Yes....you hold bases. our dear friend darky is mad due to the fact a TON of players from opposing factions just stand by and take turns holding the base. No fighting..just turn taking. They all get rewards...and no pvp is had. THIS however...is being fixed in the next big patch. rewards will only be reward if bases are captured...AND players are killed.

so what...games not even a month old yet. wanna fight about it? Lets discuss some MAJOR ideas to add to the game for the expansions. Not just basic wish list, or bug fixes. Major changes to evolve the game! -Ships. We need more of them. We need to be able to choose new ships, and upgrade them on the inside. Buy terminals, mail boxes, crafting stations etc. Make ships mean something! -Space space current is a rollercoaster shooter. While its fun the first few times...it gets old fast. Open up space exploration. create giant sectors to explore with our ships. land, mine, explore etc. Space should feel huge....and it doesnt. -World The game is too linear. While i love the "story driven" aspect. i dont feel like i can explore. they are static...set path maps for level progression. Its not open world, i cant get lost...i cant find new things...its just follow one of these paths till you go to the next world. Thats going to get old fast. Add the rest of the planets as open world. allow exploration of these vast planets. use an upgraded version of how SWG had entire planets! I love the story...but i wanna feel like i exsist in the galaxy thats full of life! -world PVP the current state of "world pvp" is appalling. you cant even call it that. enemy factions should be able to go anywhere, fight anyone, with difficulty scaled accordingly. I dont wanna sound like a fanboy...cause i dont like wow...but wow got that right. Add world pvp...you need explorable...large planets to make this fun. -Races We're all boring. the only real "alien" race is twi-lek. the rest are just humans. Blind humans, humans with horns, humans with machine parts..blue humans etc. Add wookies, ithorian, rodian, trandoshan etc... -More optional player companions once past the lvl cap...the new expansion should allow us to CHOOSE a companion(s) from a list...not just pair us with one. And perhaps that choice effects the story of the expansion greatly cause they are for example...poorly aligned to the character. So there is tension, betrayal etc. -More Droids Add optional driod player companions. Or allow it so we can swap the default droid companion for other droids of various models, with different bonus's or abilities. make it more customizable. -more lightsaber colors! And while i'm on it...get rid of the alignment restriction for yellow and blue. Green and red should be the only alignment restricted. Exar kun was a GREAT sith and used blue. Not being able to use blue as a sith is stupid. Please add to this suggestions list!

i'm not rage quiting because the game has bugs. I'm rage quiting because the game doesn't work properly. -After the last patch my launcher wouldnt load. Process was running, but no game client. -After trying things for ours....i called support. -Tell me to use the repair tool in the sw folder. Nothing -***** tells me to Uninstall and re-install. This isnt a bad idea, i call her a ***** cause it gets much worse. Anyway, i uninstall. -Pop CD back in for a reinstall. Cd doesnt reinstall it. Says it encountered and error and installation incomplete. -***** tells me i'll need to format my harddrive!! Are you mad woman? I ask for a supervisor. -Supervisor tells me its the CD. It has known issues on disk 3. I tell him great...i'm on disk one. whats the problem? -Tells me disk one could also have problems. Take it back to store, and call back with new CD. -I decide to try that. Store wont return it. So i buy another copy cause i DO love the game. -Take it home...same problem. -Call support. He tells me its likely that disk too. I LOSE IT! I ask for HIS boss. His boss agrees and says its a known issue. I'm like...DUDE i have two sets of disk...both flawless...both not installing anymore after you had me run an update, then uninstall. -He argues with me. SO i pop disks into my OTHER *******r PC...works just fine. i thank him for wasting my time and money. I suggest digital download. -Doesn't work. Game wont download assets properly. Tech blames my ram. (based off nothing, he didnt have a DX diag or error message to go off of.) -I buy new ram. try again as per instructed. Same thing. -He says to keep letting it "Repair" itself, as its not actually downloading the same 16gb again, it just thinks it is. Its only getting the damaged files. (this is ********) -downloaded 16gb 6 times! -I reach my 95gb bandwith cap. and call back. He tries to talk me into it again.... I flip my lid and tell him its NOT working, and unless you're gonna pay the 50 dollar fee for going over on my bandwith...he'd better come up with a fix. He tells me its become a known issue with the CDN that distributes the patch data. and they have no fix at the moment and i'll have to wait a week. but i'm welcome to keep trying or looking for fixes online. Lets recapp -$60 dollar game -$150 ram -$60 dollar for second copy -$50 for going over my BW cap. -14+ hours talking to support and i dont even know if its free or long distance. so another bill likely coming in the mail soon. And they still cant' fix the problem.... you tell me why i shouldnt rage quit..... In all fairness...the game was one of the best i've played in a LONG time. I loved the game. But i can no longer play it. Support is usless and costing me a fortune. Not worth it....
