  1. There is one on imp side, there should be one on pub as well. I just don't know which one.
  2. H2+ and H4 quests are really just icing on the cake. Some of them give really useful items: Others give you a complete set that you may like the look of. That being said, you really don't NEED them. Or any planet side quest, for that matter. I just recently leveled a pair of troopers all the way to 55 doing story quests + KDY ONLY. Ques for KDY pop so quick, and you gain a level nearly every time if you unlock the legacy xp boosts and pop a xp boost on top of it. Only the last 10 levels were done during double xp week. Not that it would have mattered, leveling two like that I never ran out of rest. Edit: I should add I DO NOT recommend KDY - only for leveling to new players. There is so much story you could miss in the little planet quests you'd really be missing out on a lot. And the stories are really what this game is about.
  3. I've seen this before, sometimes you have to log out and log back in for a transaction to take. It there may be a time delay. No idea why, really. Glad it got resolved for you. Dem boots rock!
  4. Confirmed. I went back to fleet and picked the quests back up and the terminals work properly now.
  5. Pick up a few Major Exp boosts (3 hours) and unlock the flashpoint and class quest legacy xp perks if possible. Then que up for KDY tactical. They're simple and straight forward enough that all but the most clueless to do successfully. (most noteworthy failures I've seen are shadows who kick mobs off ledges in the prison scenario agroing the entire room, causing a wipe) KDY ques are much faster than traditional FP's because you don't have to wait for a tank or healer to que up. Then just do your class quests in between. I've been leveling 2 troopers this way and haven't touched planet quests at all. The only drawback is your gear is a little harder to get because of fewer planetary comms. I have crafters for that though, so it wasn't a serious problem.
  6. nowhere near full. and even if it was, it wouldn't block me from looking at the quests available on the terminal
  7. I still have the items, I just dumped the quests. They're long, tedious and the rewards are painfully underwhelming IMO.
  8. Yea, they are only available for a limited time. It's part of the business model, keep people buying cartel coins. Many disagree with the practice, but it's a major part of what keeps the game going financially.
  9. After I picked up the Seeker droid and macro binocular quests, I was able to pick up the GSI quest to find the mission terminals on 4 different terminals. I was able to pick up quests on Tatooine just fine, but not on any other planets. Is this caused because I abandoned the seeker droid and MB quests? Or is there a level requirement to access those other terminals?
  10. There's a full guide for obtaining end-game crystals at http://dulfy.net/2012/05/07/endgame-color-crystals-post-1-2-and-how-to-obtain-them/ It comes complete with photos. The one you ask about drop in operations. (Good luck with that as above) Or you can buy them on the GTN. The Derelict Purple crystal, available from Enforcer Contraband Packs and on the GTN looks remarkably close to the crafted Purple one. It will likely cost a good deal more but has the advantage that you can unlock it in collections with a few hundred CC and replicate it as many times as you like on alts for free. I've done this with a couple different crystals and level all my alts with either +41 Power or +41 endurance depending on class.
  11. CZ-198 vendor has DPS (HK) and Tank (4X, Scorpio) droid parts rated 168 for a mere 50 basic comms + 100k Credits. So it's actually EASIER to gear them, although you are sacrificing basic comms you could be using to buy Isotope-5 you need for 180 rated main-hand barrels, hilts, ETC. Also, the vendor versions are legacy bound. You can buy the schematics to craft them, but I believe those are BoP.
  12. It's already done. Check the crafting material vendor on fleet. They cost 20 Exotic Element Equalizers and 350 Elite comms.
  13. And this is where being in a good guild becomes invaluable. What? up-coming sage healer needs help with a boss fight? Lemme-at-em! He's not unbeatable. I wouldn't have gotten past him if he was. Gear Nadia up. She's an amazing DPS companion. If all else fails, come back in a level or so and have another run at him.
  14. If you return her for a refund, you lose the discount if you try to get her again with a different toon. Just take her and get the unlock when your monthly CC allowance builds back up.
  15. Way to thread-necro. The person you are replying to hasn't had a single post to the forums in 2 years. Replying to someone who no longer plays the game is rather silly don't you think?
  16. It ads up faster than you'd think. with all my alts, I maxed out reputation with them months ago. If they hadn't changed the rep vendor items to only sell for completed contracts, I'd have no more incentive to bother with the missions at all.
  17. crappy luck. Are you doing them one at a time, or in stacks? Supposedly it doesn't affect the % chance, but I don't think I ever had a full stack miss.
  18. The official site doesn't include an exclusive pet. If you're that hard up maybe you should consider NOT spending the coins in the first place? I know of no time limit, but I know of no reason anyone would leave something there to collect dust.
  19. Of course stealth can do the heroic solo. I'd love to see you thread past groups of mobs solo with a non-stealth class. I smell a troll.
  20. Crafting mostly. Like someone else said, alot of people have had several toons at level cap for more than a year. All those alts gather mats cheaper than GTN prices which I convert into gear people need. NOT spending money on the latest Cartel speeder, gear or pet also helps.
  21. Ummm... No, no you don't. Not solo. Oricon was specifically designed for group play. 156 gear is fine for most of it, but the elite bosses require a bit more if you hope to solo it.
  22. It's a gamble either way since it can contain most anything. 40+ is good as those are the levels that get you to 47 where you can start doing dailies and basically the last levels that planetary comms are relevant. 30 - 40 gear is also popular to help get through those grindy mid level doldrums.
  23. You can get 2400 for just $20 at Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-The-Old-Republic
  24. It's a personal preference. There is nothing to be gained, stat-wise from seeker droid missions. They are time consuming grindy, in my opinion. If you happen to like the gear, want the achievement or whatever, then press on. I don't use them for anything except grinding GSI rep. But that's me.
