  1. Actually, it's craftable and available to...Jedi Knights only. See here and there. The last one is even considered heavy armor.
  2. I know, that one is almost everywhere except in our inventory.
  3. Something that just crossed my mind: we should have contests based on designing armors for a given advanced class. It seems to me that most whinning about armors and looks in this game is tied to the fact that both advanced classes share the same gear when they sometimes have a very different feeling (sorcerer and assassin for example, have a really distinguished gameplay and feeling).
  4. Honestly, I don't mind what they are called, I just wish we had other options that wouldn't be dresses or robes or skirts or whatever you want to call them. It just doesn't fit the idea I have of how my assassin should look. Having some armor sets spread across different levels (not just one at lvl 50 ) that would be designed around the idea of a pants + chestpiece combo (just like the Supreme Inquisitor set for SI) would be great. And I believe I'm not the only one to want them.
  5. You're supposed to be able to RE it in 1.2. but it's not a guaranted success...wouldn't risk it myself. Jedis have one. There you go. You'll even be able to compare Republic and Empire version of the same gear. Of course, there must bo some technical difficulty preventing designers from simply recolouring this robe black. (/end sarcasm)
  6. This. Plus, the armor already exists in game, there's no need for a complete new design. That could be a good thing to start with.
  7. Ok, I'm admittely hijacking a thread that already exists on other classes forums, the Jedi Consular one being the most active one from what I can tell. I apologize to those who primarily started them but judging by the success they encountered, it occured to me that it wouldn't be a bad idea to have our own. This thread is meant to offer players the opportunity to post the armor designs they like and/or made themselves and would like to see introduced in SWTOR. I hope many of you guys will come and share your thoughts on the subject so that maybe, MAYBE, we'd have a chance to catch some dev's attention and influence the direction taken by the art team on sith warrior gear. I'll start myself with some designs that are from the Force Unleashed and have always amazed me: Marauder/Assassin set (would look great on assassin as well although it's off topic ) Juggernaut/Marauder alternative Perfect look for marauders . Here's another view. Of course some, recoloring might be needed but still, the point is pretty clear. Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas on the subject ! I'd really like to see what the community can come up with.
  8. I feel your pain, I personally gave up on that one and just stopped playing my marauder until they fix the issue. I'm currently focusing on my Republic alts, especially my sentinel and well...it's even more outrageous that all the gear I get with him is just so great no matter what level I am !
  9. Indeed, that's the pvp set for sith warriors except that the hood's down and the metal pieces on the chest are gone. It's a shame but you'll have to get used to see NPCs wandering around in better looking gear than yours.
  10. Unfortunately I've never had my helmet removed during a cutscene with Andronikos or Ashara as a female Sith Inquisitor. I'd like your point to be valid though.
  11. In fact, it seems that the description of the skill was poorly written since it does increase your endurance by 5 for each rank but increases Project's damage by 25% only once, at rank 1. Buying next ranks for this skill helps increasing your endurance and that's it. Shadows and Assassins share the same issue.
  12. So far I have an assassin, a sorcerer, a juggernaut, a marauder and a sentinel, just about to start a consular, probably shadow. So I have no idea for non-force user classes but here's my wishlist for force users, hopefully some of them will get real : Female Jedi Knight: Kira (I wanted Scourge as well, not a SGR but would work great with a dark side character) Female Sith Warrior: Jaesa, possibly Vette Male Sith Warrior: Pierce and/or Quinn, no preference here, both sould be fun Male Sith Inquisitor: Revel and/or Talos, same reason Female Sith Inquisitor: Ashara definitely, would be a better match than Revel for light sided characters Fingers crossed.
  13. That one is just too good, I can't believe nobody commented on it already ! I'll keep this in my mind just in case I find someone's attitude doubtful !
  14. Working through the quests even if they're not light side is what I usually do, I never checked if it refreshes by itself at some point. Something I noticed however: by only doing light side quests I had more and more quests for dark side and less for light side. The same happens on my Empire toon, except that I get more light side quests since I'm maxing dark side on my siths.
  15. You don't have to be one to wish having SGRs added to the game. In fact, the reason I want them is because I like to play characters that are the exact opposite of me and do things in video games that I wouldn't do IRL. Which is why I say, the sooner SGRs get added to the game, the better.
  16. Great idea ! It's annoying as hell when waiting for a WZ not to be able to duel anybody. You just seat there on the fleet, doing literally nothing once you've check your mails and the GTN.
  17. Sadly, I wouldn't bet that much money on that...What really strikes me is that we are given ONE option of a light armor set that does include pants in the design. It's not like we weren't given any, which would tend to prove the devs just don't want us to have them. No, we are given only ONE option. Why can't we just have more ? I don't want to be that sort of wizard/mage archetype on my assassin...
  18. It's pretty much obvious with light armor classes (Consular/Inquisitor): although the current designs might suit the sage/sorcerer, I have a hard time accomodating with them on shadow/assassin characters...
  19. The way I thought about it, it was just about making new skins available through the cash shop, not changing the game from p2p to p2w. I think they might be saving them to offer them as orange items, empty shells with no stats. It would all be about aesthetics and thus, would probably be popular. I have nothing to back up this idea of course, just that it crossed my mind a few times and apparently I'm not the only one. Anyway, back on topic, I hope this thread will grow popular enough so that Bioware will have to take notice and think about having design contests.
  20. There will be a point in her storyline when you'll have to take the collar off to get it going so no worry, you'll HAVE to take it off eventually.
  21. You're not the only one coming up with this idea. I have a feeling it might actually be so and if that is the case then the devs must be laughing maniacally at us when reading those threads.
  22. Wow, you somehow managed to perfectly sum up my point of view on the subject. Amazing.
  23. I came here from the sentinel advanced class forum since the person who started this thread was linking it. And I have to say...WOW , I'm amazed with the designs proposed. If only the devs could take a look at it and actually understand that most of their player base is NOT 12 years old anymore and is looking for something simplier and elegant...
  24. That's why I support this thread, great idea to augment the amount of orange pieces available and their variety. I have plenty of them...on my assassin. It's all light armor with skirts.
