  1. I happen to agree. If you cancel, you give up the right to post on the forums. It would cut back on the BS and angry spam. But it would also silence the people that make constructive posts on why the game has personaly let them down. So I can see why this will never happen.
  2. I think this mission needs to be changed a little. As I type this, I am waiting for the turret to respawn for the 8th time to try again. The problem is your character must get the killing blow on the final attacking mob to finish the mission. Everytime so far, someone has ran up to help kill the final guy and it ruins the whole attempt making you have to start over again. They are only trying to help, and dont know they are actually causing you to fail. It needs to be changed so the last mob just needs to die instead of you having to land the killing blow.
  3. A friend of mine who plays WoW with me had some show up about his WoW account. I also know a few people who get them for games that they dont, and never have, played.
  4. I want Wookie for the Republic, Rodain for the empire.
  5. I hope it is for you to see your own numbers only and stays that way.
  6. I dont raid on here either and dont really raid anymore on my main MMO, WoW. But if i choose not to, I do so knowing that i am missing out on stuff, But i dont expect them to change the game, or change the way something is acquired just because I dont want to go and get it. If i dont want to go and get it, I wont have it.
  7. People always have and always will say stuff that they make up is fact. Always have and always will pull numbers out of their backside. Always have and always will claim that whatever MMO they are playing is dying, people are leaving in droves, they know 100s of people who have quit. and all that other BS.
  8. For most people being lvl 50, they sure have a good invisibility spell. All the running around I have done I have seen exactly 1 and only 1 lvl 50.
  9. Theres a reason why people are on here talking about how great it was back then, and playing todays MMORPGs, and not on those games that are still going today. Because they quickly forget about the bad parts such as wasting 6 hours LFG and having to log off with nothing done that you logged on to do. I cant do the quests again today because no one is on to help. That same guy trained us again. Now I lost a level and cant use my wepons(s) I have. Theres a reason why those that talk about "the good ol' days" no longer play that game.
  10. Not everyone is complaining about any game. Be lucky if even close to half the players even go on the forums of any game. You will also notice while they are complaining they are still playing because they say themselfs they cant find anything better at the moment. By the way. I play both and will continue to do so for as long as I can. Both are great games and alot of fun.
  11. Problem is people go way, way, overboard on how much DPS they want and boot people for not actually over doing it on DPS. If lets say 10k DPS is needed to down a boss. It will be used to boot people for not doing 20k only because they saw one person do that much one time and will think everyone should do that much when its not needed. Then theres the "we want a certain class speced a certain way" that will show up more and more. It will also be used by bad players looking to be carried through as quick as possible. No to any addon that tells you want abilitys to use, when to move, what the boss is about to do, and so on. Play the game and learn how to do things with out a addon holding your hand and telling you.
  12. I agree with you. But you probably wont see much of any talk of milestones untill people have to pay up or leave. Even then you wont hear much about it simply because it isnt going to be as high as people claimed it would be.
  13. Its the same grinding as WoW when leveling. For me it does not seem like it simply because I havnt done it on TOR for the 8th time. Instead of going and killing "Mob A", then "Mob B", then "Mob C", as you do in WoW. We are killing "Mob A" and then killing even more of "Mob A" before moving onto "Mob B".
  14. Even when WoW was a month old you still had the options of taking the 2nd Alliance character to a differnt zones then you did the first character. When a company comes out with something that changes their industry no mater if its games, cars, or anything else. All companys comming out with like prducts will always compare their product to that industry changing product. If they are smart, they will put out a product that CAN be compared to that industry changing product from that "other" company, and still come away looking good.
  15. 6 out of 10 They have a chance to do some amazing things in the near future.
  16. I dont really care if they have dual specs or not. I will, and always will, say a big NO to changing AC. I would say have the trainer have 1 extra spec save that saves all the set up info. This slot would be available to lvl 50s only, cost no less then 50 million, and you have to go to the trainer to switch. then make it very clear that thats as far as it goes. They will not have anymore spec saves, and they will not allow AC switching. Because we all know damn well that as soon as this is in the game. people will be on here wanting more.
  17. Only place you can find them in my area is Best Buy. None of the others have even had them in the store yet.
  18. Have you played MMORPGs before WoW? You want a grind? Go play them before WoW where you couldnt do ANYTHING without a group, leveling or questing. You couldnt quest your way to level cap. Most of your levels were earned through standing in one area, killing the same mobs over, and over. and over again. Spend 14 straight hours doing that and you may gain a level and a half. It was common to sit at the same level for a week, and in some cases a month. WoW and SWTOR are not even close to a real grind.
  19. I do a mixture of both. Have abiltys on 1-9 on number pad, plus 3 bound to extra buttons on mouse. I usually have cursor from mouse on a extra ability during battles.
  20. It isnt LFG system that would cause problems. Its Cross-server LFG that would cause the problems. As long as it was kept within the server. Everyone would still have to get along with everyone just as they do now, or risk being black listed.
  21. I take it with you saying he was not flagged and he wasnt attacking you, that you are on a PvE server. On a PvP server, this would be something that PvP could seetle it, and not much if anything will happen of you report him. However, on a PvE server, this is something that can be reported as on a PvE server this is greifing. No, this is not normal actions. But every MMO has its jerks in it.
  22. I think its by the hour due to the company that controls the WoW servers over there.
  23. This is from MMO Champion in may. WoW Loses 600k Subscribers, Diablo 3 Beta Q3 2011, Arena Passe, Blue Posts WoW Lost 600k Subscribers, down to 11.4M Activision Blizzard's earning call was today and we learned, among other things, that the WoW playerbase is down to 11.4M players. That's 5% less than before the expansion and it seems that players went through the Cataclysm content faster than expected. Blizzard also promised faster release of new content and expansions during the call. From Curse.com During today's Activision Blizzard earnings call, World of Warcraft and its expansion Cataclysm were two very hot topics. Listeners asked a number of questions related to the game, more than any other title or franchise in the publisher's stable. Of note, World of Warcraft's subscriber base has reached pre-Cataclysm levels, according to Mike Morhaime, CEO of Blizzard Entertainment. He then later stated an actual number, with subscriptions at the end of March clocking in at right around 11.4 million. That's down by about 5% from the announced 12 million mark late last year. Interestingly enough, that was right before Cataclysm released. In fact, it's actually lower than the milestone reached in 2008 with the release of Wrath of the Lich King. But one important thing to point out, and Mr. Morhaime touched on this as well, is that World of Warcraft's subscriber base does not change linearly. It fluctuates based on content consumption, which players seem to be doing a whole lot of -- at a more rapid pace -- with Cataclysm. "Subscriber levels have decreased faster than previous expansions," he said. Surprising? Not really. We have to remember that when these numbers were pulled, Cataclysm was in a bit of a lull. The expansion had been out for close to four months, and most of its content had been consumed by a large percentage of the player base -- aside from heroic raids. Published on 2011-05-10 06:01 AM ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have no idea, nor do I care, how many subs WoW has right now. But it hasnt dropped down to this games sub numbers or it would be everywhere.
  24. In before a troll..........nevermind. To late. Point me out a post that anyone said there are no issues. "There are no issues" and "I'm not having any issues" are two different things.
