People are lying about the game to make it look bad
kasanth replied to Stezzastez's topic in General Discussion
Some people are having FPS issues. Im not that I have ever noticed. but some are. However, I would say that a few of them could probably fix the problem themselfs if they would stop complaining long enough to see that the problem is on their end. As for lying to make the game look bad. The morons copy pasting a emil they see that someone they dont even know got and claiming they were banned for no reason when they were never banned at all. Bioware should teach those liars a lesson and ban them for real for a few days. -
Is this game worth $15 a month to you in its current state?
kasanth replied to thestackshow's topic in General Discussion
Yes, it is. -
Yep, this. While less and less of games are centered around difficult. They do still have difficult parts to them. To many people complained that raiding was to easy in WoW during wrath. But if you would have looked, you would find that not a single one of those complainers killed the Lich king in heroic version. It continues today in cata. Alot of "its to easy" but very little of actually doing the content that they are complaining is to easy. All alot of them are doing is basing their "to easy" claims on the fact that someone who isnt them has done the content. On alot of games the challenge does not come to you. YOU have to go to it. If one chooses not to, then I guess theres ones answer on why its too easy.

Why is it against the rules to make money in this game?
kasanth replied to notafanboy's topic in General Discussion
Same BS message that everyone else has been showing as if its from their email when it clearly isnt. I guess the new "cool thing" is to say you are banned like all the other "cool" kids. -
Neither SWTOR or WoW are grind fests. How about a game that you cant lvl without a group AT ALL? Cant quest without a group? A game where if you want to gain one level, you go kill the same mobs over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again, for 12 hours straight. If you are lucky you may gain a level and be half way to the next one. A game where its common to sit at one level for a week, and sometimes even a whole month. OP has no clue what a true grindfest is.

Low-level character can loot Security Chests located in high-level
kasanth replied to tatoooine's topic in General Discussion
They already banned some people for using a exploit to loot items that they should not have been able to loot. -
Another game that EA had their fingers in, "Warhammer Online", basicly did the same as they are here. They soft capped the servers so theres no way they will ever be so full of players that they cant handle the load and crash. Good idea to a point. But it can also be the first nail in the coffin if you do as Warhammer did and have that soft cap way to low.

Please forgive if this is already in the game. I havnt seen it yet, or heard about it yet if it is. I think they should have a warfront of only space battles to have some action in space that has a little freedom to it. Nothing but ship battles and dogfights. Each side has a coomand ship to protect while trying to destroy the other sides command ship. There will be no ship upgrades and everyone will fly the same ship on each side and both sides ships would have the same amount of HP, and missles to fire, as well as unlimited lazer shots. Making it about who is really the best pilot. That would quench the space battle thirst a little. Space battles now make me feel as if Im playing Starfox or something.

I play both and both are great games. The only people who are bashing either game and saying one is better and the other sucks are fanboys and trolls. As said already, comparing "launch WoW" to "launch SWTOR" is a no contest. Bioware and SWTOR, has Blizzard and WoW beat. Honestly, I would download the WoW free trial and try WoW no matter what the fanboys and trolls say. You very well might find a second MMO you love to play. Worst that could happen is you dont like it as much as SWTOR and just stay with SWTOR.

So i got my first "gold seller" email in game
kasanth replied to haluo's topic in General Discussion
Ive had 5 or 6 of them now. Alays selling currency and power leveling. Always reported as well. -
Basicly this. I did one space mission so far and it felt and looked like i was playing Starfox or something. Space needs to be opened up more to explore and find uncharted planets and so on.

About sums it up.

Well said. Now we can /thread.

Mine asks to talk as much as my robot companion does.

Anyone else actually, like, enjoying the game?
kasanth replied to WalrusParadise's topic in General Discussion
This is my 3rd time playing a MMO at launch. So far, this has been the best one of the 3 launches even with its bugs. I knew going in what it was going to be like, and its actually better then what I thought the launch would be like. -
Why didnt anyone tell me my characters would be tied to a server?
kasanth replied to Debex's topic in General Discussion
Sorry, need to pick a subject that isnt so obvious. -
Is it just me or DO MMO Developers ignore customer base?
kasanth replied to Etravex's topic in General Discussion
They are not ignoring anyone. They know what problems people are having. Do you want them to use duct tape for a quick fix, or fix it so theres never a issue again? Just as a mechanic fixes a oil leak on a car. It seems people here on the forums want the mechanic to just dump thicker oil into the car so it takes longer for the leak to show. The mechanic however wants to look into whats causing the leak and fix it for good so the leak is no longer there. In fact, go to a mechanic with your car and see what happens when you remind the mechanic that theres a leak every few mintes while he is trying to find the reason for the leak. They know theres problems. But posting about it over and over and say "we are being ignored" because you dont get a reponse is just plain stupid. If I was trying to fix something., and you kept leaning over me and reminding me that theres a problem.........lets just say the outcome wouldnt be very nice. EDIT: Want to see what kind of customer they have to deal with? Further down, there is someone saying they should release a MMO bug free because that is what beta is for. A MMORPG release bug free? Please just stop. -
The only flying that belongs in Star Wars is the kind that we already have in the game. they could open up space a little more though. Uncharted planets with suprise world boss mobs and so on.

So he can spread the word that it is a "fact" that the game sucks? After all, the opinion of one who has quit is knowen to be fact and speak for all of us. I wish Bioware would have a rule that if you cancel, you cant post on the forums. Its one thing to tell them in one post what you think in a constructive way. Its another to keep comming back again, and again, and again, with trolling just because theres time left on a account. Not that Im saying the OP has done this. I want to make that very clear. But,It would cut back on the Bs though.

Continuing to subscribe, Loving the game!
kasanth replied to Sacredheals's topic in General Discussion
Yep! You bet I will continue. I have seen a few issues but its nothing that I cant overlook untill they are fixed. -
Not to mention servers going down and STAYING down for so long that people rerolled on a new server up to 3 times before getting to stay on one and get anywhere. If Blizzard can get WoW out of the muck its release was. Bioware can do the same for this game as it isnt even close to being as bad.

another 9 hours of european game time gone....
kasanth replied to Jocken's topic in General Discussion
They are doing what needs to be done when the least amount of people are trying to play. But, seperate maintenance should be set up asap. -
I play DCUO, and it plays a hell of alot better on PS3 then it does on PC. The controls set up is perfect for a console contoler.
