I am in the same boat. Bioware does need to work on fixing the bugs thou.

The underwater content was pretty different. There just was not much added.

Metacritic user scores are worthless (way too easy to create false accounts). For me, ToR is just a lot more fun. I enjoy my different story based quests. WoW was just over simplified the last couple of expansions. GC has a very different idea of fun than I do.

My sage is currently neutral with some dark moments. A lot of the World quests are fun going dark, as are some of the class quests, but there are some dark choices that make you go what? Imho, a dark sage would work if you do not mind a few light sided points here or there. You can get rid of the light side points at 50 with flashpoints / diplomacy easily enough.

I was a day one WoW player. I changed servers on day two because my first server kept going down. I played WoW for a long time almost six and a half years on that day two server. However, I really dislike GC's direction for taking thought and planning out of character building. I do not plan on returning to WoW. I really have been enjoying SWToR. SWToR is my new MMO home. I have tried other games (Rift, AoC, etc), but none were nearly the enjoyment level that I got with WoW. SWToR is the first game that I enjoy more than WoW.

Players on pve servers should never get flagged unless they want to be. That is after all the purpose of a pve server. Bioware should fix this.

He is talking about a gunslinger. You know a class without heals and stealth. At level 15, do they even have aimed shot?

Skuishe, I have seen were gear made that big of difference before (in WoW Wrath I started 70 at 1300 dps by the end I was 5200 or so). The difference was all gear. Now we do not have combat logs in The Old Republic for proper number crunching. I will try to observe the differences between my sage and any teammates on my assassin (lvl 50).

There are two sides to this coin. Guild Wars & Guild Wars 2 (on its way) give very few rewards for pvping (nothing that makes a difference). The only advantages are really build based. This works for some types of players. Other players like to be rewarded for an activity (ala good looking gear), these types of players prefer the Star Wars types of systems.

There never is perfect balance in any MMO. The leveling bump seems to put you into green gear level so you can compete and be effective even at 23. I am not a great pvper ( only made Lt commander in WoW), but I do have more fun in sub 50 pvp now.

Ilum is a disaster. The Ilum changes created a ton of new battlemasters and destroyed the Republic side on pvp servers. Not to mention, the level 50 Imps are all in Ilum looking for the 1 or 2 Republic players out there. This Ilum change needs to go away.

Yeah, this would get people to queue up for WZ again. The whole Ilum mess is a disaster.

Getting a couple of levels helps a lot. If I am having issues, I load up on medpaks / tech surgeon devices. Biochem is truly, truly great. If you can explain which bosses you are having issues with in the class area, people can give you some tips (ala the exploding barrel for balmora sith sorcerer).

I killed a 44 mercenary yesterday on my 23 sage. The new brackets made low level pvp fun.

Yeah, I find it kinda of funny as well. The new pvp bracket is a lot of fun. I was having a pretty good time on my Sage yesterday.

Yeah, the Ilum mess pretty much ruined level 50 pvp. I will just pvp on sub level 50 characters as well.

I despise the new Ilum changes. Tons of new battlemasters appearing in a day. This patch ruined world pvp for a long time. No, I do not believe that a roll back is coming. In a way Bioware killed their own level 50 pvp with the Ilum mess. On a more positive note, the new sub 50 bracket is a lot of fun.

Yeah, I never ever plan to step foot on Ilum again. ILum is an epic clusterf*^& I did enjoy playing in the new sub 50 wz bracket thou.
