, not giving up until I now if it's still IG or not.
  7. That part reminds me of a very nice fanfic going on, on this very forum. (check out for "Thursday Morning Wrath") Would be some nice feature to add in the game and would solve the small issue I have with my companions not talking to me anymore now that they're 10 000/10 000.
  8. Nice compilation of armors that do indeed look pretty cool ! Thanks for sharing but I'll blame you forever for pointing them out to me because now I wonder why in hell they're restricted to NPCs.
  9. *Sigh*...I certainly do not mean to be harsh but I do not consider gear that requires lvl 50 an acceptable option. And plenty of people do agree with me on that, go check the Marauder forum section. The OP idea would allow you to look exactly the way you want for most of the levelling part of the game. You would not have to grind for a set only available at end game when there are no cutscene anymore and, let's be honest, that's were you're given to actually SEE your character. Again, the idea is: let's make it easy to have the appearance that you want.
  10. I seem to remember that they did say something about being working on some equipment that would require a neutral alignment (mainly relics and weapons). It's supposedly coming in future content.
  11. To be honest I'm concerned with every piece of end game gear delivered in 1.2. But I have to admit, this one was pretty cool in black and silver and just looks like it would better fit a smuggler in brown. Honestly, I've learned the hard way NEVER to trust the trailers: I also play Marauder on the Empire side. Pretty much says everything.
  12. Really ? Do you have any sort of link for that ? It would be amazing to have such features !
  13. Indeed, I'm pretty satisfied with what I get for my Jedi Knight and Consular, even though there are not 50 yet, but Empire side...meh.
  14. That is a great idea ! I hope people will volunteer for this type of contest.
  15. If gear was tight to alignment it wouldn't be some random mishmash and I sure would go light side on my siths characters.
  16. I wouldn't mind "getting through the trouble" of customizing my appearance if there was something worth grinding for. Besides, there are other things I am willing to grind for in game (rewards, valor, titles, gear STATS...) but certainly not looks. Not in an RPG game anyway. And yes, there is a great chance that this thread will remain in the shadows of the forum and won't be acknowledge by the devs but it's actually nice to see that there are other people out there who share the same point of view and ask for the same fix.
  17. I had that feeling when I first read your post that it was the case.
  18. Could you find any hooded up armor for marauders ? Well except for the one that drops randomly from Karagga ? You do realize the reason that there are like a thousand threads on this very forum proposing various ideas such as this one is that most people are unhappy with the current designs ? Otherwise /signed. That would be a great feature OP.
  19. I would recommend checking for this item, it's the same skin but it's orange and drops from a flashpoint (Colicoid War Game IIRC).
  20. It's funny 'cause I actually like Republic armors way more than Empire ones. They have those details, this variety and this polished aspect that makes them look simple and elaborated at the same time. Empire on the other hand...I'm steel trying to get why my Siths, both Inquisitor and Warrior, have to wear fetish gear instead of well...black robes that would fit the Sith theme ?
  21. Especially considering that the last pic I posted is from January 2012, thus a month after release so this is supposedly no beta gear.
  22. Wow, that's actually a great idea, having clothing tied to your alignment !
  23. /signed Although I get a feeling that this thread will go on totally ignored since it comes up with a big issue and actually asks for an easy fix.
