I'm in disbelief, downloading PTS to see. They will be limiting it to Lightning Charge only. Well I'd prefer some more parsed testing and feedback from PTS-experienced. I'm downloading it at the moment so we'll see.

I screamed irl when I saw it. I'm beyond excited, but still, ahem - "As the Assassin Representative..." I have to make sure they at least confront us about the spec's questionable survivability.

Until you realize you're still squishy as hell. Madness can still be globaled. Why are they refusing to give it as little as a passive survivability buff is beyond me. This spec is meant to be a melee fighter as well but cannot take melee hits? Logic? Where are you?

We'll see. I wish we could make a "Deception" Day, but everyone and their mother plays that spec already. Darkness day might be interesting though.

I'm getting so bored of hearing about this spec over and over again. It's like were pigeonholed into playing that spec. What about Madness? The spec that needs the most help?

You'd be very surprised how often I encounter the question of Assassin's DPS in PvE. I'm sure some of them don't even use parsers but nevertheless are under the impression that somehow our DPS specs are the magic 36/36/36. I do have myself to blame for giving that impression of Assassins regardless of field. Deception is already dumb, and so what? If it needs to be dumber for better effectiveness, so be it. Besides, there are some people who think that the 'dumb' is actually 'awesome', so it's a very subjective topic.

It is not a PvP-only thread so your entire post and point is irrelevant. I've been asked very specifically about PvE DPS in game and have been even told it is overpowered in PvE.

I remember the first match when we dropped those DFs and everyone on mumble was like 'OMG LOL'

There's been some talk around these parts of no Madness / Balance videos etc. out there, so I decided to do an event like this which can accomplish jokes, videos / streams and feedback to BW all in one.

Hello Sins, Shadows and BW, This thread will be utilized to provide suggestions in order to tweak and hopefully improve our talent trees or abilities. Please post in the following manner: Spec or Talent you wish to improve How you will improve it Why you wish to improve it Show us how (whether it is math or good logic) your 'tweaks' will accomplish a beneficial change Example Lambaste (Madness) - Additionally should reduce the cost on Lacerate by X - I believe Lacerate should be used more - If we reduce the force cost by X, then it will allow the ability to be used more often and fit smoothly into an AoE rotation. Main ideas or those most welcomed by the community (with the exception of making sure it isn't nonsensical by me) will be edited into the main post. Please let us know if you like someone's idea as it will help pinpoint the noticeable ones easier. Rules - No flaming or trolling - No over elitism - Ideas may be subjective, try to respect differences - Absolutely no BW bashing! Good luck!

Hey guys, even though this was meant for kicks, I also wanted this thread to be somewhat of a feedback thread as well - so I'm going to extend 'MaD DaY' for a week - so we can get more results in. Just to be sure we aren't crying that the spec sucks, when in reality it doesn't. Y'know what I'm sayin'? Also apologies Poptart, last night my computer's HD was dying.
