this is a alt centered game. You weren't supposed to be changing specs multiple times a day. Stop doing it and create an alt. This is how the game was designed.

while I appreciate your post..and this in-depth analysis you put here..that I didn't read..I can tell you, you wasted your time. As a DPS that has participated in many HM and raids in SWTOR..it holds little meaning with how easy the content is..and how easy it is for tanks to create threat.

So let me get this straight..you are complaining that republic vs republic and imperial vs imperial civil war doesn't make sense. Yes..overlook the fact that if you do this warzone..100 times over..that it makes just as little since. Why are the imperials and republics continuing to fight in this same exact place..the same exact way..with no new strategy whatsoever. I mean..it makes less sense then the chewbacca defense. No, if I am paying a subscription cost, part of that cost should go into development of the game im invested in. It is very stupid to charge people a sub..then charge people for the content that sub goes into. It is one or the other. Not both.

why yes I am, and it gives me great pleasure to think this keybinding nerd ragers can get outplayed by a clicker. They aren't superior..then just want to think they are.

im confused..whats so special about using a random ability once every 20 minutes..during solo play? It's not special..if I want force choke..ill create a sith and do it. What a stupid system legacy is :/. I am disappointed in it's direction.

yeah..resolve is just as broken. It takes 3 CC to fill it..however if your already CC..it still adds..get hit by 3 people witih 1 CC..your free from CC for the next 10 seconds or so..escape and people can't do nothing.

I find sage the worst as a dps/heal hybrid..they usually do 100+k then anyone else..sometimes double the next person..and still have the highest heals.

healers are our bane..as they can outheal damage..and once your out of energy..your useless. Dodge will not dodge force abilities..lighting will always hit you. And unless in champ/cent/BM Gear..Dodge only lasts at most..1.5 seconds. Very short. I usually near the top of the DPS chart. Usually only losing to BM Sages or Sents.

one does not need to be a writer to know that this isn't some epic story. One only has to be a reader. No, I haven't played Agent..but I have played smugger, trooper and bh. The FP stories as you progress are no better either. If I can not have this so opinion because I am not a writer, then you have no right to say for it either. Sorry, I know you are a avid fanboy so blinded, but if you think the stories in this game are near the level of past Bioware games, or even on the level of regular published stories, then you are sadly mistaken and the only stories you do know are probably other MMO's or FPS's. If you honestly think that romance in a story that revolves around 2 1 liners is good to bed every girl you meet, or that catching up to the person your chasing..only to be told "he is out shopping" and proceeded to return to your ship and fly away instead of waiting for him to return (which he does do..then fly's away) is akin to anything even resembling a rational decent story..then I feel sorry for you. You been duped by the VA that forces the story down your throat, and think its something epic because your just a fanboy.

Honestly, no. People will try to tell you the story for this game is great..but it just isn't. Fully voice-acted yes, but it is very amateurish and stale. It doesn't even come close to the stories of KOTOR or Dragon Age. It is filled with repetitive 1 liners and nonsense plot devices to keep the boring story going. How many times can we sleep with someone after speaking with them for 2 minutes. Sorry..but no..the story is far from awesome or great..it is akin to something a ***** middle schooler would write.

Why do i need the mouse to turn Sunday? Is 1.5-3 seconds cast times not enough to make the time difference moot. For that matter ..why do i need to turn around at all. I can use my abilities while your behind me and not in view just as well if was in front.

As a gunslinger i can pretty much murder Pyro/vanguard 1v1 and usually outdamage in Wz overall. Now operatives and healers..another story

Maybe..but you and others are acting like it actually makes a difference in this game. Your trying to min/Max a game where even the min is overkill. As a pure clicker using the hot. Bar i can 1v1 pretty much anyone. Those i can't are because of mechanics..outhealed so i run out of energy or that operative CC takes half life and fades away..rinse and repeat. For healing..its not difficult to click a frame and heal. I don't need search the map looking. If you think that extra 1/4 of a second makes difference between life and death..then your already bad. So yes..most times keybinding is quicker and more efficient ..after you learn to never click wrong key and memorize where you.bound 30 keys. But the efficiency difference has literally no impact in this game.

Not at all. I would just bring up general conversation about classes and the game and such. I didn't even balk at the others when i was told they couldn't even be bothered to help because they were to high level and i can just solo. I came in one day ..asked if anyone wanted do wz and got kicked. Asked why and got the response in my original post. I joined that guild for simply fact i played the game 3 months..and was only invite i ever got..or seen. You don't even see guilds spamming for members. I have heard of similar stories too. Not many..but it fits with how people perceive the game and the way majority plays it

Wrong. I move with the keyboard and use abilities with the mouse. I'm always at/near top with damage. Kills and commendations. You must be one of those melee people who run around me in circle like it makes a difference. Sorry but i don't need to face you to use any ability ..the character will turn to face you even if your behind me.

Until your guild kicks your for chatting in.guild chat. Have had and seen happen. People did want talk or see the green chat and kick people for it. There is an extreme anti social environment to this game

I don't think ill renew in April. No one wants do fp/ raids..people want solo everything and I'm tired of dame 3 wz and repetitive dailies. At least other games have dailies that change daily/weekly. World pvp is pointless still. Nothing to be gained from it. As it stands the only benefit it to grief players. I was hoping legacy system would be something worthwhile ..but alas another let down. Another vanity mechanic to promote single player. If i wanted to force choke i would of created a sith not a smuggler. I didn't want force powers ..why would you think allowing me to once every 20 min..in solo quests. Its like ffxi old 2 hr cd abilities ..only useless and vanity. Everything new being added is pure vanity. No..i see what the future has for swtor..and i don't like it at all

True. By engine though..i think many of us are specifically targeting biowares development on the game..not just saying problem was hero engine itself ..though that could have limitation. Was just trying to point out that upgrading isn't fixing the issue and turning things off improves nothing. Everything you mentioned is on bioware to fix and optimize ..not on us as customers to use only a few specific hardware configurations to work. That just poor development there. But yes..regardless if specifically engine or optimization..we are wanting actual fixes..not useless work ariundd and told we don't have right equipment to run..we obviously do ( well mist of us )

Yes..but don't overlook the fact that people having these issued are already running the top end cards. These people **ARE** shutting *everything * off..and * still* having the same issues.
