Yeah well, the majority of the player base obviously disagrees. Sorcerers outnumber Sages by 2 to 1 or more. I personally find the rock throwing animations super lame.

Should I take the "Combat Medic" armor over the "Eliminator" set? It seems to me that accuracy is not as good as alacrity. Actually I'm not sure what accuracy really does, I never seem to miss anyway. Any advice from fellow gunnery commandos would be appreciated.

They may have reset some of the graphics and other settings. Go check your settings first, imo.

PS I think Bioware should outsource development and QA more, it's worked out so wonderfully for them so far.
