I just encountered this same problem. I've been going through my alts to get all the companion storylines finished. Everything was going well until I hit my smuggler. As mentioned by others, all my companions had one conversation available and I am unable to progress beyond that.

Yeah, I was more thinking for characters that haven't moved on to KofFE yet (I have a commando I'm waiting to get a screen shot of the the scene with Havoc Squad all together), and characters in KotFE once they have gotten the old companions back. I'm also really wishing they'd fix the character select screen bug.

Did they ever fix the bug so that your companion's armor actually shows the correct dye/match to chest option during cut scenes? I see that the character select screen still doesn't show correctly if you have a dye equipped (I think that had to do with the appearance tabs), which I find pretty irksome. I was hoping that they'd actually get that and the companion one fixed.

As I've been running through my alts I've been doing The Enemy Within in it's solo mode. I was just curious, aside from the obvious, what differences are there in doing it as an operation? Is there some benefit to doing it that way? Am I missing anything significant by not?

I've just submitted an application. I'm basically a casual player of average skill level that is looking for other people to do group content with. I've got 9 characters (Sniper is my main) due to being unemployed for a while, but now that I'm working again, real life rears its ugly head. Looking forward to checking it out!

I'm starting this round of the Rakghoul event 20,000 reputation short of Legend. So my question is, when on Tuesday does the reputation cycle reset? Turning in rep for this week will leave me around 7,000 short of Legend. Would I be able to get up early (I'm in the U.S. Central time) next Tuesday and get in the last amount of reputation I would need so that I can get the items from Jeelvic before the event ends and he disappears?

I was pretty happy when I saw the rewards that were being offered. That went away quickly once I learned that they yet again relied on a random drop from a boss that you can only do twice (at least they can be traded, but still). 6 ops runs, hm and sm, and no barnacle. I'm not even really worried that I get it this time around, since you can't hit legend for 5 weeks anyway, but there were so many other options they could have gone with, trading in DNA samples (not cannisters), drops from the wandering champs, making it a guaranteed drop from the ops boss. I just want to be able to earn my reward and not have to rely on luck.

According to Dulfy's guide, it looks like the bloom and barnacle can be traded.

The specimens were. I haven't managed to get either of the others yet, but based on that I'm assuming they are.

Exotic Plague Specimen drops from Shellshock. As far as I know, it's a guaranteed drop (was in a group that killed him 6 times yesterday, got one each time). I've heard from other players that Fungal Bloom drops from Catalyst. Now if only the barnacles weren't locked behind a stupid need/greed chance on an op that locks out...

No, if you read the actual quote, it says the original characters would only be in the forefront for episode VII and then the newer characters would become the focus for VIII and IX.

That was my thought as well. They could have moved the red one here, or made green, gold, or white, and still stuck with the winter/holiday theme. Not to mention all the other colors. Somewhat disappointed that they just chose a slightly different version of a color that already exists. But nice that it's less helixes.

True, it's nothing too spectacular, but it's amusing for a bit, and it's a step in the right direction. I'm more disappointed that when they decided to offer a new sphere they just used a slightly different version of a color already available. They could have moved the red sphere to this, or offered a green, gold or white one while still keeping with the winter theme. Hopefully this is a start, and we'll get better versions in the future.

To me, this is one of the biggest problems that SWTOR has. The story is great, it's what's kept me here. I want to play through all of the class stories. But with so much else in the game it seems like they looked at their competition and instead of seeing what worked, what players liked, and doing it better, they just went for average. There's a ton of unrealized potential in this game, and a lot of it could have been seen already.

I have over 12k in coins, and that's after using 600 on the Cathar, and around another 1-200 on a couple of unlocks. I have not purchased a single coin. Early access subscriber on the 6 month plan, security key, bonus grant, achievement rewards. Maybe he did purchase coins, but it's more than easy for someone to have that amount without doing so.

Here's another novel concept... He's free to voice his displeasure over the price. I didn't actually see anywhere in his post where he said he was going to buy it.
