  1. I would also like to see this option added.
  2. You're punishing players who elect to do crew skills by forcing them to choose whether or not to actually use/pay for training crew skills or work the GTN with gathering skills only so they can afford to pay for speeder training at level 25. 35k is too much -- it needs to be 20k like it was before you changed it. This was a slap in the face to everyone who purchased the Digital/Collector's Edition for the Longspur -- you reduced the value of our purchase to almost nil.
  3. I do enjoy tracking down Datacrons, but the jumping mechanics in this game are TERRIBLE -- such precision is needed to retrieve datacrons, but the jumping system is so inconsistent, pretty much all fun is removed from this part of the game. You need to seriously consider making Datacron hunting less like Tomb Raider and more like Star Wars.
  4. Let me first state that I really enjoy the solo/leveling-up content part of this game -- it is well-designed, fun and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to play through it. That being said, I am very disappointed with the current state of the end-game. I can respect that SWTOR wants to differentiate itself in the MMO market, but there are several key features that should have been given top priority after launch: - PvE Heroic Quest/Flashpoint Looking-For-Group matchmaking system - Bracketed PvP / Cross-server queuing I realize these features are "coming", but I fear it's already too late. It's no secret that the server populations have significantly dropped. On my server, Davik's Estate (PvP East), the server was "Full" during the first month after release. As of now, I am frequently one of less than 10 players on the Republic Fleet on the weekends before 2pm EST. SWTOR lacks the tools to make participating in end-game content a fun and enjoyable experience. By the time these tools are released, I don't think most people who have already left would be willing to re-subscribe IMHO, I think these tools have far more importance to the overall success of the game than a guild vault or the Legacy system.

  6. This pretty much sums it up for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnKYF_ZZQDE

    Sick of cc

Yes it is. And the hundreds of thousands of other people who have already quit. I'm one of two people still playing the game that over 30 started.

    Stun, stun, doom

I couldn't agree more. PvP plays more like a game of pinball than anything else. It's sad, but true.

    Will pvp die?

SWTOR makes it far too easy to kite melee classes. Ranged DPS get far more abilities to fend off melee classes than melee classes get to pursue/combat ranged. Fact.

That's because every class has the same four types of CC and it's spammed -- it's a fundamental design flaw and it will be the downfall of the PvP game. Instead of using abilites that do damage, this fantastic new MMO has eliminated all of that with slows, stuns, daze/mez, push, pull and (my favorite) AOE knockbacks! You get that until you're blue in the face -- back-to-back ... then you're dead. Great system.

    Will pvp die?

PvP in this game was dead-on-arrival. There's far too much CC -- in fact, every single class in this game has as many and every kind of CC ability than ALL OTHER CLASSES COMBINED any other MMO I can recall. Mez, stun, slow, dots ... all in one class! I seriously question the design process behind allowing all of these abilities to poison gameplay. If that weren't enough, melee classes in PvP are almost useless. It seems that most WZ victories are awarded to the team with the most ranged DPS classes. I've seen at least 3 WZ in as many days where the enemy team had 7 Inquisitors and won by a very large margin -- that speaks volumes about the state of the game. Unfortunately, I think PvP is irreparable at this point because it's riddled with fundamental design flaws. Ilum is just a reflection of the overall design.
  12. The numbers released at the summit are total population, not the number of people actually playing the game on an "active" basis.
  13. If judging by the number of players on the Fleet for each side is any indication, then it probably is. I have both Republic and Imperials toons and this is what I see at concurrent times: Republic Fleet: 34 Imperial Fleet: 128
  14. If this is really your attitude, then you're part of the problem.
  15. That happens so infrequently though. When the over-strength faction has people that do not accept the join, there are usually people behind to fill those slots. On the under-strength realm -- nobody is refilling those slots so it's pretty much a guaranteed loss unless you're playing a bunch of ignorant players or have an amazing premade. And on my server (Davik's Estate), the Imperials outnumber the Republic by at least 4 to 1. It's absurd.
