I'm casual and do not want this. But yes, a complete reversal of their stance on this issue is worrisome. If this game becomes WoW, I'll go play WoW, the combat system is a whole lot smoother and they have Arena.

If it wasn't for the BH proc laugh, I wouldn't be able to tell that Rail Shot was up. This revision to the UI is just atrocious.

I don't understand why they messed with it nor why it wasn't in the patch notes. It drives me crazy, but I can get used to it. If its not broke, don't fix it.

Yup, it's terrible in its current state. Prepatch wasn't perfect but it was useable.

I'm with you, what happened to the ability bar is a train wreck. I bought a game card but I'm not sure I'll buy another in two months. I may let things roll along without me and check back this summer.

Can we please get an Add-on to use the search tool for us?

Yes, this is just terrible. Why reinvent the wheel? Just copy WoWs, including proc animations around the abilities quick bar button.

I agree. Except for any class with perma-stealth capabilities. They should be nerfed into nothingness.

You are so right, this has little to do with lacking a LFD tool, people are just anti-PUG. There is enough to do while leveling, Flashpoints aren't a necessity.

Very true, but as WoW is the biggest it gets the biggest share of the blame. I'm not confident that anyone would invest time/money in a new MMO that didn't try to emulate WoW. This just isn't an mmo thing, how many companies are innovating any kind of product? Apple and Bose come to mind but one had a CEO for life and the other isnt publically traded. Why should a CEO care what happens to their company 2 years from now when his bonus is tied to this years stock price? Door is wide open for some Indy developer to clean up on the mmo market...but that said, maybe it's just the end of an era.

They correctly assumed they would enough on their plate to deal with without having to deal with class balance issues. Better to iron out the big issues then play chase your tail with class balance. The amount of QQ will drastically increase once the numbers get out. I don't mind getting a head start though...nerf everything but Bounty Hunters.

I feel that they really went out of there way to keep the two factions seperated on most planets. It really is a dissapointment when you roll on a PvP server and probably have less than ten fights by the time you reach level 43. I'm looking forward to rolling Republic...maybe I can see some more action. To avoid getting griefed, you need to have an alt ready to switch to. No sense giving them fun when you can just switch planets.

I like this. Plus you can tack PvP onto any of them. That's what happens to my beloved PvP most times anyway.

Bingo. I don't think that you could find funding to develope a MMO if you said you weren't going to clone WoW. All the blame rests on WoW's epic subscription numbers.
