  1. Hahaha all this crying is ridiculus, what a bunch of whiners flocking this forum. Ppl saying this is a nerf for pvp is either very bad or they dosent know what they talking about. The utility changes is a really good step in the right direction and if u r not seeing this then perhaps it is a L2P issue. Nothing wrong with being bad at a game, the problem with u cry-guys is that u dont realize it for yourselvs. GL

    They dosent have to balance it around 1v1 they can keep balancing around 4v4 or whatever way they have done earlier (note earlier, not like this season) but the point of implementing class specific leagues is to make every class viable in some form of ranked play. The OP classes are always gonna be there, dosent matter wich class it is, ppl will always cry. This way everyone can play wihatever class they desire and still be competitive. Tbh the balance in this game hasent always been like this, stealth classes will always have an advantage but thats why u can CHOOSE to play only VS ur own class IF u want. As a bonus compared to solo ranked, here ppl do not risk of being teamed up with noobs who make the whole team loose, here ppl only have themselves to blame if they lose

    Thats why they should implement class specific leagues, wich means that if u are a marauder for example, then u will only be facing marauders. OFC the most op class is most likeley to be at the top in the universal league with all classes but thats the nature of mmos, there will always be one or a couple of classes who are better than others. If they make this changes however, then all classes could do at least ranked 1v1 without any balance problems.

    Bioware we seriously need new forms of ranked pvp. I got some suggestions I thought its best to mention First off. Bring back ranked warzones! I know alot of ppl who would come back if this would happen, and im sure its the same for many other players. Secondly. Bring in a new pvp mode, ranked and unranked 1v1 duel arena, and make it both class specific and universal between all classes. This would make all players viable in ranked with specific leaderboards for each class 1v1 seasons, and ofc leaderboards for the universal league as well. This also rewars ppl who love 1v1s and at the same time makes it alot easier to get a duel! Lastly make us able to choose wich pvp mode we want to play, both for normals and ranked. This means we would be able to choose from normal wzs, normal arenas, normal duels(both class and universal) and ranked wz, ranked arena and ranked duel arena(both class and universal). With theese easy changes Im sure u will get tons of new subscribers AND most importantly u will make us ppl who only are here for the pvp very happy Cheers!

  7. Defense with dps gear is a beast. u can AOE crit 10-12k+ with guardian slash and u will survive a lot better than the dps trees, while not doing as good dmg. I havent played it much tho but I've got like 1,5k dps in wz with 300k protection so its defenetly viable
  8. Playing immortal in full dps gear atm and today i hitted a sorc for 13k with crushing blow so it can burst pretty well and that attack is AOE as well.. In big fights with good focus its not a very good idea to guard tho at least not if u want to live a bit longer
  9. I like vengeance lot better, better flow, much more surviability, better AOE and more fun x) feels like the single target dmg is about the same only difference is that u trade lots of surviability for more spikey dmg in rage and thats not worth it IMO
  10. I've tried it in full dps gear, back then i had brutalizer on the left side with a the new ranked weapon and the new reg set on all moddable pieces.. Had like 24% crit and critted around 11k AOE with crushing blow (on sorcs, and more like 8-9k on others) so i guess its kinda viable but u die to fast to be an effective guard and u does not nearly put the same pressure as vengeance or rage so its still kinda meh, havent tried it in arenas tho might be awesome

  12. Consider me as a volunteer I've been playing the juggernaut/gurdian class since launch so i know the class very well, mostly from a pvp perspective tho but i guess thats needed as well
  13. No no, gather strength / pooled hatred gets consumed by the first attack that costs rage/focus (20% increassed dmg at 5 stacks) as u prob know? and it stays that way, it just gets more useful
  14. One more idea that i came to think off is to change preperation to Preparation: - Enrage/Combat focus now instantly grants 5 stacks of pooled hatred/gather strength, lasts for 20 seconds. Addiitionally pooled hatred/gather strength now grants 10% increassed critial chance for each stack. but then we need to merge and move some talents cuz the tree is soo damn bloated as it is now.. merge accuracy with single saber mastery and the dots from scream and impale and bingo
  15. Yeh u r prob right, autocrit dispatch aoe reduction and more upfront dmg on PB would be a nice trade for our focused defense as it is now .. One more change i have thought of is to change pooled hatred/gather strength to last for like 20 seconds or smt, cuz as it is now its nice but could be more useful with a little more uptime cuz of kiting and maybe give us 9% strength increasse instead of 6%.

  17. Well seems like i hit a sensitive spot there m8 sry if i made u upset . It says dear bioware and that is kinda one of the problems cuz from a perspective from someone who dosent read the forums very often, its very hard to understand that that thread actually has something to do with PVP and 3.0 at all, sounds more like a pve whining thread.. So would u guys pls reconsider and switch over to this one instead.. and to be clear this thread is about vengeance And m8 if u think its important for me to have my name on a thread in this forum go ahead and make a new thread that covers all 3 speccs called 3.0 Juggernaut changes.. The point with this thread was to ONLY discuss vengeance cuz thats what i want to discuss

  19. Hi guys I just thought its time to freewheel some ideas for vengeance 3.0. With the changes our class has received the last year i would say our surviability has become quite awesome compared to how it was 2 years ago, which is nice, and also now with ravage on a steady basis our burst has improved alot. So maybe its time for some new niche in the vengeance tree. If we look at star wars story n stuff Shien form relies much on counter attacks, strength and heavy attacks. Well vengeance has an increassed strength talent but it has no bonus for retaliation whatsoever. Which is why i suggest this new tier talent in vengeance: Shien mastery: - Increasse critical strike damage bonus of Retaliation and Ravage by 30%. Additionally Retaliation no longer costs rage. There will prob be two new talents in the tree and i have only thought about this one. Many would probably think it would be op to give 30% surge bonus to Ravage but Ravage is our signature move and all other classes has surge bonuses to their trees signature moves, and btw it might not be so op after we have seen other classes changes.   22. Yes it is but IMO it is still not worth it, and strangulate, really? Even payback is better than that, at least for 1v1s. Nah i rather keep my points into the vengeance tree, u still need 2 points into ravager and with strangulate you would only have 36 points in the vengeance tree wich is not enough IMO. You sacrifice to much for very little gain, with our tree bloated as it is u need the best gains for as little as possible outside the tree and I dont think putting anything in the rage tree is worth it ATM.
  23. i think 6 in immortal is way better, you waste 5 points just to get 7.5% more crit to VT, I mean malice isnt needed since it only makes your weak dots crit more often and 20% bonus to smash is nice but i almost never use smash in 1v1, I only use it to interupt a cap or smt

Yes I agree it would be OP and i didnt say that we needed it, but why the **** did they even implement preparation in the first place since it does not offer anything useful for either pvp or pve, and the intent of the ability was perhaps to make us abit more mobile so give us smt useful instead then. A Shien mastery talent would be nice: increases critical strike dmg of riposte, OHS and blade storm with 30% in addition riposte is now free and can be used on cd, and each time u get attacked it lowers its cd by 1 second, this effect cannot occur more than once every second. TBH i think we are fine after these changes that are coming but its always fun to throw up ideas

Tbh I dont like your changes, cuz they change to much .. commanding awe is one of the best talents in our tree and should reamain the same, and buffing our bleeds is a bad idea cuz it wouldnt make much of a difference anyways cuz they are so weak to begin with, I rather give gather strength +10% crit per stack in addition to what it already does. The only thing i agree with is that preparation needs some kind of change and that focused leap u suggested wasnt a bad idea at all
