U should raise ur accuary m8 and get str augments instead of power ...Im constantly doing 400-700k dmg every wz im in as vengeance/vigilance, and i just got the conqueror ear/implants so dont get surprized if ur dmg dosent raise that much once u get full conqueror, most important thing is to manage ur rotation/cooldowns attack, attack and attack.. My record this far as vengeance is 1297 dps, over 1.2 million total dmg in a voidstar.
  3. IMO you should always augment with strength (especially with the 6% str talent) cuz that gives u more "free" crit while loosing maybe 4 nonus dmg or smt. I play vigilance/vengeance alot and i got almost 21% crit fully buffed and thats enough imo. If u swap power for crit you will loose more than you gain, the DR is to high after 20% so its not worth it. I've been reading on theese forums about some ppl who say that u still should be aiming for 30% crit, 75% surge and 100% accuracy but those stats is simple not possible anymore. I got full partisan gear with some pieces of conqueror and i got like 68% surge , 94% accuracy. My offhand has alacrity tho so i can still raise either accuracy or surge by 1% maybe. I dont know what stats thats best for vigi/veng atm but killing ppl aint a problem with these stats at least with that high surge im wondering what ur accuracy % is?
  4. Accuracy needs to stay where it is, so does the vengeance talent. A speed boost would be nice, but imo it would be better to put it into "Deadly reprisal". How about a remake to the Vengeance talent. Suggestion: - Vengeance: Reduces the cooldown of impale by 2/4/6 and Force scream by 1/2/3 seconds, and their damage over time effects now slows the target by 15/30/45% for 2/4/6 seconds, Additionally reduces damage taken from AOE attacks by 10/20/30% -.... It could also be tied to Shien form not sure whats best here, but putting in theese changes into the Vengeance talent would solve many problems

Imo the best way to do this would be to add either a passive 15% speed boost to Deadly reprisal (as andrew stated earlier) , or to rework Seething hatred so it addtionally gives our bleeds a slow, or do both . By doing it this way then there is no need for any replacements of talents. Tbh tanks is just gimping themselfs if they pick up shien and unstoppable with all the new nice changes in the immortal tree. One talent im pretty dissapointed in is our sundering throw, that talent is kinda lame for a t6 talent. Add a root to it additionally to what it already does.
  6. Actually I've heard that there will be an increasse to crit from mainstat, and I heard it after the pts was closed.. Might just be a rumor tho, cuz i didnt read it myself.

Seriously *** is wrong with u guys who not want arena in this game? they are adding new operations and pve stuff in every major patch it feels like, while we pvpers never getting anything new (except gear), the world pvp quests on illum was a step in the right direction, but then when the pve event ended so did the pvp quests, why is that? cuz they cuddle pve'ers thats why... they should implement pvp quests (maybe not lvl 50 on all planets but at least on the planets with lvl 50 dailys) in every pvp area of the game IMO. About arena it would be soo cool if they added it and i know MANY who agree with me on that point, and to u guys who do not want it, its pretty simple: leave the arena to those who wants to do it if u feel so worryied about it. Pve'rs shouldnt even have a vote on this kinda stuff cuz we never complain about new operation mechanism and stuffs like that. The only things this game is missing is arena first and foremost, and secondly more world pvp. World pvp could be soo easy to implement, just add all the pvp vendors to the western ice shelf on illum and some kind of reward system, like 5-10 wz comms per kill, abit of valor and some pvp quests maybe even ranked world pvp quests. Arena is imo the most important thing to add to this game and that could be very easy to implement as well. As a start just make smaller versions of the already existing pvp maps like the middle turret of alderaan civil war, or the middle space of the huttball map, or the bridge of voidstar ( ) for example.. Other than this 2 missing things i love the pvp in this game.

Just curious what changes is going on wth heavy armor? cuz i havent seen any changes like that on the PTS (actually my damage mitigation from armor is better on live than in 69 arkanian gear on the PTS), except u didnt mean the 15% bonus from second tier of defense/immortal and tbh that is not that big of a deal imo .. would be really cool if it gets better tho

  10. Getting tired of all the call for nerfs. I do not wanna sound rude or anything but learn to play, ofc u die instantly if u are wearing pve gear or recruit (u would do that VS any good geared good player), but lets face it 400k dmg is not that much any good player in any dps spec is able to do it. I can agree that smash specc is a easy specc to play but its a big difference between good smashers and the FOTM smashers and at least snipers, PT's and sorcs can be on par in dmg done compared to a good smasher.
  11. For vigilance/vengeance im maxing my str (65str 43 endurance mods all the way), wich gives me a little boost in crit and plenty of endurance, while not loosing that much in dmg.. As far as crit goes, most ppl would say that 30% crit unbuffed is the way to go , but imo 25 % unbuffed is enough
  12. but with 5 stacks after patch u will have 100% if the stuff i have been reading is true , it said: sunder changed from 4% to 20% and by saying so it never mentioned that saber throw adds 20% sunder.. but i guess we'll see tomorrow
  13. Well about the utility. If darth hater's info aint wrong and if i understood it right then our sunder debuffs will be changed from 4% to 20% (wich means we will get 100% armor pen on most targets pretty fast) and that should easily make up for the burst lost from force rush (dispatch)... sry my bad grammar

I've been playing a juggernaut since lunch and now i have rerolled a guardian just cuz i love the class so much (and i like the guardian animations more tbh ) , but enough about that and to the point.. I have been reading on the forums that some ppl is using the vigilance/vengeance tree in rated wz and i wonder what setup ur groups are using? I know that some of u will think "just play lolsmash like everyone else" but i find that so boring (sure its damn effective) so im looking for a setup vigi can work well in.. I have some suggestions myself but would be fun to hear how others are doing =) thx in advance

Well u are gaining a pretty nice amount of endurance and u r maybe loosing like 100 dmg of an attack ,plus u gain a good amount of crit if u r stackin strength Im using a lttle different min/max than everyone else then it seems and have to say its working awesome! I have never seen a shien warrior / knight on TOFN who can out dps me =)
  22. While rage/focus just needs to stack power vigilance needs abit more crit. It comes down to what u prefer but i think 30ish crit buffed works awesome.. For my min/max im using the 65str/13 power mods cuz str is more important than power for vigi imo(str augments all the way).. the elite war hero set is pretty good for vigi from the start just skip the high crit mods and replace with high str, by doing like this im sitting at 20100 hp buffed and for what expertise concerns i suggest u max it out.. i have 1393 and i think it makes a difference for the better in both dmg and surviability
  23. I see u r using a shield.. u notice any effect with that? thinkin with that low shield rating u might be better off with a generator, your dots, blade storm and plasma brand benefits from the force power you losing when using a shield

It gives you more burst than the normal vengeance build does but with just as much surviability.. Only concern about this is that its almost just white dmg so in some situations might be tricky but its fun and awesome in most situations.. This build makes it possible to skip most crit and go all for power (im min/maxed for rage and it works awesome) whats your thoughts ?

I've been reading the whole thread and I have to say that I'll take the reduced rage cost for enraged defense talent and finds that far more useful than the other talents to choice from (interceptor 40% speed a few sec after oblitirate and strangulate) and I'm never rage starved .. Its just a matter of knowing when to use it.. I always pop enrage then enrage defense, then I'll still got 8 rage left BEFORE I leap in and then both smash and scream is free.. Well enrage defense aint the best cd in the game but its certainly good if u know how to use it.. As rage i have a baseline of 34 DR and as someone earlier stated that combined with enraged defense is pretty good mitigation (especially combined with endure pain)..
