That happened to me a few times, I had to go to the process windows (Ctrl-Shift-Esc, if that doesn’t work try Ctrl-Alt-Del instead) and close the swtor.exe process manually to force the game to close. It's no ideal, but it's better than a complete reboot...

The point of PVE servers is to remove the risk of non consensual PVP. In other words i should only be flag if and when i want to be engage in PVP , and not when a meatball decide to exploit a bug to gank me.

In my opinion you should upgrade your RAM first. It’s easy and cheap to add more RAM in a PC and you should see an improvement of your performance.

I'm playing the devil advocate here, but since you receive free cartel coins each months, you will, eventually, have access to the new contents for free, so technically they didn’t lie. Personally, I had enough cartel coins to get the new race for free , I only paid for the race change , which is 'normal' in every MMO i know.

Sorry to hear your friends don’t want to pay for to the game. But, as a subscriber I’m not paying fifteen bucks each month so your friends can play Sw:Tor for free. Like I was saying in another thread, your friends will have access to fifty level of content free of charges. If that's not enough for them; sorry but I don’t want them in the game.

Yeah that’s why my sorcerer is DPS now and I've stop doing FP.

Both of my characters are healer (Sorcerer level 40, Operative level 31) and I usually find a group in less than 30 minutes with the group finder. I guess the wait time is longer for the DPS characters, but for healer and tank the queued time is pretty reasonable.
